"Annabelle Linton, say that again if you have the fucking guts!"
"I could say it a hundred tis and it wouldn’t change a thing! Leona Grant, you an nothing to anymore. Don’t think your yelling and anger will make apologize or back down in fear!" Annabelle Linton retorted, resolute and with nothing left to lose.
"Good. Good!" Leona Grant snarled, a laugh escaping him in his fury.
’I have no place in her heart? Then who does?’
’Aaron Wyatt?!’
’Damn it!’
Leona Grant’s face turned sinister as he spoke, all reason gone, "Annabelle Linton, today, I’m going to show you exactly whose woman you are!"
Panic flashed in Annabelle Linton’s eyes. Before she could react, Leona Grant had pinned her to the sand.
Giving her no ti to react, Leona Grant ripped off his tie, bound her hands with it, and pushed them above her head.
Then, his lips crashed down on hers!
He stole her breath, his kiss forceful, domineering, and ruthless.
Overwheld, Annabelle Linton struggled, but with her hands bound, she could only kick at him.
A sharp glint flashed in Leona Grant’s eyes as he used his own legs to pin hers down.
Now, their position was even more suggestive.
’Soone could walk by at any second. I can’t let anyone see this.’
At that mont, Annabelle Linton was truly afraid.
She began to struggle again. "Leona Grant, let go!"
Leona Grant ignored her and began to kiss her neck, his kisses turning vicious.
Tears welled in Annabelle Linton’s eyes. She twisted her neck, trying to evade his mouth. "Leona Grant, people are going to co by! Let go, quickly!"
"Annabelle? Annabelle?" Just as she finished speaking, Aaron Wyatt’s voice called out from a distance.
Annabelle Linton had been gone for a while, and Aaron Wyatt, growing worried, had co out to find her.
Hearing Aaron Wyatt’s voice, Annabelle Linton struggled with renewed desperation. "Leona Grant, hurry and let go! Soone’s coming!"
Leona Grant knew it was Aaron Wyatt’s voice. Her intensified resistance only fueled his anger. "So what if soone’s here?"
"Annabelle, where are you?" The voice grew closer.
"Don’t do this! This is my friend’s wedding. I don’t want to be humiliated in front of everyone!"
Tears of desperation stread down Annabelle Linton’s face. Her icy composure finally shattered, leaving her no choice but to soften her tone with Leona Grant.
"It would be perfect if he saw us. That way, he’ll stop harassing you!"
Annabelle Linton stared at him defiantly and cried out in a low voice, "Leona Grant, if you force yourself on today, I will never, ever forgive you!"
Leona Grant froze. His sharp gaze fell upon her tear-streaked face, and as his eyes t hers, it felt as if sothing had pierced his heart—a swift, violent pain.
’Just look at her. She’s always so cold, but now she’s actually crying!’
’She said she didn’t want to be humiliated in front of everyone... but she probably just ant she didn’t want to be humiliated in front of Aaron Wyatt!’
He sneered. "And if I don’t force you today, does that an you’ll co back to willingly?"
The answer was no.
She couldn’t bring herself to beg for rcy, but she couldn’t lie just to appease him for the mont either. Annabelle Linton bit her lip and simply stared up at him, her expression utterly pathetic.
Looking at her defiant, disheveled state, a pang of pity shot through Leona Grant’s heart. In the end, he couldn’t bring himself to go through with it.
He pushed himself up, untied the tie from her wrists, and stood there, looking down on her.
Annabelle Linton quickly wiped her tears and straightened her clothes, afraid soone would see her in such a disheveled state.
Watching her scramble to look perfect for Aaron Wyatt, a sharp pain lanced through Leona Grant’s heart.
A cold, thin smile touched his lips. He turned and walked away, his expression grim.
