As the finishing move of the large man ca toward Elena, the shadow of death enveloped her from all sides. This attack was extrely powerful and Elena could not find any ways to dodge this. From what her Eye of Truth was able to see, if she died from this attack, she would not be able to even resurrect.
But even in the face of certain death, Elena remained composed. She knew that killing her opponent once would not be enough and she was ready for the current situation. She just needed to survive this attack sohow and then she would be able to put her plans in motion. Elena was not sure if her plans were enough to give her the victory or not but she still needed to try it out.
But before that she first needed to survive this attack without dying. In case of the previous attack, Elena knew that she would be able to revive from that. So she had not put her all in defending herself from that attack. But in this case, she was going to do her best and used using all her defensive ans.
First she used a skill called "Partial Limit Break". While activating the Last Stand at the World's End, she had already activated her own limit break skill but the Partial Limit Break was a bit different. Instead of boosting all the stats, this skill focused on boosting a single stat of Elena's choice. And this ti she decided to boost her VIT as much as she could.
As the concept magjc was not very effective on her opponent, Elena knew that her concept magjc barriers would be useless against this attack. So alongside the concept magic barriers, she used a defensive sword art, "Solace and Regret", which was boosted by the Last Stand at the World's End and also used various shield arts. Elena was not really very good with shields but in this situation even the smallest things helped.
This was the strongest defense that Elena could prepared. But still she would need the help of the fate to survive this attack. But Elena was not worried about that. That was because Elena was able to feel herself getting stronger with ti. Her luck was also reaching the peak.
As for the reason behind this, it was her title of "World Avenger". When Elena died, a part of her mini world was also destroyed by that attack. Elena had made sure that no life form was present in that part but still it was major loss and Elena would need a lot of resource and ti to recover from this.
But this also activated her World Avenger title. Now that Elena was not only fighting as a protector but also as an avenger, she was at her strongest. The World Avenger title gave her the ability to learn the thought of her opponent. Her luck improved massively and her opponent's luck went down. But most importantly, it was continuously giving her temporary power boost to match her mighty opponent.
But this whole process would take so ti. That was why it was very important for Elena to survive this attack. As after this, she should be able to match the man opposite to her sowhat. With all the preparations made, Elena clashed with the attack.
The [AUTHORITY OF THE GOD KING: THE END OF ALL BEGINNING] was not a very flashy move. It was just a pitch black light. But anything that ca in its way reached its end imdiately, including space, ti and fate.
Even after all the preparations that Elena had made, as soon as the light touched her defenses, they imdiately started to break. Actually they did not actually break but just ceased to exist. If the large man used his previous God King's Severance again, that attack would have stopped by now. But against the AUTHORITY OF THE GOD KING, her defenses were useless.
Elena was a bit surprised by the strength of the attack but still it was just slightly above her expectation. So she still had a chance of survival. Elena had done everything she could and now she could just greet her teeth and hold on. As soon as the attack connected with her Solace and Regret, Elena felt her whole existence getting erased.
But obviously, her existence as the savior of many world's was not sothing that could be erased so easily. She had already beca an important part of this universe so the effect of the AUTHORITY was resisted by the universe itself.
This was a mistake that the large man had made. THE AUTHORITY OF THE GOD KING: THE END OF ALL BEGINNING was an extre attack that could bring an end to all things by completely erasing their existence. But now she needed to take care of this man first. Even though she had managed to survive his finishing move, the man was nowhere near done. So it did not look like this battle was going to end anyti soon.
The large man lost his mind after seeing that the lady was able to survive his AUTHORITY OF GOD KING series' strongest move, THE END OF ALL BEGINNING. He was unable to believe that but the reality was just before his eyes. This made the man mad and he beca even more eager to kill Elena as soon as he could. He was having a very bad premotion which made him scared for the first ti in a very very long ti.
He again used another Supre Art called "Twisting Heaven and Hell". This was a spear art and was slightly stronger than his God King's Severance. But to the large man's utter surprise, this ti Elena casually blocked attack with just her feet, which sudden had a pair of greaves on them.
As now Elena had reached the sa level of power as this man temporarily, she could now regenerate her arms but the speed of regeneration was incredibly slower. So while countering the man with her leg related martial arts, she waited for her regeneration to finish. She still had a last card to play before she could ensure her victory.
