As Elena was talking with more people to learn more about this mysterious fox, suddenly several fully ard soldiers ca toward her. They were holding lightning bolt shaped spears in their hands which were actually of a very good quality.
After coming to Elena, they surrounded her from all sides. Seeing this, the people who were in the area started to look at what was happening with curiosity.
Even when she was surrounded by soldiers, Elena did not show any expression of fear or worry. She just continued to smile slightly which made the expression of the soldiers to be even more grave.
One of the soldier was wearing a more luxurious armour than the rest and it looked like he was the leader of this group. While tightly gripping his spear, he started questioning Elena.
"Miss, you must be soone from the outside of this island but we have no entry record for you. Can you explain yourself ?"
Hearing the question, Elena continued to smile sweetly and answered -
"I'm sorry brave soldier. I ca to this island from the eastern side. I did not know that I needed to record myself before entering the island. I'm sorry for the trouble."
Seeing that Elena was cooperative, the head soldier lightly sighed in relief. He could feel that this lady was exceptionally strong so if she beca hostile, then that would be a big trouble. That was why he was relieved that they did not ended up fighting each other.
Then he asked Elena to co with him to resister herself in the dock as an outsider. As Elena had no reason to not resister herself, she obediently followed behind him. This process was easy, simple and straightforward, so Elena was done in just a few minutes. After that, that the soldiers stopped being hostile toward her and welcod her to their island with open arms.
Taking advantage of this, Elena started to ask them various questions about the mysterious fox. Coincidentally, it turned out that this group of soldiers were the sa one who were investigating the matter about the fox spirit, so they had the lastest and the most accurate information.
From them Elena ca to know that even though they had not managed to find any traces of this fox or the fox like being, they had many reasons to believe that this was not just an illusion. Firstly, there were many people who had witnessed it and so of those people were quite powerful to be suddenly hallucinating.
But still as they had not managed to find evidence, needlessly worrying the inhabitants of the island about an unknown entity was not good. That was why he had declared this fox to be fake.
Hearing this, Elena beca even more curious. She then asked the soldiers about more details and the areas where this fox had appeared according to the witness.
The soldiers had already heard that this beautiful lady here was investigating the mysterious fox, so they were not surprised by her questions. They would also be grateful to Elena if she could help them out with this troubleso case. So they did not hide anything and told Elena everything that they knew about this fox.

After gathering all the information from the soldiers, Elena started to climb the tall mountain. But as this mountain had perfectly maintained stairs, the climb was very straight forward. As for where she was going, it was actually toward the top of the mountain.
At the very top of the mountain, there existed a small shrine like structure. In that shrine, a girl called the Divine maiden lived. This divine maiden have the blessing of the Goddess of Thunder and she was reason why the thunder never destroyed the mountain. That lady was the one Elena was planning to et.
As for the reason why Elena wanted to et the Divine maiden, that was because she had the ability to observe the whole island at once. The soldiers had also asked her help in this investigation but even after checking every nook and cranny of the island, the divine maiden had not managed to find anything.
But there was a possibility that the fox in question had just left the island at that mont either by coincidence or by sohow sensing that it was going to be investigated. Hearing this, Elena told the head soldier that she had so skills that could interfere with the senses of the fox and hearing that the head soldier imdiately gave her a token to et with the shrine maiden.
While going toward the top of the mountain, Elena did not forget to enjoy the beautiful scenery. She imdiately planned to ask the creator of this area if this place was real or not. If it was real, then she would love to visit it in real life.
Not long after, Elena managed to reach the top of the mountain. The bottom of the mountain had very few houses and the top had even less. Only the middle portion of the mountain was filled with many houses. It was like this because, the Lightning Phantom demons were capable of absorbing lightning better the closer they were to the source. But getting too close would make them overloaded which was also not a good thing. This was the reason why the middle of the mountain was the perfect place for them to live.
The top of the mountain only had a single shrine. Two soldiers who were several tis stronger than the soldiers below were guarding this place. They looked at Elena with suspicion but when she showed them the tokem given by the head soldier , their suspicion vanished and they allowed her to enter the shrine.
This made Elena quite a bit surprised. The security of this island looked quite lax. As she went further inside the shrine, soon she went inside so kind of barrier. This surprised Elena as she had not noticed this barrier with her current lowered abilities. That proved that this barrier was extrely powerful, capable of isolating soone from the senses of a level 600 powerhouse.
Inside the barrier, Elena sensed the presence of an extrely powerful being, at level 606. It was little girl with a single horn made of purple lightning at the middle of her head. Her while body was filled the the purple pattern that Elena had seen on the faces of other phantom demons.
Just as Elena got closer to the girl, a katana like sword made of purple lightning appeared in the little girl's hand. Then without any warning or word, she swang it toward Elena with her killing intent locking into Elena.
