After returning back to the village, Coleda imdiately inford the guards about this incident. The guards were also extrely surprised by this and imdiately went to tell the village head and elders about this. Many of the village's children regularly went to that forest, so this matter was of the highest importance.
The elders also took this matter seriously and called for a eting to solve this situation. Elena was also asked to join the eting as she was an important observer of this troubleso situation.
At the start of the eting, Elena was asked about her encounter with the monster in question. In reply, Elena dropped a bomb. It was not just that one wolf monster she had encountered in the forest. She had found several dozen more and had killed all of them throughout the whole morning. But only that wolf monster was C rank and all the other ones were D rank.
Elena also took out the body parts of the monsters for the elders to see. After seeing them and making sure that they really were the body parts of the monsters which could be seen in this forest, they all beca worried about this phenonon. As Elena was a S rank powerhouse, she had no reason to lie to them. So they mostly believed in her.
As all of them had observed the forest for many many years, they were extrely familiar with how it acted. They had done a thorough hunting of the forest monsters just one day ago. So according to their understanding, new batch of monsters should only appear after at least three days.
So of the elders asked a barly man if the hunting team had missed a few monsters with their slacking or not but the burly man who was the leader of the village guards insisted that they were as cautious as always and had even used a powerful magic item to make sure the forest was completely free of monsters.
As the elders started to argue about the situation, Elena cleared her throat lightly and attracted everyones attention. She was already quite famous in the village because of how beautiful she was and the fact that she was a S rank powerhouse. So anything she said always held a lot of value.
Elena started to tell them about her speculation. As Elena was quite interested in the special situation of the forest, she had used her broken sensing skills to find the real reason. But as Elena had been in this village for just a single night, it was suspicious for her know so much. That was why Elena decided to tell the elders and the guard captain the unknown truth behind the forest while telling that it was all just her speculations.
The man who had wiped out the monster overlord of the forest was definitely a demigod. Elena had rested the night in the village but at the breaking of dawn, she had went to the forest to practice the control of her power.
As Elena was a very accomplished martial artist, she had decided to pratice her martial arts regularly in order to get her control back. As at the end of the day, a weapon was not a part of her body, she could not be sure that she would be able to control her output with one in her current condition. So as she had better control over her own body, Elena had decided to start her training with her bare hands and then later on she was planning to move to weapons.
As many n and won of the village wanted to establish a good relationship with her, they had told her quite a bit about the village and the surroundings, including the forest. So Elena was aware that this forest was not suppose to have any monsters at that ti.
But as soon as Elena had reached close to the forest, even without any of her sensing skills activated, she had managed to sense the presence of monsters. But as that ti was extrely early in the morning and most of the villagers were asleep, she had not inford the village about it and instead had started using those monster as a test subject for her strength training.
The C rank monster that had attacked Coleda had actually spawned just a few ters behind her location. That was the reason why Elena had not managed to prevent Coleda's encounter with this monster. As it was already ti for most of the villagers to wake up and no one else was inside the forest, she ca back to the village to inford the village heads about the incident while escorting the little girl.
She had used her sensing abilities to find the truth while she was on the way toward the village. She was able to imdiately understand what the visiting powerful person had done. What he had done was sothing only a demigod ranker was capable of doing and that was how Elena beca sure of the man's power level.
Monster mainly spawned in a mana rich area based on the presence of sothing called Chaos source. This Chaos Source was sothing that Lya had created as a chanism to turn the negative energies of the world into monsters.
The choas source was not sothing that anyone below the demigod rank could touch. And even for Demigods, they could get a very limited access to it. The demigod who had ca to this village had tried to tinker with the chaos source of this forest.
The chaos source of this forest was not very powerful as it could only support a single A rank monster to be born. So this demigod man was able to do a little tinkering and had managed to make the chaos source less active. He did not have the ability to harm the choas source in any way, but just making it less active was enough to prevent the birth of any B rank monsters or higher.
But the choas source also had a self repair function and after hundreds of years, it had started to recover. It was quite a coincidence that the recovery ti of the Chaos Source aligned so accurately with the appearance of Elena here. Without that, the villagers would only be aware of this phenonon after the deaths of a few villagers.
After Elena told the elders about the choas source, they were extrely surprised except for a lady with glasses. She was the best alchemist of the city and had a faint knowledge about the chaos sources. But all the remaining elders had absolutely no idea about it.
But insured of worrying about it, they next started to think about a solution to this problem. If what Elena said was true, then very soon this safe forest would again turn into a dangerous one with an A rank monster ruling it. Most of the inco of the village was dependent on the easy availability of the herbs of the forest. So with the forest becoming dangerous again, the supply of those herbs would go down and the village economy would take a massive hit.
Their village was on the verge of being recognised to be a town and the elders were ecstatic about it. But now it look like, that would not be the case anymore. As despair was covering the faces of the elder, Elena clapped her hands to attract their attention again and gave them a reassuring smile. Then she said that she might have a solution in mind for this problem.
So what would that solution be ?
