Liene loved her father more than anyone in the world. Her mother died at an early age and after that ti her father had showered her with love. She was not the only person he loved but as the youngest child she received most of it.
Then when her other worthless brothers and sisters started to fight each other for the throne and made her father sad, she beca very angry and left the royal palace to live outside it. The only reason she ca back here from ti to ti was to et her beloved father.
A few days ago, her father beca very sick, probably because of all the stress he was getting and his health declined rapidly. The other princes and princesses found this to be so kind of signal and started to fight even more fiercely. She was the only person who tried to treat him.
Now she was not the little girl anymore who could only run away from the palace. Currently she held the power to control the underground throughout the whole dynasty. Even if any of her foolish brothers or sisters took the throne, he powers would not diminish at all.
Actually if she wanted to join the fight for the throne, she could already have beco the crown princess, as she had many secrets about the majority of the nobles, who would be forced to support her. But she did not want it.
Her father had not asked her anything about those worthless brothers and sisters of her for a long ti, so she was a bit surprised that he suddenly asked about them. But after thinking about it for a mont, it made sense to her. Probably because her father was very sick recently, he got so free ti to rest. So he might have beco worried about his children during that ti.
She did not hide anything from her father and told him everything that they had been doing for the last few years. Hearing about the princes and the princesses, Leonhart beca more disheartened and that showed in his face.

Leonhart needed to find a good successor to get a good score but if he chose any of the current heirs then he was sure that he would fail this round. And even if he stepped up his ga and forced one of this children to behave properly and then give him a thorough training to beco a good king, he was sure that still he would only be able to get a barely passable score.
Leonhart then decided to do sothing that the old king himself might have done and asked his favourite daughter -
"Liene, my dear, who do you think is worthy of the throne after my passing ?"
It was not like Leonhart would decide to make the person the next Emperor whom Liene recomnded. But as she was a very intelligent woman and knew a lot about the real situation, he decided that there was no problem in asking for her opinion.
After thinking about it for a mont, she replied -
"Father, I do not think any one of my siblings are good enough to inherit your throne. But if I really have to choose one then I think the fourth elder brother might be able to handle it better than the others with so help from the officials."
The fourth elder brother in question was Keolo, who was very muscle brained and had very little intelligence. He also had a bad tendency to enjoy violence in a sexual way. And if Liene was judging him to be the most normal among her siblings, then one should guess how really bad the other siblings were.
But Leonhart was not willing to do so as he was sure that this guy was also a bad choice as he would not be able to get a good score by choosing him. So, as Liene's advice was not very helpful, he decided to do what he was planning to do from the very beginning.
Leonhart got down from the bed and approached Liene. Then he put his hands on her shoulders and said in a solemn voice -
"Liene, my beloved daughter, I have a request for you. You can think of this as the last request of your father. I want you to stay together with for 3 years and I will teach you everything that I know as a king. Then I want you to beco the true ruler of this nation."
Liene asked seriously -
"Father wants to beco the next Emperor ?"
"Are you unwilling ?"
"If father wants to, then I will do my best."
"That is comforting to hear, but your father knows that you do not enjoy and have no desire for the position of the emperor. So, how could I force you to beco one ?"
Liene cutely tilted her head in confusion.
"Then father, what do you an by becoming the true ruler ?"
"Liene, I want you to rule the nation from the backgrounds. You can choose any one of your sibling to fulfill the role of a puppet king, while you will run the nation from the shadows. I wanted to suggest this for a long ti but I was never able to do so due to my indecisiveness."
That was actually true. The old Emperor had thought many tis to take this step but always backtracked as he did not want any of his children to beco a puppet. But today Leonhart was able to implent it as he did not have such sympathy toward so young fools.
Liene opened her eyes wide as she never expected her father to say sothing like this. But after she thought about this matter for a mont, she could easily guess in what circumstances her loving father was forced to take this step. Seeing her thinking about it deeply Leonhart said -
"I know that this is not an easy decision for you to make and I also do not want you to make any decision in haste. So think about it carefully and only make the decision when you're completely sure and ready. You should also feel free to decline if you're unwilling. I do not want you to do anything that is not your true wish."
The old king loved his youngest child a lot. And as Leonhart had inherited his body, he did not want to do sothing that the old king would hate. He was a bit worried that Liene might not want to do it but Leonhart's worries were unfounded as soon Liene replied -
"No father, I do not need to think about it anymore. I also do not want to see the nation that you protected for so long to beco a thing of the past. So I want to make it even more prosperous and I will accept your proposal. Thank you for making your inheritor. I'm truly glad."

And after that Leonhart spent 3 whole years to teach Liene everything that the old emperor knew and also gave her so of his own experiences. Just like that Liene transford and beca a truly worthy ruler. Then after 3 years the body of the old emperor finally breathed his last.
After dying Leonhart's soul beca an observer and ti passed in a fast motion and due to his choice the dynasty did not fall and instead beca even stronger with Liene's competent leadership.
And for the first ti in the tower, in a very easy round, Leonhart was able to get the perfect clear due to his decisiveness.

Elena was happy with the fourth stage even though it looked like a very easy stage. But actually this stage not only judged the emperor's ability to choose a worthy successor but also judged his decisiveness.
Normally many other emperors would not think about making Liene the ruler as her bloodline was less inclined towards the royal family. But as she was the best candidate to beco the ruler, Leonhart was decisive to choose her as the successor and that gave him his first perfect clear in the tower.

Leonhart realised that he was in a city that was probably facing so kind of disaster. And soon the contents of his mission appeared in his mind. He just needed to beco a wealthy noble to clear the stage and had to end the famine to get a perfect clear.
Now it was beggar Leonhart's ti to shine.
