The group of disciples belonging to the Erald Palace sect left the location of the trial grounds the next day. All of them boarded the flying ship once more to make the journey back.
It was quite a successful expedition as many students were able to gather a decent amount of treasure of good quality. Not only that but fortunately they did not co to blows with the Sky Parade Academy for anything, which was another great thing.
While boarding the flying ship many disciples noticed sothing odd. And that was their sect's young master Kuang Zenshi. Normally he would already be acting like his normal arrogant self and would insult everyone left and right. But today he seed to be reserved and even a bit fearful of sothing.
That was definitely an abnormal situation and the other elders tried to ask him if he was facing any problems but young master Kuang refused to say anything. Other than him, one another person was acting weirdly and that was elder Shun Feng. He seed to have so kind of ntal breakdown for so reason and was in an agitated state of mind. His current ntal state was not suitable to be close to any other person, so for that reason, he was told to stay in a room by other elders for the duration of this journey.
Even though sothing weird like this happened, their journey back was still very safe. For the entire duration of the journey, Elena and her other elder sisters spent their ti by either discussing about cultivation or by gossiping about various topics.
The current hot topic among the disciples was the sudden change in the young sect master and elder Shun. As they were talking about this incident, suddenly Suddenly Taoluan thought of sothing and asked -
"Now that I think about it, junier sister Lu didn't you have a fight with the elder Shun and the young sect master ?"
"It was not serious enough to call a fight but yes, we did have so disagreent between us."
"Hehe, what a coincidence. Just when they tried to go against our junior sister, they received so kind of punishnt from the heavens."
Even though both young master Kuang and elder Shun had so disagreent with Lu Kao but no one suspected that the person behind the changes of those two was actually her for obvious reasons. She was only an elentary rank practitioner, so there was no way for her to affect cultivators of the higher rank at all, so Lu Kao was thought to be just especially lucky.

After all those things happened, they were still able to reach the Erald Palace sect safely. After returning back to the sect, Elena and her fellow elder sisters imdiately went to elder Cao Ruyan to tell her about their results.
All of them wanted to get the best possible reward from the sect and also wanted to complain about the injustices that suffered because of the presence of the young sect master. The only person who could hear them out and even could even demand compensation for all that was their master, so all the girls told her everything to vent the irritated feeling in their heart. Cao Ruyan was like their mother and she calmly heard everyone out.
Elena also did the sa and told elder Cao Ruyan everything. She even ntioned that she had rejected the young sect master's and elder Shun's offer to beco the young sect master's servant. Cao Ruyan was very satisfied with Lu's performance. She was an intelligent girl but was also very hard working. So she elder Cao was extrely happy with Lu Kao.
"Disciple Lu, I'm very satisfied with your performance in the expedition. So as a little reward, I'm willing to make you my personal disciple imdiately. Are you willing ?"
Hearing that Elena calmly nodded her head. She had already expected sothing like this to happen so she excepted it easily. Her other senior sisters congratulated her for officially becoming their junior sister. All of them had beco very fond of Lu Kao in the ti that they spent together in the expedition, so they were genuinely happy to she her success.

On the other side, a few high ranking elders and the sect master himself were having an important eting. After returning to the sect, young master Kuang Zenshi got so of his lost confidence back and was able to tell his father about the weird dream that he had recently.
The higher ups of the Erald Palace Sect also heard sothing similar from elder Shun Feng. Even though the type of torture they faced was different, both of them were sohow tortured in their dreams, which was not sothing they could ignore.
But they were powerless in this matter as they had absolutely no idea about what had happened to them. So at most they could only try to give the victims extra protections.

The next day, Elena and her fellow senior sisters were called to elder Cao Ruyan's house to let them know about the result. Elder Cao was not completely satisfied with what compensations were given to her disciples, but the sect master and other higher ups were adamant about not giving anything anymore. So she had no other choice but to back down.
But still the rewards and compensation she managed to get were quite good. So all her disciples were satisfied with it and thanked their teachers for always supporting them. That knew that without their teachers support they would not be able to get anything from the sect. So they were very grateful to her.
Elena was currently finalizing her plans to leave the sect in a good note. She did not intend to just give the gifts and vanish. So she was creating a proper scenario where she would be able to leave the sect freely with the identity of Lu Kao intact. So she was not much interested in the rewards, as she planned to give those senior sisters better gifts anyways. Then all of them returned back to their residence.
Elena was given an offer to move to a better residence after she beca a true personal disciple of an elder, but she was quite happy with the location of her current residence and the other available properties were not to her liking, so she decided to stay in the sa place for the remaining few days.
She was planning to start playing her scenario after two or three more days and now she was just waiting patiently for that day to co.
