After the supre protector surrender, both sides finally stopped fighting. rcus was a bit dissatisfied as he was unable to finish his battle with the cursed sword demon but still he was happy about this massive victory for his side. But this was not the end of everything and he still needed to ask the supre protector many questions and needed to get the stone tablet for Alessia.
So he quickly arranged a eting room and brought both of the S rankers from the opposite side there. Then he invited Alessia and the other mbers of the Azure Legion. If they had any questions they could ask the two defeated S rankers. rcus had already collected the stone tablet from the Cross of Ferocity's warehouse and had handed it over to Alessia.
Shia and Nina checked it had found that the description given by the quest giver completely matched this item. So their was no doubt that this stone tablet was definitely what they were searching for. With her expertise, Shia had also managed to found so clues that indicated that this item was sothing that was created by a human artisan and not a demonic one.
With the stone tablet in their hands now, Alessia was very relaxed. She was not really interested in knowing more about it but not everyone in her team was like her. Shia was quite interested in knowing the history of the stone tablet and Nina was also interested in it as it was stolen during the ti of the human demon war.
So to fulfill their friends' curiosity, even though Alessia and Marina were not interested in it, they also visited the eting room. Other than them the last person to join them was obviously Elena. After taking care of the legendary powerhouse very easily, she had suddenly disappeared. But when the ladies were getting ready to visit the two S rankers, she had again appeared just as suddenly and had joined the ladies.

As both the supre protector and the cursed sword demon were S rank powerhouses, they were not treated like prisoners and were treated more like a guest they needed to cautious about. This was the honour that every S ranker deserved. They were also very cooperative and did not acted all high and mighty, so the whole process of getting them inside the eting room was extrely smooth.
At first, after seeing rcus and Alessia, the supre protector and the cursed sword demon were quite calm. But as soon as they saw Elena behind them, the supre protector started sweating and the cursed sword demon crossed his legs and grabbed his balls. The scene of Elena smashing the balls of Aktao had traumatized him a little bit.
Seeing their reaction, Elena smiled a little bit and told them that they should not worry and she was not planning to do anything to them. Hearing that they relaxed a little bit but then Elena again added that it would be true only if they answered all the questions without lying, which made the two n tensed again and Elena started laughing loudly.
After having a bit of a fun teasing the two fully grown n, finally it was ti for the question answering session. It was decided that Shia would be asking the question as in the Azure Legion, she was the best suited person for this particular job.
The question her team needed the answer to was about the stone tablet but that was not the first question that Shia asked them. Instead she asked the Supre Protector about how he ca to know the legendary rank powerhouse. This was the question she was most curious about.
As the cursed sword demon had no idea about even the existence of that man, the supre protector had to answer this. He did not hide anything and told the ladies about his encounter with this man. It turned out that Aktao was the one who had ca to him first with a proposition to work together.
Even with a city lord who was easily to get along with, after the devestation that the Cross of Ferocity had suffered, the Supre Protector had no intention to beco active anyti soon. In their heyday, the Cross of Ferocity had four S rank powerhouses, each representing one point of a cross mark. But now, they only had two S rankers left.
Other than the Supre Protector, the Cursed sword demon was actually quite weak for a S ranker. This surprised rcus and he interrupted the Supre Protector between his speech. According to rcus' judgent, even though the Cursed Sword demon was slightly weaker than himself, his strength was not much different from himself or the supre protector. So rcus was very surprised that the Supre Protector called him weak for a S ranker as that was definitely not the case.
Hearing this objection, the supre protector sighed and told them that rcus had a special ability that allowed him to recover from curse related injuries extrely quickly. That was the reason why he was using so many cursed item which was extrely dangerous.
So his strong state was actually just an illusion that the Cursed Sword Demon maintained while straining his body with many curses. But this was not a very sustainable way of fighting as he could not always maintain this state and he also needed to rest for a long period of ti after each battle. That was the reason why he only appeared when the Cross of Ferocity was in grave danger.
There were also many ways to get rid of his boosts and without them this man would really be too weak for the S ranks. So for all this reason, the supre protector had no plans to suddenly beco active. But the legendary powerhouse who secretly ca to et him wanted to use his organisation to break the seal of the blood pool and to release the baleful aura of that place to the outside world.
When the Supre Protector tried to refuse this offer, he was threatened and was told that his life would be in danger if he did not work for that man. So the supre protector actually had no way but to beco active. But it turned out to be a very good decision as with a legendary powerhouse supporting them from the shadows, the Cross was able to grow very quickly. That was the full story of how the Supre Protector and Aktao started working together. It looked like, Aktao just wanted a convenient pawn and the Cross of Ferocity was an ideal candidate.
After learning about this story, Shia then asked her next question and this session continued.
