After the flash of light Elena found herself inside a white space. Soon a sowhat emotionless and cold voice sounded -
"Welco challenger to the first trial, which is the trial of combat. Here you need to fight against many opponents to show your talent in the field of combat. There will be several stages with different numbers of opponents and with opponents with different realms. The more stages you can clear, the better reward you will be able to get. Best of luck."
As soon as the announcent ended five soldiers made of light appeared before Elena. They all were in the elentary cultivation rank and were just a little bit lower level than Elena's disguised power level.
While dodging all the attacks thrown at her Elena thought about how she should perform in this trial. Doing too well would be bad for her objective and doing bad was sothing Elena hated. So first to make up her mind Elena checked the detailed information about the trial using her abilities.
She found out that her results would not be announced to the public by the trial ground itself. Elena would get so proofs that would allow her to prove her accomplishnts in the trial ground so it was fine to do her best and then reveal only as much as she felt comfortable with. So Elena decided to do her best.
The first few stages of the first trial were quite easy and Elena was able to win without much effort. But after the fifth stage it got a bit challenging. The opponents beca stronger and their numbers also increased. This was the mont when many disciples would not be able to hold on.
But these levels were still no problem for Elena. To not cheat in this trial, Elena had very strictly restricted her powers to the level of an ordinary elentary cultivator and the skills she had access to were also sothing that a normal elentary cultivator would know. So Elena was trying to overco the trials just using her combat experience and nothing more.
After the tenth stage the difficulty of the trial increased once more. The opponent's realm reached the peak of elentary cultivators and they started to use combat formations. These stages were genuinely hard and Elena believed that not many would be able to reach up to this stage.
From the fifteenth stage the realm of the light soldiers reached the early stage interdiate rank. Elena was quite sure that none of the elentary disciples from the two organisations would be able to reach this stage. But Elena was still doing fine without feeling much pressure.
She went on clearing one stage after another and soon the whole trail ended when she managed to defeat an advanced rank disciple at the thirtieth stage. The cold voice announced her to be the first challenger to clear the first trial of combat perfectly. Then she was given the reward for clearing this stage.
First she got a rare tal that could only be found in the divine realm. It was not a very strong material for a super strong person, but for an elentary rank cultivator, it was definitely a divine tal.
Next, she got five pills. All those pills would be considered to be supre treasure by not only an elentary rank cultivator but also by interdiate rank ones. They could increase a cultivator's level easily and could also give a boost to their potential.
Then as her third and last prize Elena got a special token. It was called the Serene Mountain token. It allowed her to enter a special cultivation ground that could allow a person to boost their cultivation speed rapidly and that person would be able to get twice the result with half the effort. All in all, the rewards were quite good for clearing this stage. Any elentary practitioner would be over the moon after getting them.

So after taking her rewards Elena was teleported to the second trail. It was still the sa white room but there was a large rock in the center of the room. The voice once again announced -
"The stone in front of you is called "Thousand Sutra Divine Stelae". A very intricate technique is written on it which can create several other techniques. In this second trial which is also known as the trial of comprehension, you need to understand the technique written on the stelae and then you have to use that technique to create a new technique of your own. Your created technique will be judged by the trail ground and a score will be given to you. The better your score is, the better rewards you will get. Best of luck, challenger."
So, in the second trial, the comprehension of a person was checked. It was a very important thing for any one as having good comprehension was a must to learn techniques quickly and to get better at any skills.
But Elena was slightly troubled as she had no way to restrict herself in this round. Her comprehension had always been super good and even when she was a normal person on earth, Elena's natural comprehension level was higher than most if not all. She had never taken an IQ test but her parents always believed her IQ to be at least over 200, which was quite insane.
So Elena did not overcomplicate things and just created a decent new technique by using the written technique as the best and obviously her technique got the full score. She was once again given several pills and this ti they mostly helped in calming the mind and in strengthening the soul.
Other than that she also got a cultivation mat that can increase the speed of cultivation and a jade called Clear Sky Jade that can defend against one Saint rank attack. It was quite a high valued gift for an elentary rank cultivator.

In the space for the third trial was still that white room. Now Elena was pretty sure that all the trials would take place in this sa type of room. This ti though there was nothing unusual in the room but the whole space was filled to the brim with elental energy.
The cold and emotionless voice announced again -
"The third trial is called the trial of control. In this trial you need to control the elental energies around you to perform several tasks to see how well you can control the elental energies. This elental energy is the core of a cultivator, so having better control over it is a must for all cultivators."
The third trial was quite straightforward as one one needed to control the elental energies around them to create a three dinsional structure. The more complex the structure is the better points one could gain. And one could just use the type of elental energies that were best at. So it gave everyone an equal chance to overco this trial.
But this trial gave a lot of focus to talent. To be honest, how much better a person could control the elental energies mostly depended on that person's innate talent. Practice could improve it a bit but an untalented person could practice for all his life but still he would not be able to reach the level of a talented person who just practiced a little bit in his free ti. That's just how big the gap between the talent of a normal person and a genius was.
When Elena just transmigrated she had checked her talents. She was quite talented with light, thunder, fire and wind but her talent for other elents was just good but not exceptional. Elena was definitely a top tier genius, but with her hard work she was able to co very very far. After all her evolution, now if her talent in this regard was asured then the result would be imasurable.

This lady had a mature vibe around herself and had a serene smile on her face. This model looked so real that it almost ca to life. At that mont the whole white room started to shake and the cold and emotionless voice sounded again. But this ti it was not emotionless but the emotion of bewildernt, fear and respect was evident in it.
"H-how can this be ? How do you know about master's looks ? Who are you ?"
This trial ground was actually sentient and it had a spirit. And now this spirit was very bewildered as for why this seemingly insignificant elentary rank practitioner knew her master. So it could not help but ask. But in answer Elena said -
"I will tell you about that later. Now focus on the trials. Give a score for this trial and take to the next one. We will have a lot of ti to talk about other stuff but for now let's focus on the trials."
Hearing that the trial spirit had no other way but to continue with the trials even though it was almost dying with curiosity as for why this person knew her master.
And just like that Elena's trials continued.
