Puff-eyed’s level was only enough to understand ’basketball’, as for the long string, she truly couldn’t comprehend, but Qian’s disdainful look successfully misled her. Puff-eyed thought Qian was badmouthing her in English, so she eagerly spouted sour words to indicate she wasn’t illiterate.
"Interrupting people isn’t a good habit, especially when you don’t understand what I an. What’s ’basketbasketball’ minus the ’ball’?" Qian asked Puff-eyed.
"Basket!"
"Then what’s ’basket’ plus ’ball’?"
"Basketball!" Puff-eyed confidently flaunted her knowledge.
"Pfft!" Narcissus finally got it, pfft, it cracked her up!
