According to the receptionist ladies, there were two types of Deep Sea pirates. One kind were cruel, greedy and bloodthirsty, just like regular bandits and they had the highest bounties in the adventurer guild. But there was also a different kind of pirates who were celebrated as heroes by the people of the city.

These second kind of pirates targeted only the evil rchants. As the city of Ikostia was a big fish, many kind of rchants visited it for various purposes. Among those rchants, there were several evil ones who dealt in illigal drugs, slaves and more restricted materials. These rchants were also extrely rich.

These kind of rchants were the primary targets of the "good" pirates and they also help the needy people of the city quite often. For this reason, the reputation of these pirates among the population was quite good.

The adventurer guild was a neutral organisation, so they handled both the evil pirates and the good pirates the sa way. But the head of the guild had used his power to lower to the bounty for the good pirates quite a bit even though most of them were quite strong.

That way, no capable adventurer would ever take on the task of their bounty as the reward was way too low for the difficulty that they would face and the hardships that they had to endure in order to complete it.

This was quite an interesting thing and Elena asked the receptionist about the details of these pirates. She also did not forget to ask about a Deep Sea Bound that could take her to the beautiful city of Ikostia.

It looked like this was also a very common question and the receptionist was perfectly prepared for it. She imdiately took out so papers and started to tell Elena everything she knew about these topics. Elena was quite impressed by the competency of this receptionist lady.

After getting all her answers, Elena thanked the receptionist lady whose na was Mary and handed her a busket filled with various sweets. Mary was very joyful after seeing so many sweets, so she happily smiled at Elena and thanked her for the gift. Then Elena left the adventurer guild and went to find a certain inn.

This inn was recomnded to her by Mary and according to her, this inn definitely had the best food in the whole city. So obviously a foodey like Elena had to check it out. But she was not planning to stay there for long, only one or two nights.

As Elena started to walk toward the inn, she thought back about all the information that Mary had given her. According to her, currently the service of the Deep Sea Bound's were halted. The reason for this sudden stop was a massive pirate hunting operation planned by the navy of this city.

A few days ago, the son of an influential person from the city of Ikostia was captured by a deep sea pirate group. That influential person had imdiately mobilised his personal army to hunt down this group and to save his son.

After thoroughly searching the nearby sea areas, he was successful in his mission but his son was already half dead and had developed a ntal trauma from this experience.

That influential person was extrely angry about this matter and had launched a complaint about the bad managent of the rulers of the city of Golvika. The city of the Golvika was almost completely dependent on the city of Ikostia for most things, especially economy. So as soon as this complaint was launched, even the lazy ruler of Golvika had beca active to start the pirate clean up.

As for how long this lockdown would last, receptionist Mary was not sure. But she did ntion that, at most, the lockdown could last for two weeks. Elena had absolutely no reason or intention to stay in this city for such a long ti.

When she had ntioned this to Mary, she had given her an advice. In the current lockdown, the official Deep Sea Bounds were not available. But a few pirate vehicles were still secretly carrying people to Ikostia. So Elena could try to contact them if she was in a hurry.

There was also another reason why she was going to the inn ntioned by Mary. The owner of the inn had so connections with one of the "Good" pirate groups, so she could help Elena with the matter of contacting the pirates.

The inn was located inside a remote alley but the inside of the inn was filled with custors. Almost all the people inside were locals so it looked like the tourists rarely visited this place. Elena did not mind the attention even a little bit and directly went to the counter to book a room. The person handling the counter was a rough looking man and seeing Elena, he smiled lewdly and asked her why she was here.

While writing down the information about Elena, the lady who had introduced herself as Lashley asked Elena how she had ca to know about this inn. Elena had nothing to hide about the source and ntioned that Mary had recomnded it. Hearing that, Lashley showed her suprised by widening her eyes a bit but her behaviour toward Elena beca more intimate afterwards.

After the booking process was done, Elena asked if she could get so food at the current mont. Lashley said that most of the ingredients were running low in the kitchen at the current ti but she could prepare a few special dishes for Elena if she wanted.

Elena gladly accepted the offer and then indirectly ntioned the pirates. Lashley was a smart person and she imdiately understood what Elena was trying to say. So she told Elena that her food would be brought to her room and handed her a pair of keys. Alongside the keys, there was also a paper that was given to Elena.

After noticing it, Elena went to check out her room with a slight smile on her beautiful face.
