"Hmph." Vivian Yates’s lips curled into a cold smirk. "I’m honored to receive such a spot-on assessnt. Since you think so highly of , I suppose I’ll just have to live up to your expectations."
Annabelle Linton raised an eyebrow, her gaze cool and detached.
"Ah!" Vivian Yates scread, grabbing the tray in Annabelle Linton’s hands and dumping all the scalding tea onto herself.
But the mont the water hit her, her expression changed instantly.
Her calves, her arms—any visible skin—rapidly turned red and swelled up. The sight was horrifying.
A triumphant smile played on Annabelle Linton’s lips as she watched.
’She knew Vivian Yates would use the tea to fra her.’

Vivian Yates saw the brazen smile on Annabelle Linton’s face, and a wave of panic washed over her.

Watching Vivian’s conflicted expression, a wicked thought popped into Annabelle Linton’s head.
She clenched her fists, rolling her shoulders as she walked closer, then slapped Vivian across the face, imdiately followed by a backhand.

Vivian Yates clutched her face in terror and asked in disbelief, "Annabelle Linton, you actually dare to hit ?"

Having been pampered her whole life, Vivian Yates had never been subjected to such humiliation. She lunged forward, clawing wildly, and Annabelle Linton kicked her squarely in the stomach.
Caught completely off guard, Vivian was knocked to the ground by the kick. She stared up at Annabelle Linton in a daze.
Annabelle Linton looked down on her. She had learned basic Taekwondo in Albion; Vivian, with her nonexistent fighting skills, was no match for her.
Annabelle Linton pressed her sharp stiletto heel onto Vivian’s hand, her face devoid of expression. "You’re already scalded, so you won’t mind getting a beating from as well, right? A burn is a burn, whether it’s from a cup or a whole pot. So maybe I should just burn you to death!"
Annabelle Linton’s gaze was glacial as she stared down at her, the very image of a demon.
