Yes, that was the number on the screen above the board. Shuri beca the first and only person so far to cross the threshold of 3 digits. Everyone on the field was stunned. Before Shuri, everyone who had scored high already had so reputation among the younger generation. But Shuri's super high score ca out of the blue.
Even Rose was stunned with her new friend's score. She never thought that she would be so strong. But after the surprise was over, Rose felt extrely happy. So she went forward to support her friend who looked very tired and congratulated her. Even the teacher who was in charge of this test spot was impressed by her score. Then both of the friends went to the resting spot to wait for the next phase of the exam to start.
Shuri and Rose were in 1st and 2nd position on the board. Both of them thought that they would end this phase of the exam with the top two positions but at the last monts of the exam, a change happened. One candidate who looked very average and who had the job of an assassin, was able to score 933 points which pushed Rose to the third position. But that was not the end of the surprises. A white haired blind girl, who looked like a very beautiful doll, and who was also the last one to attempt the test score an astonishing 1102 with her special light elental magic, taking the second place and barely missing the first place.
Seeing the girl Shuri muttered -
"Ah, so Colette is also taking the admission test."
Hearing her Rose asked -
"So you know that girl, Shuri ?"
"Yes, you can say that we are fellow disciples. But it has not been very long since she started learning from my elder sister. Her na is Colette."

Shuri then thanked the teacher and took Colette's hand and led her to the place where she and Rose were resting. As the three of them were talking rrily one of the teachers told everyone that the second phase of the exam where the students had to fight against a puppet would take place in 1 hour. So they should get ready.

For the second phase, students would enter an alternate dinsion where they would find a combat puppet waiting for them. Every student's fight would be recorded and the teachers would keep an eye on the students. But the combat puppets themselves would be in charge of scoring the students depending on their performance. If any of the students had any problems with the score, they could submit an application and he would be able to see his recorded fight and the reason for his score would be explained to him. That student would also be charged 10 gold coins if there was no mistake on the score.
For this test, Elena created the alternate dinsion to save ti. As the number of participants was very high, there was no ti to take the test one by one. As every student would give the exam in a separate dinsion, everyone could give the exam at the sa ti.
Everyone entered the alternate dinsion created by Elena one by one. The girls also told each other good luck and went in. As soon as Shuri entered, she found herself inside a pure white expanse. There was only a puppet standing in the middle. After seeing Shuri it spoke up -
"Participant detected. Comparing database. The participant's na is Shuri. Class summoner. Are you ready for combat."
Shuri replied yes and the combat started. She summoned a fire and a wind spirit and told them to attack the puppet. She herself used a magic spell called {Magus barrier} to surround herself. The puppet was using a spear to fight against two of the spirits who had good chemistry between them as one was a fire spirit and another one was a wind spirit who could boost the power of the fire spirit. But soon the puppet started using magic and both of the spirits were pushed back. Shuri sacrificed more of her life force to give a boost to the two spirits.
But the puppet was really very strong. It was handling the spear like a pro and at the sa ti using magic with great proficiency. Shuri was sure she would not last long if she didn't actively participate in the fight. So she also started to use attack spells to distract the puppet. After she started actively participating in the battle they were able to have a deadlock with the puppet.
But after five minutes suddenly the puppets strength got a boost. It started to push back Shuri's group. When it looked like she was going to lose, Shuri greeted her teeth and summoned Magestro once again. But she almost passed out while doing so. With the addition of Magestro, the advantage fell on Shuri's side and the puppet was pushed back. Magestro single-handedly managed to push this puppet back.
Then again, after about five minutes the puppet got another boost and it started fighting Magestro back. After a couple more boosts the puppet beca too strong for even Magestro and Shuri had no other cards up her sleeves. So she was ejected out of the dinsion. As soon as she ca out Colette and Rose ran toward her and asked her about her test. She told them what happened and asked them about their performance.
Rose ntioned that she tried her best with fire magic but the puppet was using water magic to easily counter her. She didn't have many tricks in her arsenal so as soon as her prized fire magic beca useless, she wasn't able to last very long. As for Colette, she said that she was able to destroy the puppet three tis, but with each destruction it beca stronger and stronger and after the third destruction it beca too strong for her to handle. She still tried to do her best to defeat it sohow but after it got a single boost after so ti she beca unable to keep up with it anymore and was beaten.
Both Shuri and Rose looked at Colette weirdly. They never even imagined that soone would be able to destroy the puppets. Actually, the puppet was created in such a way that when it was hit with an attack that could deal 1000 damage to the board, it would be destroyed. Shuri was only able to reach that damage amount by using her everything but she could not do that repeatedly. On the other hand, after a few minutes of rest Colette could use her high damaging attack again.
Soon the score of the second phase of the exam was announced. The person with the highest score this ti was -
