Restart: The World Savior's New Beginning Chapter 13: Ch 13: Taking Adventurer Guild's First Mission

When the sun have just arisen Elena wake up from her sleep. It has been very long since she had a good, carefree sleep like this. As a Origin Human and Demogorgon Elena doesn't really need sleep as a race, but still as a forr normal human she enjoys sleeping.

After waking up she used so regular spells like -[Refresh], [Purification], [Clean] and then finally a Ti Magic spell [Perfect State] to start the day. It was still early, so there were not many custors in the eating area but the inn staffs were still ready to serve. As expected of a high end inn.

So, after having a heavy breakfast with bread, bacon, salad and eggs, Elena left the inn. Today she wanted to do so regular adventurer like work. So, she went straight to the guild.

After arriving there, she could see that the guild was not busy at all as it was early morning but a lot of drunkards were in the bar area of the guild. She went pass them and she found that only two receptions were open, and one of them was Corella so she went straight to her.

Seeing Elena coming over Corella brighten up and with enthusiasm called-

"Good Morning, Elena Onee-sama. Can I help you anyway ?"

Elena smiled a bit seeing Corella's enthusiasm and replied-

"Yes, can you let know what missions I can accept and how to take it ?"

Corella then told Elena that she, as a D rank adventurer can only take mission upto C rank and she can find a suitable mission in the "Mission Tablet" which is a guild exclusive magic tool just like "Orb of Judgent", specially gifted by the Supre Goddesses.

There an adventurer can see all the available missions and it's details and they can also search for a particular type of mission by using the search and sort function of the magic tool.

Elena was impressed by the technological advancent of this world. She thought-

"Lya did ntioned that she helped the regular inhabitants to make several advancent in technology to make the life easier."

Thinking such things she went to a empty "Mission Tablet" and search for D and C rank missions. There was several types of mission like- monster terial request, monster subjugation, Guarding, collecting herbs etc. But there was no bandit hunting request as probably she had captured all the nearby bandits yesterday.

One can take several requests if they can fulfill it in ti and if the request items are near each other. So Elena choose monster hunting requests, a herb collecting request where the herbs grows near the monster habitat and monster material collection request.

When Elena told Corella about the requests she had chosen, Corella was once again impressed by her perfect choice of correlated missions. After getting her missions approved by the guild, Elena left the guild and went toward the south gate to get out of the city and to the forest nearby to complete her missions.

Elena entered the city from the north gate so south gate guard's were not in the know about her. So there was no fuss and after checking her adventurer card and seeing her rank as a D, she was easily allowed to go outside the city.

Elena went straight to the forest for her missions. The subjugation missions she had chosen were for D rank Greyis (grey coloured wolf type monster) and C rank Pandrasi (Giant monkey type monster). Their habitats were close to each other. And she also took the request for Greyis and Pandrasi material and to collect a herb called "Noctura" that grew near that area.

After searching for these monsters using her regular [Presence Sense] instead of using her [Total Clairvoyance] she was able to find the monsters and they were also close to each other as expected. But the Noctura grass was not in that vicinity and it was present in a deeper part of the forest. So Elena decided to first take care of the monster subjugation and then go looking for the herb.

Making her decision, Elena started walking toward the wolf pack. Instead of directly teleporting there, she wanted to enjoy the atmosphere of the forest. After walking for about 30 minutes and killing so goblin and other low label monster and also letting Echidna consuming a goblin to get it's skills, Elena reached the Greyis' location.

As soon as Elena reached the place, about 20 Greyis ca out to attack. They all were between level 120-130, so for Elena they weren't even small fry. Even calling them dust will be too much honor for them.

But instead of using her overwhelming strength, Elena restricted her stats to level 100 and started using only basic level sword mastery to fight. This was Elena's way of training her fundantals and even making weak opponents useful. Greyis were well known for their combat capabilities as a group so Elena was looking forward to that.

But even so, for a peerless sword user like Elena, Greyis were too weak even with only her basic moves and the fighting was over in just few tens of minutes and there was about 35 Greyis corpses lying around her.

She then found one Pandrasi and engaged the monster in a close quarters combat as this monster was known for its physical capabilities. This one was a C class monster and it was level 177. So Elena again restricted her stats to level 150 and started the fight with only her basic barehanded martial arts.

This fight also didn't last for long and was over in about 10 minutes. The monster's corpse looked unhard from outside but it's insides were all in complete ss. Elena then found two more Pandrasi and used them for her training sa way.

After she was satisfied and getting three Pandrasi and 35 Greyis in her inventory, she finally went deeper inside the forest to get the rare herb "Noctura".

But as she was getting close to the place where those grasses were she felt sothing. Using her [Presence Sense] she saw that a group of adventurers were fighting against a large 15 ter tall bear monster and their condition was not good and the female swordswoman facing the monster from the front was on the verge of death.

Elena can always just look another way as it really has nothing to do with her, as she doesn't know anyone from that adventurer group. But she can't do that. If she can do sothing like letting soone, who is not her enemy die infront of her than she will not be the Savior. That was just not in her nature.

So Elena teleported straight to the place where the fight was taking place, blocking the bear monster's killing strike which was about to land on the girl, with just one bare hand.
