What Gu Si threw toward the others present there were five small beads, the size of a ping pong ball. All four of the large family of this city had sothing that was their speciality.
The Hun family had an ancient inheritance for array formation arts and they were very strong in this field. The Shin family also had an ancient inheritance for talismans. The talismans that they had used were called "Earth Protection Talisman" and "Tree Guard Talisman". They were quite well known talismans that had a quick deploynt and good defence. They were two of the best talismans to defend against sudden attacks.
Seeing that his Trump Card was not able to deal with any of them Gu Si suddenly felt despair. Then he rembered the scene of Xiang Xiaofang easily neutralizing the beads and realised that this beggar was quite strong. With that a plan appeared in his mind to save himself.
"Bother Xiang. I'm sorry for suddenly attacking you. I was sure that you will be able to block that attack easily and I needed to take these two by surprise. Hehe."
Gu Si then smiled a very insincere smile and continued with his bullshit.

The blade of the dagger lit up in a eerie green light but instead of attacking Xiang Xiaofang he aid his attack toward Elena or rather toward Lin Yun.
After all this ti, he would be a fool to not understand that Xiang Xiaofang was incredibly strong. So even with his powerful dagger, his chance of hurting him was not very high.
So he decided to take hostage of the person who looked to be the weakest, and in his inexperienced eyes, he judged the only female to be the weakest. And that's how he made the biggest mistake of his whole life.
Suddenly a divine presence filled the whole city and the sky above the city got covered in pitch black clouds in no ti. Elena and the gang were not sure where to go next. They were planning to think about it calmly and slowly while staying in the Golden Basin city, but as now their plan was foiled, they had to think of sothing while being on the road.
After thinking about it for a few seconds, Elena decided to go to the Wind Clover City which was the biggest city close to the Golden Basin city. They needed a small break before starting their journey once more. So they decided to spend a week or so in the Wind Clover City before starting the final phase of their journey targeting the national capital.
With that decided, they quickly went toward the north eastern direction, where the Wind Clover City was located. It would take them only 1 days to reach that city in full speed but as Elena did not plan to make haste, they planned to reach the city within three days at the latest.
This Wind Clover City was famous for its beautiful natural scenery and tastiest vegetables, so Elena was very excited to try them for herself. So, she was looking forward to going to the Wind Clover City.
