Elena asked Katerina to give her a price first. After thinking about it for a few monts, Katerina decided on a price that was slightly on the higher side. Katerina was not really too well versed in negotiations and things like that but her family had made sure to teach her the very basics. So Katerina was aware that starting the negotiations with a high price was advantageous but giving too high of a price was not good.
So Katerina told Elena the price of 250 million R and waited for Elena to bring the price down. This was completely within her expectations. But what Katerina had not expected was the step that Elena took next. Hearing the price of 250 million, Elena nodded her head with a carefree expression and replied
"Fine then. For this beautiful house, 250 million is too low. So I will pay you 300 million R and also a free chance to fight and Tomoe. So I hope this deal is now final ?"
As soon as Elena said this, everyone inside the room beca dumbstruck. Nave was about to drink the tea that she was served but after hearing what Elena said, her almost started choking on the tea. The maid Greta was also also about to replenish the plate of sweets that Elena had eaten clean but after listening to Elena, even an expert maid like her was unable to keep her cool. The bag of sweets that she took out fell from her hand. At the last mont, Elena caught them and prevented the sweets from getting wasted.
As for Katerina, she almost lost her mind when Elena told her that she was going to pay 300 million for the house. One had to know that, the price of 250 million that she had initially asked for was already quite high. Katerina was expecting this house to be sold for about 180 million or sothing close to that. But at the last mont, he heart stopped her as she felt like selling this house to Elena for such a high price was bad and dishonest so she stopped her muscle brained head from imdiately agreeing.
Then both Katerina and Nave started to tell Elena about how she did not need to spend this much money for this house. Even though Nave was a bit of an airhead, she was very good at her job. She was imdiately able to guess the proper price of the house which was 180 million. Even Katerina told her that she would be willing to sell the house for that amount if the deal of the fights was still there. This way the maid Greta witnessed a rare scene where the seller of a property was trying to stop the buyer from spending more. After a lot of discussion, Elena agreed to buy the house with the amount that Katerina had first said and the extra gift of two S rank opponents was also there.
After completing the deal, Elena and Katerina both signed the contract. Elena paid her 100 million in advance and the rest would be paid at the ti for the handover. Obviously it was impossible for Katerina to imdiately hand over the house as she needed to take things away and clear it out. So she asked for two weeks ti and Elena was happy to give Katerina that ti.
Then it was ti for the most important thing to happen that Katerina was anticipating. It was for the battle. As her first opponent, Katerina decided to choose Elena. She felt like Elena was way stronger than her. Sk fighting her first would be a learning experience. So after growing from that experience, she would be able to fight Tomoe with more confidence as she felt like the difference between the two of them was not much.

So Katerina escorted Elena and Tomoe to an underground fighting arena. It was a personal space where Katerina always trained. This place had a powerful barrier that was made by an item created by the vampire queen herself. So the barrier here was capable of withstanding Katerina's powers without any problem.
When the maids learnt that their master was about to fight another S ranker, many of them gathered to watch the match. It was rare that they were able to witness a match between the peak powerhouses of the nation so they were extrely excited. Katerina did ask for Elena's permission first before allowing everyone to watch the battle as not all S rankers were comfortable with fighting before a lot of people and revealing all their trump cards. But Elena was perfectly fine with that.
Then both of the combatants took to the stage. They faced off against each other and got ready to fight. For this battle Elena was planning to use a weapon that she very rarely used even though she was a big fan of this weapon. The weapon in question was a bow. Seeing Elena taking out a bow, Tomoe beca interested as this was a weapon that she had never seen Elena using before.
As for Katerina, she equipped a pair of white gauntlets and greaves. It looked like she did not fight with any weapons and instead used her powerful punches and kicks to fight. After equipping both of her weapons, Katerina took a martial arts pose and got ready for the fight.
Elena was the one who started the fight. She drew her bow and an arrow made out of mana appeared on the bow string. Then she released that arrow toward Katerina. This was a very simple attack that did not look threatening at all. Even for the spectators, the arrow was moving particularly fast. So they thought that this was just a probing attack by Elena to judge the opponents strength at the start of the battle.
But that was not what Katerina felt. At first she wanted to clash with the arrow head on following her battle maniac tendencies but then her instincts told her that would be a very bad idea. So next she wanted to dodge the arrow by moving out of its way but to her horror Katerina realised that even that was not possible. No matter the way she was planning to move, the threat of the arrow did not go down a single bit. So this arrow was definitely going to track her no matter which way she went.
Katerina had never felt this weak in her whole life. The battle had not even fully started but she had already lost. Just this one simple attack by Elena made her feel like giving up. But at the thought of giving up, a massive amount of disgust appeared in her heart. Imdiately Katerina recovered from her depressed feeling and decided to go with her first option. To clash with the arrow head on. This way she would be able to stay true to her heart and would not even regret it if this decision took her life.
So what would be the result of this clash ?
