Annabelle Linton stared down at her, her frigid eyes revealing complete indifference, without a single ripple of emotion.

Exuding an icy aura, Annabelle Linton slowly approached Vivian Yates and crouched down in front of her.
She glanced at the nurous wounds on Vivian Yates’s body, then coldly gripped her chin. A deadly smile spread across her lips, as bewitching and heartless as a blooming poppy.
Annabelle Linton chuckled softly, her slightly hoarse voice laced with a casual ruthlessness that seed to suffocate the entire hospital room.
She jerked Vivian Yates’s face upward, forcing her to et her gaze, and chuckled. "Vivian Yates, do you really think this is over?"
Her previously mild expression was now steeped in a boundless chill. "No, it’s not over. If I recall correctly, this isn’t the only score we have to settle."
Struggling with the last of her strength, Vivian Yates hissed weakly, "Annabelle... Linton... what is it you want!"
"What do I want?"
’I’d like to know that myself. But before anything else, revenge must be had, right?’
Annabelle Linton repeated the question softly, the smile on her lips widening inch by inch as she said lightly, "What could I want? I’m just here to collect everything you owe from the past."
Vivian Yates’s eyes widened in terror. As she rembered all the things she’d done, the color drained from her face.
"What goes around, cos around. Sooner or later, you have to pay your dues. Surely you understand a principle as simple as that, Miss Yates, hmm?"
Annabelle Linton chuckled again. "But... since we both know what’s what, you’d better watch your step from now on. Don’t give any dirt to use against you, or else..."
She paused, the icy smile on her lips growing even colder. Though her words were for Vivian Yates, her gaze was fixed on Leona Grant. "Or else, I will destroy you, no matter the cost, and leave you in a state where you can’t live, but you can’t die. A life worse than death!"
With that, Annabelle Linton violently shoved Vivian Yates aside and stord out of the hospital room without a backward glance.
The mont the door slamd shut behind her, the smile on Annabelle Linton’s lips vanished instantly.
She slamd her fist hard against the wall, an icy light glinting in her eyes.
’Damn it, that bitch really did have this all planned out!’
’I know Vivian Yates too well. She won’t make a move unless she’s at least ninety percent sure of the outco!’
’Making her kneel just now was partly for revenge, but it was also a test.’
