The great desert of Araba was an extrely large area that covered thousands of miles of area. This was a region which was completely filled with sand and nothing else. As long as one's eyes could see, they would only be able to see a sea of sand. There were so areas that were made of rocks but trees were almost non-existent in this place.
This desert took up a large area but this place had no kingdoms. As this place was extrely hard to navigate, it was almost impossible to create a kingdom with several cities in this place. That did not an that this place did not have any authoritative figures here. But instead of ruling over a nation, they all ruled over a single city or a village.
This great desert of Araba had scattered civilizations. There were hundreds of small villages and a few cities. A city could only be built if there was a consistent source of water close to it. So almost all the cities were located close to an oasis.
The distance between two oases was quite large and the desert was a very dangerous place to traverse, for that reason there was very little connection between two cities. So the person who could take the leader's position in a city would also be able to rule over that place without any obstructions.
The race of people lived in this desert area were mostly dwarves. Their body was specially resistant against hot weather and the desert had quite a few rare mineral vines too, so all in all this desert was a very good for them and their interest.
Other than the dwarves, elves also lived in this desert but their numbers were overwhelmingly low if compared to dwarves. The species of elves living here were simply called the desert elves. They had a darker skin colour and unlike most other elves their magic was not very strong. Instead most of them were very gifted physically and were capable of performing tasks that needed superhuman strength.

Elena was currently looking at a dwarvian city called Astatos from a distance. As for why she was doing that was because she was in a dilemma. Currently Elena was in her elvin form and she looked like a fare skinned elf which was very rare in this part of the world as outsiders almost never visited this region.
Not only that but elves and dwarves had a very bad relationship. It was worse than the relationship between cats and dogs. Elena would not only attract attention in her current form, she was not sure if she would even be allowed inside the city in her elvin form or not. There was a very high chance that they would just reject Elena's entry after seeing that she was an elf.
But Elena really wanted to visit a dwarvian city and to enjoy it to its fullest. So, the best thod to do that was to transform herself in the form of a dwarf. But Elena was not looking forward to doing that for several reasons.
First of all, Elena was a talk woman and she was very comfortable with it. But the main indicating factor of a dwarf was their height which was very short. Even the tallest of dwarves were only at most 1.5 to 1.6 ters tall and that was an anomaly. The average height of a dwarf was about 1.2-1.3 ters.
That was a height Elena was not comfortable with. Female dwarves almost looked like humans except their ears were just a little bit pointy at the end. It was nowhere near pointy enough like elves but still it was possible to differentiate between a short human and a dwarf using that.
So aesthetically Elena was fine with being a dwarf but she was really uncomfortable with the height. But after brooding over it for so ti Elena's wish for visiting a dwarvian city won out and she finally made up her mind to transform into a dwarf.
Actually all Elena needed to do was to beco a loli and she would be a dwarf who were mostly just legal lolis. So Elena took on the form of her younger self when she was 11 years old. Now instead of looking like a dependable older sister, Elena was looking like a super cute little sister who could overwhelm anyone with her cuteness.
As soon as Elena transford into her loli form, the whole world started to shake. Lya imdiately used her authority as a supre goddess to temporarily halt the ti of the world for the ti being. If she did not make that move, a lot of people would have started panicking.
As for the reason behind this disaster, it was obviously Elena. When she transford into her loli form, the goddesses watching her suddenly got a heart attack as Elena was just way too cute. And the gap moe of always mature and dependable Elena looking so small and cute was too much for them to bear. So almost all the gods suddenly died and the world was facing a calamity. This was truly a cuteness that could literally shake the whole world.
Seeing this happening, Elena also started assisting Lya in maintaining the ti stop state. They could not lift the ti stop until all the incapacitate gods were back in their working form. So after Elena was done with stabilizing the ti stop she started to scold all the gods who ssed up one by one.
The first one who was scolded was none other than Asteria herself. Yes, even the almighty supre goddess herself was overwheld by the cuteness of loli Elena and lost the control over her authorities. After scolding Asteria for so ti she then started to scold the superior goddesses followed by the high ones.
But even with all that the situation did not calm down for quite so ti. And the person responsible for this was once again Elena who was scolding all the goddesses in her loli form. So instead of listening to her scolding seriously, all of them were too busy admiring how cute Elena looked when she was angry and those useless goddesses even started a debate about when little Elena looked the cutest, was it when she was seriously working to maintain the ti stop or when she was angrily scolding them.
Elena was dazed seeing how useless these competent goddesses suddenly beca and she got a bit physical and bonked everyone on their heads to calm them down. Only then they were able to focus back on their work and the situation ca under control. That's how the world escaped a disaster.
