Leonhart's plan was very simple. Actually if it was a throne succession of a human kingdom then it would have been more complex, but beastkins were simple species. If you are the strongest among the other princes and have the strongest support behind you then you can beco the king easily.
If the other princes are not accepting then defeat them, if the king is not accepting defeat him too. And then you would see that everyone would start to support you. So Leonhart's plan was to simply strengthen himself using several dungeons that the marquis had in his lands and also to win over other strong nobles.
Having the support of a marquis was definitely good but only it was not enough. He needed more noble's support if he wanted to get the throne without any uncertainty.
So, he requested the marquis to use all his power to find out what the other high and mid ranking nobles wanted from the next king and he would choose so nobles among them who might join their side. There were still quite a lot of nobles who had not taken a side so far.
Leonhart planned to make them his supporters. It would not be easy, but he believed that he had the ability to do so. So while the marquis was busy collecting, managing and evaluating all the information about other nobles, Leonhart was also busy grinding levels with his fiance.

Soon after just 3 months or so, suddenly 4 counts and one marquis who had remained neutral so far suddenly decided to support the fifth prince Arnold. But that was not the end.
After one more month, one of the most prestigious Duke houses of the kingdom, the Vergendis family also supported the fifth prince. This instantly made Arnold to be the strongest prince for the current ti.
Alongside the Vergendis house, 10 more count houses and 3 more marquis houses who were also close with the Vergendis house gave their support to Arnold. After that happened, he beca the first Prince to beco the crown. And his clearing condition was also fulfilled.
Next Leonhart did try to unite all the small kingdoms, but the remaining two small kingdoms joined forces and one of them even asked a foreign nation for help. That was too much for Leonhart's small nation to handle and die in that war. And just like that Leonhart's journey in the tower ca to an end.

Elena was quite satisfied with Leonhart's performance in the tower. She just collected the scores of all the other emperors who had also challenged the tower and she compared Leonhart's score with them. She had no malicious intention and just wanted to see where Leonhart stood among all the past emperors.

Leonhart was soon able to see his total score. Now he would be able to get a score for two more rounds and that should boost his overall score by quite a lot. Soon his new score was shown on the screen.

Leonhart was gasping in surprise. He was confident that he had perford quite well in the tower, but even in his dreams he did not think that even the supre goddess would be satisfied with his performance. That was really sothing that he did not expect and it ca out to be a very big surprise.
But he was happy with his surprise as now he did not only have the blessing of the beast god but also the blessing of a Supre Goddess. A blessing of a supre goddess was not sothing to be underestimated if even that was only a minor blessing. The effect of that blessing was actually a little bit stronger than even the high blessing of the beast god.
Currently Leonhart was hundreds of tis stronger than he was previously before entering the dungeon. But still he felt like he would still be unable to see through the strength of Elena. That was very disappointing but now at least he was sure that Elena was a Demigod rank powerhouse. He had this suspicion for a long ti and now he was sure of it.
He also knew that as now the exploration of the distinct divine realm had co to an end, Elena was going to probably leave the empire and he was not sure if he would be able to see her again or not. So even though getting such a good score on his trials should have been a happy thing for his, he was feeling a bit sad.
As soon as Leonhart ca out of the tower, he found Elena waiting for him outside the tower with a sweet smile. As soon as she saw him, she congratulated him -
"Congratulations, Leonhart. You did really well. So, how are you feeling after officially becoming the best Emperor of the Gaim Empire ?"
Seeing Elena praising him so much, he smiled bashfully and told -
"I'm feeling very happy and proud of my achievent. I also want to thank you for all your help, as without it I would not be able to collect all the materials of such high quality."
"You don't need to worry about it. I do think of you as a friend, and doing this much for a friend is nothing. Now what you need to do now is to train hard. With all the blessings, I'm sure you're feeling very strong and needed to master that strength. Not only that but your potential had also skyrocketed with those blessings, so you just needed to get stronger and stronger."
Hearing Elena saying so Leonhart beca serious and took it to his heart. Then he once more beca a bit nervous and asked -
"What do you plan to do now ?"
"Umm, I was thinking about visiting a few more new places on this continent and then I was thinking about going to a different one."
Hearing it Leonhart beca sure that Elena was going to leave soon. So he asked once more and this ti he was even more nervous -
"Will we be able to et again ?"
This was a very important question for Leonhart. He did not want to completely lose all contact with Elena. But currently he and Elena lived in a completely different world, so if Elena decided not to et him anymore, he could just agree even though he would feel imnse sadness.
"What nonsense are you spouting, silly. As I said, I'm your friend and both of us have a long life ahead. I will co back to your capital to et you again in a year or two. Why are you speaking like one of us is going to die ?"
At that mont Leonhart felt so insanely relieved that he almost passed out then and there. He was also very happy. Normally if one's crush called the other person's friend then that person might feel very sad but Elena was so much higher than him that even Leonhart himself could not imagine standing side by side with her. But he was not done. As Elena ntioned, he had a long life ahead so he was going to do his best to catch up to her, even tho that might just be impossible.

Elena was very happy with the outco. She had been acting a bit or cheerfully and airhead to not give the impression that she could see through Leonhart's heart. A man needed his man's pride as much as he needed his strength. So, if acting airheaded could help Leonhart she was willing to do so for as many tis as it needed.
It was also good that Leonhart did not propose to him as then she would be forced to reject him and that would be bad for his heart. So she indirectly rejected him at the very beginning. Then she encouraged him to focus mainly on gaining strength. Elena had always believed that strength is most important so she did that. And the outco was very favourable.
Leonhart was now more motivated than ever to catch up to her and that was a very good thing. Elena wanted everyone whom she liked to get stronger and in the little ti that she spent with Leonhart, she had really co to like him as a friend. He was a good and sincere person and Elena liked those qualities a lot. So she genuinely wanted good for Leonhart.
Obviously the promise she made to co back to et him was also true. She was planning to co back to Myrilia Kingdom after visiting a few places and at that ti she could just casually visit the Gaim Empire too. Distance was nothing to her after all.
And just like that the exploration of the distinct divine realm and Elena's visit to the Gaim Beast Empire ca to an end.
