"Co out! How dare you put on this charade before a True God?"
In a fit of rage, Giles roared furiously. At that mont, his oppressive presence perated the entire space, causing the bats and nuns to tremble uncontrollably.
The nuns and bats were all well aware of Giles’s power. If Giles wanted to blow this island to bits, it would be no difficult task at all. They were terrified, certain that anyone who opposed Giles would et a grueso end.
The nuns began to cry, while the bats erupted in cheers. "Our king is so formidable!" "Yes, such a powerful aura! I’ve never felt anything like it before. With the king here, we have nothing to fear from anyone playing tricks." "With the king here, who would dare to act so recklessly?" The bats were overjoyed.
"Co out! Why don’t you dare co out now? Are you afraid of ?" Giles asked, his voice hoarse with excitent. He asked the bats if they could still hear that other voice, and they all said they couldn’t. Giles was ecstatic. "See that, my children? He’s afraid! I am a True God, and at the re sound of my voice, he no longer dares to be so insolent!"
Giles assud his oppressive presence had intimidated Wu Tian. Little did he know that Wu Tian, back in the Dragon Country, was currently being pestered by Qin Yuhan and simply had no ti to deal with this vampire.

"Our daughter just said you were carrying a torch for soone," Qin Yuhan said, sizing up Wu Tian from head to toe, her expression maintaining the authority of the head of the household.
Wu Tian was speechless. He glanced at the little girl again.
She just giggled. "Dad, I’m doing this for your own good and for the good of our family. What if you fell for soone else and our family fell apart? What would we do then?"
Wu Tian was at a loss. He really had no way of dealing with this daughter of his. Many n were like this; they could be powerful figures in the outside world, but at ho, they were utterly helpless against their darling daughters.
Qin Yuhan wasn’t naive enough to believe Wu Tian so easily. She asked directly, "You haven’t been getting tangled up with any other won recently, have you?"

"Did you sleep with her?" Qin Yuhan’s eyes turned cold, and she lightly bit her lip.
Wu Tian nodded again. "Yes, we did." He started to explain, "But..."
"No buts." Qin Yuhan scoffed, picking up their daughter and heading upstairs. She decided she wouldn’t be speaking to Wu Tian for the rest of the day.
Wu Tian was left speechless. People say it’s tough being a woman—doing the laundry, raising children, cooking... what a hard life. But what about n? Were their lives not hard at all? Trying to reason with a woman was completely futile.
Wu Tian was furious. He needed to find sothing to vent his anger on. Without a doubt, the first target that ca to mind was that swarm of bats and their vampire king!
「On the isolated island in the Iron Tower Country...」
The bats were still cheering, assuming Wu Tian’s voice had vanished because he had been thoroughly intimidated by Giles’s aura. They were thrilled and utterly satisfied to be following such a king.
But their joy didn’t last long.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
One after another, the bats began to explode again, splattering blood everywhere. It was as if a black, bloody rain had begun to fall upon the island, spattering the great stones and the Holy Church. The scene was utterly shocking.
The nuns were completely petrified.
"Who is it!"
"Who still dares to be so audacious!"
From within the tomb, Giles was furious enough to die. Finally, as the sun set, he crawled out. He had waist-length purple hair with slanted bangs that often obscured a pair of bewitching, liquid-purple eyes. He was a man, yet more beautiful than any woman, though his was a bewitching charm, entirely different from re effeminacy. His presence was devilishly charming, and a single glance into his eyes was like being pulled into the depths of the sea.
Vampires have, since ancient tis, often been depicted as handso n. When Giles was human, his looks were ordinary, but upon becoming a vampire, his appearance beca so magnificent that won would swoon for him.
Yet now, he was clenching his teeth in rage as he finally climbed out of the graveyard into the night. He was determined to see who would dare be so presumptuous as to play tricks in his presence!
Just then, Wu Tian’s voice echoed in Giles’s mind. "You wish to die? I’ll grant it."
What? Giles was startled. Before he could even react, he felt an attack. It was invisible, not striking his physical body, but rather his soul, his very mind. He couldn’t understand it; he had no idea how his opponent was attacking. He was utterly baffled.
Giles’s face turned pale as he staggered backward. Suddenly, he was struck again. His left hand exploded into a bloody ss.
Horrified and completely petrified, Giles watched his blood pool on the ground. "I give up! I give up!"
He had appeared on the scene as graceful as a nobleman, but now he looked as disheveled as a beggar. "Let go! Let go! I’m willing to crawl back into my tomb and never co out again!"
How could he possibly fight back? He couldn’t even see his attacker. He didn’t know how the blows were struck, only that he was being wounded. How was he supposed to fight this?
His face was deathly pale as he begged for rcy.
"AAARGH!" At that mont, one of Giles’s legs inexplicably exploded, spraying blood as he let out an agonizing scream.
The remaining living bats no longer dared to fly. They landed on the ground, trembling in fear. Their king, with his formidable presence and imnse power, turned out to be nothing more than a joke before Wu Tian. The bats were now more terrified than ever, shivering uncontrollably.
Suddenly, Giles seed to rember sothing and scread, "No, no, I absolutely cannot die! I have a reason I can’t die!"
The bats were stunned. What? What reason could their king possibly have?
Giles cried out, "My... my brainwaves! I once collaborated with the military of the Iron Tower Country! I’m willing to serve as a marshal again! If you kill , the Iron Tower Country will not let you go!"
"With the resurgence of Spiritual Energy and great advancents in technology, the Iron Tower Country is not what it once was! It now commands extraordinary, ultra-modern power! Do you really think you can fight an entire nation alone?"
But as soon as the words left his mouth, his body suddenly began to swell, growing larger and larger like an overinflating balloon, on the verge of bursting at any mont.
Giles panicked. "No, no, no! Can’t you understand what I’m saying? I..."
But in the next mont, his body completely burst apart in a spray of blood. Giles was utterly and completely obliterated.
The bats were stunned. Giles, who had proclaid himself a True God, had died so quickly.
"You’re all going to die too!"
Wu Tian’s voice once again resounded in the bats’ minds, and they were petrified with fear.
At that very mont, a fleet of warships was already approaching the isolated island. They were coming to welco Giles. In life, when he was human, Giles had been the invincible marshal of the Country of Law. Now, the military of the Country of Law had co to invite him to assu the rank of marshal once more.
