Grant’s sharp gaze swept across the scene. Just as he’d expected, Annabelle Linton was petting their "son" with her head lowered, clearly preoccupied, while Aaron Wyatt leaned in to whisper sothing in her ear!
He sneered, his eyes turning bloodshot as he stared at the two figures outside, his gaze so intense it seed he could bore a hole right through them.
’Aaron Wyatt proposed to her, and what was Annabelle’s answer?’
’That she’d consider it!’
’To even consider it ans she’s already wavering. Annabelle is all alone now, with only Aaron Wyatt by her side.’
’They already had a four-year history, and Aaron even took a bullet for her last ti. With the passage of ti, they’ll be married before you know it!’
’And what happens after they get married?’
’They’ll live together, inseparable from dawn till dusk. Aaron will hold Annabelle in his arms every night. They’ll sleep together, and before long, they’ll have a *real* son?!’
’No, I won’t allow it!’
’Annabelle is mine!’
The very thought of those two getting their happy ending made him completely, utterly, and absolutely lose his composure!
His refined upbringing, his imnse self-control, his masterful ability to conceal his feelings—it all shattered, utterly spent. Not a single shred of reason remained!
Grant shot to his feet, waves of fury blazing in his eyes. A dangerous undercurrent churned within him, his blood-red, murderous aura terrifying to behold—as if he wanted to slice whoever angered him into a thousand pieces!
His face grim, he stalked outside.
Xylas Shepherd moved to stop him but was pulled back by Nathaniel Locke.
In this state, he was beyond reason. Any attempt to persuade him could even turn brother against brother.
The two n sighed in unison, watching Grant with concern.

Annabelle kept her gaze lowered, pretending to be absorbed in petting Stuart to ease the awkwardness.
She had just gotten divorced; she’d long since lost all hope in love and marriage.
’I don’t plan on marrying again in this lifeti. How can I possibly hold him back?’
Aaron Wyatt smiled and gently patted her head. He looked at Annabelle Linton, his voice firm and full of deep affection. "Annabelle," he said, "we will be together."
"Heh." The word had barely been spoken when a deep, cold, sarcastic voice cut in, "Be with her? You’ve got so nerve!"
They both looked up to see Grant’s cold, grim face.
He stared at Annabelle without blinking, his eyes filled with an overwhelming rage. His gaze was like a pair of knives digging into her, and an icy chill seed to emanate from him.
Annabelle froze for a second before her expression turned instantly cold, her eyes filling with deep disgust.
Seeing the instantaneous change in her expression, Grant’s fury surged.
’So, for Aaron Wyatt, it’s all coaxing, hugging, and feeding him, but for , it’s just coldness, annoyance, and disgust, is that it?’
’Fine, Annabelle. You’re really sothing else!’
He let out a cold laugh, his sharp gaze fixed on them. "You two want to be together? Did you ask for my permission?"
Aaron Wyatt: "..."
Annabelle Linton: "..."
Annabelle was rendered utterly speechless by his words.
’With his permission?’
’Has he lost his mind?’
Not wanting to waste her breath on him, she took Stuart’s leash with one hand, grabbed Aaron Wyatt’s arm with the other, and said, "Let’s go. It’s getting late, let’s head back."
Grant’s icy gaze shot toward Annabelle.
’What did she an by ’we should head back’?!’
’Are they living together now?’
’Damn it!’
"Stop!" Grant said, his voice cold and domineering as he glared at them. "I said stop. No one’s leaving until we get things straight!"
After he spoke, his sharp gaze swept over the surrounding onlookers. Police officers imdiately appeared and dispersed the crowd.
The once-bustling street fell silent in an instant.
Aaron Wyatt stood his ground, confronting him coolly. With his hands in his pockets, he showed no intention of leaving, and not a trace of fear was on his face.
