After eting up with Debrone, Elena and him left the city from a secret entrance that the Loktivenny family controlled. Debrone did not want the other two overlords to know that he was going out. That was the reason why they had to use the hidden secret passage to go out.
After successfully getting out of the city without letting anyone know, Elena and Debrone started travelling with the help of a spatial artifact. This artifact allowed Debrone to continuously use short distance teleportation again and again. This way they were able to travel at an extrely fast rate.
Even with that fast pace, Elena and Debrone still needed to travel continuously for several hours before they could reach the destination. After reaching the location, Debrone fell on the ground and started to take deep breaths. As a warrior, he did not have much mana. So after using this high consumption artifact for quite so ti, he felt extrely tired.
Normally Elena would have helped him with healing and mana recovery magic. But with her current personality, she did not imdiately help him out. First she scolded him for being stupid and irresponsible. Only after that, she helped him by sharing so of her mana with him while looking at him as if he was a pitiful worm.
With Elena's help and his own mana potions, Debrone was able to recover in a very short amount of ti. Then they finally stepped foot in the danger zone.

According to Debrone, the danger zone where they were going was called Latvik Plains. This area was not a danger zone because of the presence of powerful monsters or harsh environnts, but instead because a very troubleso race that lived here.
This race was called Usum. They were extrely exclusive and did not interact with any other races living in Valhalla. They were also self sufficient and did not need to trade with anyone.
They were also extrely hostile toward outsiders. If they detected any outsider coming to Latvik Plains, they would imdiately attack and obliterate them. This race was actually divided in four tribes and they were always fighting against one another. But when it ca to outsiders, all four of the tribes showed extre unity, as if they were close family.
As the Latvik Plains was their holand, they had set up a super large scale detection formation here. This formation could easily detect anyone who ca here from outside and was always active. That was the reason why it was extrely hard, almost impossible to avoid it.
When Debrone ca here last ti, he had actually managed to hide himself from the formation with the help of a powerful stealth artifact. But after using that for a long ti, it started to feel the stress and the effectiveness of the stealth sudden decreased just a little bit. But even that little bit was enough for the large scale formation to detect him and he was imdiately targeted by 12 demigod rank powerhouses.
But with the ti he was able to remain hidden, he had managed to do a bit of a research on the race living here. The divided four tribes were based on the divine beast that was their ancestral totems. Each of the divine beasts represented one of the four main elents of fire, water, earth and wind.
The beast representing the fire elent was a large lion with a mane made of fire. The beast representing the water elent was a large whale. The beast for the wind elent was a unicorn pegesus. And finally the beast for the earth elent was a large ape.
All four of these beasts were not just legends but they actually existed. All of them were above level 600, which made them extrely powerful. They were the last line of defense for the tribes.
Last ti, Debrone had actually managed to survive a single attack from one of the beasts. That attack was also the reason for his most terrible injury from this trip. It was the ape that had attacked and it also was just a casual attack. But he had barely managed to survive that after exhausting all his life saving trump cards, so Debrone did not want to face that beast again.
So this ti, he had prepared an even better item for concealnt. But it had a large fault. The person who was using the item would not be able to use any other skills or abilities. So basically they would not be able to fight at all.
But to get his hands on the Cradle of Desire, he definitely needed to fight a few opponents and they were not too weak either. So for Debrone alone, completing the mission was impossible. That was also the reason why he had asked for Elena's help.
As he would be completely powerless while using the stealth item, his partner also needed to be trustworthy. Even though Debrone had known Elena for a very very short period of ti, he had a feeling that he could trust her. Debrone had a very high believe in his intuition, so he had not wasted any ti worrying about it and had invited Elena.
Last ti, he had managed to reach almost the last step before the stealth item gave in. Debrone was confident that if the item had managed to hold on for a day or two more, he would definitely have been able to complete his task successfully.
That was the reason why he was confident this ti. The enemies that Elena needed to defeat should be weaker than him. And as Elena could defeat him, she should have no trouble against them. As for the four tribes, Debrone had absolutely no intention to even be noticed by them. He was lucky last ti and he was sure that his luck would not be with him all the ti.
After he had explained the plan to Elena, they finally entered the plains under the cover of the item. Even with a better item than last ti, Debrone was quite nervous. So instead of going further in, he first waited for so ti at the edge of the plains to make sure that the item was able to hide them.
Fortunately, this item was much stronger than the last one and worked perfectly. Debrone heaved a sigh of relief after noticing this and got insulted by Elena for being a coward. They he started to guide her toward the eastern part of the plains.
The Cradle of Desire was located in a cave away from all the tribes. They were aware of its existence but as the race of Usums were able to change their gender at will and had almost no sexual desires, this item was completely useless to them. Only a few beasts and monsters living in the forest sotis used this. So the security around it was not that high.
Overall, this mission looked like an easy one. So would they be able to complete it without much trouble or sothing problematic would hinder them ?
