Mrs. King grabbed Wendy King by the hair, dragged her off the bed, and gave her a vicious beating.
With nothing left to sate his lust, Charles King’s head began to clear. He groggily took in his surroundings, and when his gaze t Carla King’s icy, bloodshot eyes, he was instantly sober.
Carla King marched up and slapped him, then kicked him several tis with her high heel. "Charles King, I’m divorcing you! And I’ll make sure you leave with nothing!"
"My father took you in from an orphanage, handed the company over to you, and even gave you my hand in marriage! And this is how you repay him? By having an affair with my own sister? How could you do this to ? I’m divorcing you, and I’ll see to it that you two are utterly ruined!"
Wendy King panicked. It hadn’t been easy for her to get this far, and she didn’t want to lose everything. "Sis! Sis, I’m innocent! You told to co and check on him. He dragged onto the bed the mont I walked in! He forced ! Sis, you have to believe !"
"Forced, my ass! You bitch, you’re still lying through your teeth!" Mrs. King threw the photos Annabelle Linton had given them at Wendy’s face and slapped her. "The proof is right here! What do you have to say for yourself now?!"
Wendy King’s face drained of color when she saw the photos. ’These are the pictures I was saving to threaten Charles with later! How did soone else get their hands on them?’
Speechless, she bolted out of the room, completely forgetting she was naked.
Carla King stared at Charles King and said coldly, "You’ve got so nerve, Charles. You’ve really got so fucking nerve. My dad is lying in a hospital bed, and we don’t even know if he’ll live or die, yet you’re here in a fantasy suite, cheating on with my own sister!"
"Our prenup states that if you ever cheated on , I have the right to divorce you and leave you with nothing. As of today, we are done. And you are done with the King Family!"
"Carla..."
"Don’t call that!"
Charles King hadn’t clawed his way to the top by being a fool. He thought for a mont, and everything clicked into place. "Carla, Wendy just said you told her to co here. This was all your doing, wasn’t it? You set up."
Carla King scoffed. "If you weren’t a cheater to begin with, how would you have ended up in this situation? I set you up? We’ve been married for five years, and you’ve been sleeping with that bitch Wendy for three of them. Was that setting you up, too? From now on, you’d better rember who you are. There’s nothing between us anymore!"
"I built the King Group with my own two hands! You think you can just cast aside now? No chance! I’m not signing any divorce papers!"
"Heh. We’ll see about that."
With that, Carla King coldly turned and left.

Only after she ran out of the room did Wendy King realize she was naked. She scrambled to the fourth floor, stole a bath towel to wrap around herself, and then finally fled the hotel.
What she didn’t expect was the large group of people Mrs. King had arranged, waiting for her right outside.
They imdiately started chasing her, beating and screaming at her.
Wendy King ran for her life and happened to bump into Vivian Yates and Faye Sheffield, who were just coming out of a shopping mall.
Wendy King ran toward them as if she’d seen her saviors. "Vivian! They’re trying to beat ! Help !"
Vivian Yates saw the large mob, noting they looked like a bunch of rough country folk. She then glanced at Wendy King, a cold glint flashing in her eyes.
She was about to open her mouth and say she didn’t know the woman, when she heard soone from the mob ask, "Now what? The howrecker ran over to those two."
