Great one?
Raith doubted what his ears just heard. What in the multiworld was happening?
He looked at all of them once again.
Their faces were lowered to the ground but he could feel the humbleness and submission that each of them displayed. In front of them was a hulky man in brown leather armor, his hair was long and wet, dirtied from battle perhaps.
He had the aura of a leader. Raith looked at him and asked:
"You... are you the leader?"
The man shot his face up, his eyes radiating respect, fixed on Raith.
"No sir! Each of the general of this rcenary union has only acted as a reagent till the great one is revived."
’Now, isn’t that interesting...’ Raith feared where this was going to but he did his due diligence to make the conversation continue. Who knows, he could be very wrong.
"So this great one... where is he?"
The man bowed his head again. "Right in front of us. You are the great one!!" He shouted.
Turned out his suspicions were right after all. Raith exhaled, he was exhausted to the bones. As he tried to respond to the man... his vision got blurry and before he could tell what was happening, everything beca black.
’...what?’
He couldn’t have collapsed because of tiredness. Sothing was wrong with him.
[GREED is advancing...]
He heard Sage’s voice, figuring out where the anomaly had co from.
’Am I like this because of Greed?’
He felt strength seeping out of his body slowly and as a result he could barely even keep himself conscious. Slowly, he faded out and his body collapsed.
The group of bandits shouted as they saw Raith faint. The leader caught his body before it could fall on the ground then carried him.
As he turned with Raith in his arms, the others carved out a path, hurriedly they took Raith to one of the rooms in the their base. The most important room.
—
After a long while of sleeping. Raith slowly opened his eyes. What he first heard was Sage’s voice.

His vision was still blurry when he sat up but in a couple of seconds. That changed. To see exactly what happened Raith entered his soul.
The letters displaying his profile appeared in front of him as he gave the ntal command.

Raith swallowed his spit, eyes frozen as the transparent panel stood in front of his face.
A second later, he recollected himself and shook his head rigorously.
’You don’t an those are my stats?’
[They are your stats]
"Those numbers! Are they even real?"
[Ever since you have been taken by the abyss. I am surprised to see your physical condition growing at a very fast pace]
[I am inclined to ask you... what did you do?]
Raith was still frozen a bit. Unresponsive to Sage, trying to comprehend the full extent of what he just saw.
[Also the massive level up from GREED improved your stats. In conjunction with the recent thirteen days showdown with the Dreadsoul a bête-noire grade monster]
There were all too much for Raith to process.
[Although, with the weight manacles, your strength and speed and greatly reduced by them]
Sage added.
Raith was strictly dumbfounded. Unable to do or say anything for the next few minutes.
Then he heard soone knock on the door and ca out of his soul plane.
He looked at the man that slowly ca in with a tray and a bowl on top of it.
As huge and broad as he was, he kept his head low as he approached Raith and dropped the tray on the archaic wood next to Raith’s bed.
Raith looked at it and looked at the man. The man had a large scar stretching over his right eyes, across his nose bridge to his cheek.
Although the color of the scarred eye was different making him heterochromatic like Raith, he didn’t seem to be particularly blind around that side.
"Who are you again?" He narrowed his eyes as he asked.
He rembered he t so hooligans before passing out, he just was not sure if this man was him.
"My na is Hans Cromwell. I am the reagent commander of the rcenary union" the man uttered, his husky voice brimming with vitality.
"I see. Hans." Raith paused, glancing around the room before carrying on with his statent.
"Sorry. Where is the Asura I ca here with?"
"He left ten days ago." Hans responded almost imdiately.
Raith stared blankly at him for a couple of seconds and then scoffed. "What do you an he left ten days ago. It was just until a few minutes, maybe hours, that he sent down there..."
The man shook his head hard, "No, no. Great one. You descended into the Bottomless pit thirteen days ago."
Raith frowned, "Bottomless pit?"
"It gained the na because it’s bottom can never be seen. But we went to inspect it. Great one, you have vanquished the darkness in the pit!!" He shouted, raising his hand.
Raith put up a hand. Imdiately, the man went silent and bowed his head.
"What do you an I was in that place for thirteen days? Why in the multiworld is Thard - Harl gone? Where did he go and why the hell do you keep calling great one?!"
