When one academic gets into a rivalry with another, it’s a sad story.

Teng Shuixian focused on the ga, "Beat first, then we’ll talk. I don’t want to give myself to soone whose chess skills aren’t as good as mine."
Qian rubbed her temples, she really couldn’t handle Teng Shuixian.
How was she supposed to win this ga when it looked like she was about to lose?
While she was at a loss, soone knocked on her window.
By this ti, it was already dark, and Teng Shuixian was startled by the sound. Knocking on the window!
Wasn’t this the attic on the second floor? It’s dark, could it be Spider-Man?
Qian was already used to it, pulled open the window, and Yu Minglang adeptly jumped in.
"What are you doing here?"
"Ca to see you—have a guest?" Yu Minglang almost wanted to hug Qian, but halted when he saw Teng Shuixian sitting in the room.
"Yeah, she’s my friend." Qian tugged Yu Minglang over to introduce him to Teng Shuixian.
"This is my boyfriend, the younger brother of that shrewd businessman."
"Hello, I’m Teng Shuixian." Teng Shuixian curiously looked at the man who had climbed in through the window. He was wearing a suit and looked very serious.
But why would a serious person jump through a window?
"Hello, I’m Yu Minglang." Yu Minglang walked over to the chessboard, turned his head, and asked Qian.
"Playing chess?"
"I’m about to lose... you play." Qian pressed Yu Minglang down.
Yu Minglang glanced at the board, sat down, and took over for Qian.
His logical thinking was better than Qian’s, and he quickly turned the situation around, putting Shuixian in a bind.
"Chen Xiaoqian, you’re cheating, this wasn’t your win at all!"
"I can’t beat you, but I can handle soone who can. Yu Minglang, do you listen to ?"
"Yes! Leader."
Teng Shuixian watched the two of them exchange a knowing look and felt a bit tricked.
"Sis, Mom asked to bring you so fruit—oh, Lang!"
Chen Zilong ca in with a fruit plate, startled.
He had been sitting downstairs the whole ti and hadn’t seen anyone co in through the door.
Yu Minglang nodded to him, "Young man, it’s good to help, but the habit of coming in without knocking should change."
Chen Zilong was left bewildered by his words.
"Mom! My brother Lang is here!" Chen Zilong shouted down the hallway.
Yu Minglang, caught, still remained calm since it wasn’t too late at night yet.
As Chen Zilong ran downstairs to call Jia Xiufang, Yu Minglang caught sight of a corner outside the window. He squinted, took out a flashlight from his back, and swept it over a dark corner outside, faintly seeing small red dots in the darkness.
Yu Minglang squinted, was soone watching his Qian from outside?
He opened the window and quickly jumped out.
Teng Shuixian watched in amazent as Yu Minglang, like Spider-Man, deftly scaled the building, then with a leap spanned several ters, landing on another roof like a movie stunt.
"He..."
"He trained for this back in the day; it’s no big deal. Let call him and tell him not to beat your family’s bodyguards."
"Xiaoqiang, those are Shuixian’s bodyguards, don’t hit them."
"Got it, leader." Yu Minglang hung up the phone.
His foot was on one bodyguard, with a hand pinning another trying to fight back.
The Teng family’s bodyguards were trained, but no match for Yu Minglang. Before they knew what was happening, Yu Minglang, like Night Charm, descended from the sky and toppled one with a swift kick.
The poor guards didn’t have ti to react before being knocked down. Hearing Qian’s phone call, they quickly nodded, "Yes, brother, we’re on the sa side!"
"Oh!" Yu Minglang acknowledged and followed with a punch.
The hit bodyguard looked aggrieved, having already declared a misunderstanding yet still getting punched!
"This place is off-limits for your surveillance, don’t let catch you watching my girlfriend again."
When Jia Xiufang heard her son say Yu Minglang was here, she hurried upstairs but only found Qian and Teng Shuixian, with no sign of Yu Minglang.
Chen Zilong ca up looking utterly baffled.
"Where’s your brother Lang?" Jia Xiufang asked her son.
Chen Zilong scratched his head, "I really saw him, didn’t I, sis?"
Qian shook her head, "Big Dragon, you’re seeing things. Soone could be right behind you at night and you wouldn’t know."
Chen Zilong got goosebumps from what Qian said, "Sis, can you not freak out?"
"You said he ca, so where is he?" Qian asked.
Teng Shuixian watched Qian seriously con her brother, lowering her head to look at the chessboard to avoid laughing.
"I really saw him—sis, did brother Lang jump out the window?"
Chen Zilong went to the windowsill, wanting to look outside, and Jia Xiufang smacked the back of his head, "Nonsense, do you think your brother Lang is as reckless as you?"
"Sis! You saw it too, and this pretty sister saw it as well!"
Qian took off her glasses and wiped them with a tissue, "I didn’t see anything."
"Ah!" Chen Zilong was getting confused.
"Auntie, at ho?" Yu Minglang’s voice ca from downstairs; this ti, he used the door.
"Yes! Coming!" Jia Xiufang heard the voice and quickly went downstairs.
Chen Zilong looked bewildered.
Qian patted his shoulder, "Bro, have you heard of déjà vu? It’s said there are people in the world who can foresee what’s going to happen. What you just felt is what’s about to happen. If you don’t believe it, wait for him to co up and see what he does."
Qian’s words were just loud enough for Yu Minglang, coming up the stairs, to hear.
Yu Minglang found it amusing but played along, sitting in the sa spot Qian just vacated, repeating the line to Chen Zilong.
"Young man, helping out is good, but the habit of entering without knocking should change."
Ah! Chen Zilong was baffled; it was exactly the sa.
Clutching his head, "Sis, what do I do? I’m kind of panicking."
Qian stood up, earnestly patting his shoulder, "Go get your physics textbook and do so physics howork, that’ll help."
"Lang, what’s going on?" Chen Zilong asked the more composed figure.
"Young man, this is part of quantum chanics. Have you heard of Schrodinger’s cat? When you push the door open, my being here or not is each 50% likely. The quantum state is a mixture of being and not being, but upon opening the door, the state collapses into reality. Now you see here, so do you understand?"
Mature Yu Minglang, with a composed expression, tead up with Qian to thoroughly ss with Chen Zilong.
"I understand now, you guys are ganging up to bully people, cheering each other on in tough tis." Having witnessed it all, Teng Shuixian felt resigned.
She was certainly not the first person jointly tricked by Qian and Yu Minglang, and wouldn’t be the last.
