Sarika exited the room, leaving Adam and Han to their own devices. She wasn't overly concerned about Adam. Despite the mansion's sparse population, there were still servants available to attend to Adam's needs.
Plus, with Han by his side, Sarika trusted that Adam would be well taken care of.
Even if the servants refuse to listen to Adam, they won't ignore Han. It's funny when you think about it. They would rather listen to a commoner than Johann's grandchild.
Only when Johann was present that they treat Adam with a certain amount of respect.
The fact that the servants were more inclined to listen to a commoner like Han rather than Johann's own grandson spoke volus about Adam's standing within the estate.
She wonders why sothing like this could happen.

"Huaa~" Han let out a tired yawn, stretching his arms as he rose from his seat. "She's gone. I'm going back to my room. Call if the servants refuse to listen to your command."
"Okay," Adam replied. "I'm going to do so revision before sleeping."
With that, Han made his way to the door. As he exited, the sound of his footsteps gradually faded away, leaving Adam alone in his dimly lit bedroom.
Han's room was just across the corridor. He should be able to hear Adam calling him.

The sound of book pages being flipped echoed. Adam treated the book delicately as it was an imported book from the south and the price was very expensive.
Apparently, the relationship between Barlia and Ryntum which is not very good at the mont made books from there so expensive.
However, that's not why Adam treats the book with care. He knows that his grandfather can afford to buy the books if he asks. The problem is that it takes a long ti for the book ordered to reach this place.
Agents only bring books back to Barlia once every two months. Due to the low literacy rate in Barlia, the quantity was not much and people who generally bought books were nobles.
These few agents charge a hell out of the nobles. Fortunately, the nobles don't mind paying the price or else their head may fly in the air.
Adam continued to flip through the pages. The room felt strangely quiet without Han and Sarika's presence. Maybe because it was already midnight, he could no longer hear the conversation among the servants.
Creak-

Jin arrived at Johann's mansion. He looks up to the window that belongs to Adam's room. The soft glow of light emanating from within indicated that the occupants of the room were still awake.
For Jin, this was not exactly the ideal scenario. To make his job easier, Jin prefers Adam to be asleep. It would considerably reduce the risk of unexpected developnt.
However, Jin was not overly concerned about this situation. Not everything can develop exactly as he wished. It is already good enough that the circumstances don't deviate too much from his initial assumption.
Jin calmly made his way toward the mansion. Dodging the guards' surveillance is an easy task for soone of his calibre. And because he had done several investigations on the guards a few days prior, Jin had no reason to fail.
Unless soone is completely incompetence, nobody should fail.
As he passed by the security, he'd say employing these people are waste of money. They are only useful in stopping normal people and can be used to intimidate troublemakers. That's it.
For soone seeking to cause real harm to a noble like Johann, they won't hire a third rate to do the job and seek a professional in the industry like Jin.
These guards would be woefully inadequate to counter an expert. And as a professional himself, Jin would be laughed at by friends in his circle if he got spotted by these guards.
Once Jin safely gets into the mansion, he doesn't go straight to his target. Knowing the light in Adam's room was still on, Jin aware that Sarika was probably there as well. He didn't dare to get too close to that place either. It would be detrintal if Sarika sensed his presence.
While he is not weak, it doesn't an he is strong.
Due to the nature of this particular job, it is best for him to avoid any head-on fight.
As such, he chooses to bide his ti and goes around the mansion while waiting for Sarika to leave. No matter how late the ti was, the duke's daughter always went back to her place.
Jin toured the mansion while avoiding the servants before ending up settling in a room directly above Adam's.
'This place should be fine. No matter how strong her sense is, there's no way she could know my presence up here.'
Hours passed and Jin remained alert. His senses are attuned to any signs of movent. Aside from the faint rustle of leaves and the murmur of voices, nothing else is worth paying attention to.
"That's it for today. I will be busy tomorrow so there will be no class."
Sarika's voice can be heard by Jin. Her words carried a clear aning.
For Jin, who had been patiently waiting in the shadows, her words were a welco sign. After hours of vigilance, his patience had finally paid off.
Despite his excitent, Jin hasn't made any move yet. It was at a critical ti like this people often make a mistakes. If he makes even the faintest sound, Sarika would definitely hear it.
That woman is not a commander of the army for nothing.
Jin pays close attention to their last bit of conversation but none of their words had any value to him.
Sarika was the first to leave but there was still Han Jester so he waited a bit more.
After confirming that there was no one else in the room below except Adam, he finally made his move. Luckily, the window of the room was wide open.
