The person who ca in was a beautiful mature looking lady. She had fluffy pink hair, pink eyes and even her skin had a pinkish luster. She entered the portal with a slight smile on her face but as soon as she noticed the devestation inside, her faced turned into a surprised expression.
She looked around and saw that the person she had sent here as her proxy was unconscious on the ground and the whole area had traces of battle. But she could not think of any situation where the person she was eting and her proxy needed to fight.
While thinking about this ss, she looked at the two people who were still conscious in this place. She imdiately recognised one of them as the eldest daughter of Emperor Otrefiona, Azusa. So the other person should be Elena whom she was planning to et. She had no idea how this person had et the eldest daughter of the mad emperor but now was not the ti to think about that.
She greeted both Elena and Azusa lightly and then excused herself to check the fainted man. She was relieved to find Avretion unhard which made her even more curious about why he had fainted. She did not ask anyone any questions. Instead she put her hands on Avretion's head and started to go through his mories.
Elena was quite impressed by the technique this lady was using for reading the mory. Reading mory was not a very difficult thing but if anyone had ntal defenses, then reading that person's mory would beca a lot harder. Elena had a Genesis grade item capable of manipulating mory and a broken skill that could also be used for this purpose. But her own understanding in this field was very limited.
But that was not the case for this lady. From the way she used her technique, Elena judged that it was not a skill or ability, instead it was a technique that she had developed probably after years of research and practice. As Elena was thinking this, Azusa ca to her and whispered in her ears again -
"Big sis, you did not tell that the person you were going to et was madam Cody. I could have prepared a trump card if I was aware of this beforehand."
"Actually, I do not know who she was or what her na was. She is a related to an acquaintance of mine and he had set this eting up. This is my first ti seeing her."
Hearing this Azusa nodded her head and started to tell Elena a few things about this Madam Cody. It turned out that she was famous researcher who had made a na for herself by getting praised by the founder of the Truth Guild, "The Accessor". Her strength was also quite formidable and Azusa was not one hundred percent assured of her victory against her.
While Elena and Azusa were talking, Cody completed the process of going through all the mories of Avretion. Then she ca toward them and bowed her head to apologise. Avretion was a talented researcher and had just beca her subordinate. She did not know much about his personality. With the failed research, all the other subordinates of hers were extrely busy and only he was free as he was still new in the office. That was why she had given him the duty to hold the fort while she was busy. But Cody had no idea that this man would create such a ss.
Elena was not really very bothered with the situation and Azusa had also cald down after having a fight and seeing Avretion suddenly fainting. So both of them replied that everything was fine. Then Cody suddenly absorbed Avretion's body inside her own body and asked Elena and Azusa to sit down to start the discussion.

After all three of the ladies sat down, Cody went straight to the point. She directly started to tell Elena what she had managed to find out about the item she was searching for.
"After going through the archive of the truth guild, I have managed to find three items that could et the requirents you have. But all three of the items are a bit troubleso to get and I can only tell you about them for the ti being. If lady Elena is interested in any of them, the Truth Guild could help you in negotiations for those items. But we will also need a suitable paynt for this task."
After seeing Elena nodding to her words, Cody continued.
"The first item belonged to the leader of a middle grade Organisation called the "Solaris Society". The son of the leader was last seen holding this item. It can manifest different effects depending on the type of energy it was given. But this item has so major weaknesses. It can only manifest a single type of effect at any ti. After creating one effect, it will go into a cooldown for 12 hours that could not be refreshed with ti concept. During the cooldown, only the first effect can be used. So it's practical versatility was very limited."
After telling Elena this, Cody told her that the Solaris Society had a good relationship with the Truth Guild. So if Elena wanted, getting this item should not be too hard. Then she started to tell her about the second item.
"As for the second item, it is a mysterious item that belonged to a world's will. Normally world's will do not have the habit of having private properties but this world's will is a bit different. It had a hobby of collecting various items and it even used the world itself just as a ans of creating more interesting items."
After saying this much, she stopped and smiled a bit bitterly. Then she continued.
"This world's will is hard to deal with so getting this item from him would not be easy. Not only that but the information about this item is very limited and most of the information that we have was told to us by that will of the world. So we don't have any ans to verify it. As for getting the item from it, lady Elena will need to prepare an interesting item for which this will of the world will be willing to trade the items, which is going to be very troubleso."
After telling Elena this, Cody did not stop and continued speaking.
"Now for the third item, I think lady Elena will be very satisfied with it. This item belonged to a mber of the 12 Star Organisation. This item can transform depending on the nature of the holder. It do not have any major restrictions except for the effects being a little random in nature.
But the owner of this item regularly use this in battle. She is from a special race which has millions fragnted souls inside them. It is possible to activate this item through other ans but having millions of different nature is quite rare. So this item is perfectly suited for that race. So it will be extrely hard to get her agreent for exchanging this item."
After telling Elena this much, Cody handed her a gold card. This was sothing Elena could use to contact her. She also gave Elena an invitation card to visit her Branch of the truth guild. As for the first round of paynt, Elena tried to give her so research materials that Ompenhyner had told Elena his mother would like. At first Cody tried to reject it but Elena insisted and after seeing how high quality the research results were, she could not help herself from accepting it. She asked Elena to think about which one of these items she wanted and to contact her after making a decision.
Just like that, the eting ca to an end without a single input but so light greeting from Azusa.
