「Dragon Country.」
The incident with the Iron Tower Country had left the people of the nation in a state of panic. They had no idea if the Iron Tower Country would actually attack or if a war would break out. Although Spiritual Energy had been revived and Dragon Country now possessed ultra-modern power, no one could predict the outco of a war. If a fight did occur, there was no telling who might beco collateral damage. The people’s mood was heavy, and this was particularly true in Yang City.
Today, in the center of Yang City, all eyes were turned skyward. A flying object resembling a saucer was beginning its descent. However, this was no UFO. It was a vehicle created by the technological power of Hezong Country, fueled by Spiritual Energy and far faster than any helicopter or airplane.
The flying saucer landed, and two n erged—one old, one young. Both were dressed in suits, looking respectable and sharp. They had fair skin and blond hair, and were pure-blooded people of the Foreign States. Their identities were also significant—they were envoys from Hezong Country.
Other countries were forbidden from entering Dragon Country’s airspace without permission, but Hezong Country was the exception.
Looking at the yellow-skinned, black-haired people of Dragon Country around him, the young man shook his head and mumbled, "So ugly."
A flash of disdain crossed his eyes. In his view, fair skin and blond hair are the only true standards of beauty. As for black hair and yellow skin? To him, they look no better than dung beetles. Of course, as an envoy of Hezong Country, he wasn’t a fool. He knew it was better to keep such thoughts to himself than to voice them openly. Even as an envoy, he understood he shouldn’t provoke public outrage.
"Watch what you say," the elder advised. "You don’t want soone to overhear and post it on social dia. You know how the people of Dragon Country are with those platforms; the slightest misstep can beco a news headline. Let’s focus on the serious matter at hand: how to make the Martial God apologize to the Monarch of Law."
"That’s simple, not as complicated as you think." The young man’s eyes brimd with confidence. "If he doesn’t apologize, our two countries could go to war. This conflict could then beco the spark that ignites a third world war. Even if he is the Martial God, that’s not a responsibility he can bear."
"You still need to speak carefully later. Don’t be rash," the elder said, shaking his head. "You have only recently beco an envoy of Hezong Country, so you don’t understand. Hezong Country is very powerful, but other countries are no less capable. For example, this very city, Yang City, gave rise to the New Holy Land known as the ’Hundreds of Birds Paying Homage to the Phoenix.’ Now that Spiritual Energy has returned, countries have acquired ultra-modern technology, but despite this, none of them can create a new Sacred Land."
The young man chuckled, disagreeing with the elder. Of course, other countries are powerful. They are kings. But Hezong Country is the king of kings, what you might call the Supre Emperor! Would any country dare defy an order from Hezong Country?
The elder took out his cellphone, preparing to call and have soone send over Wu Tian’s ho address.
"Why bother?" The young man frowned. "We are the ambassadors of Hezong Country. Why should we go to see Wu Tian? It should be Wu Tian who cos to see us!"
This young man was a mber of the Capet family. Ranked by power, the Capet family is arguably the world’s greatest historical dynasty. After more than 1,100 years of change, the fairy tale of the unfading iris flower continues to fly high in the skies of Spain and Luxembourg.
The elder sighed and was about to speak, but Capenul was already shouting at the people of Yang City.
"Listen up, all of you!" he bood. "We are emissaries from Hezong Country, here on a mission for world peace! What we are doing is glorious and sacred, all for the welfare of people around the globe!
"Now, I want to see Wu Tian! Go and bring him to !"
Having said this, the young man produced a docunt.
"This is a mandate from Hezong Country! In other words, we are imperial censors from a superior state, with the authority to act first and report later! What are you all standing around for? Hurry up and get Wu Tian!
"If you delay this important matter of world peace, which one of you can bear the responsibility?"
The young man’s furious roar caused the faces of the surrounding people to drain of color. What could they do? They had to find Wu Tian. Those who knew his address imdiately started heading toward his residence, hoping that Hezong Country and Wu Tian could negotiate a resolution and make the threat of war disappear.
"You two are the emissaries from Hezong Country, I presu?" Kong Zhiyuan happened to be in the city center with a few other teachers, looking for teaching materials. Seeing the commotion, he approached them with the other teachers in tow.
Kong Zhiyuan had been a respected teacher for many years, with students all over the world. He discerned Capenul’s temperant with a single glance. "Young man," he said, "when Wu Tian arrives, if you wish to reach an agreent, you must speak to him properly.
"If you are truly here for world peace, don’t be so aggressive when you speak with him. Curb your temper. How you treat Wu Tian is how he will treat you in return."
Kong Zhiyuan was very experienced in dealing with people. He also knew what kind of person Wu Tian was. Wu Tian was no saint; he wasn’t soone you could simply intimidate. Nor was he a great villain. If he decided to kill soone, that person surely had a reason to die. If you behaved yourself, Wu Tian wouldn’t harm you without cause.
Kong Zhiyuan hoped Capenul would listen to him. The elder nodded in agreent, but Capenul’s face instantly darkened.
He was an emissary from Hezong Country. How he acted and spoke was his own business. Did he need soone else to manage him?
Suppressing his anger, Capenul said, "Sir, I am an emissary from Hezong Country, and you are not. Please step aside, will you?"
Kong Zhiyuan was taken aback. Why can’t this young man listen to reason?
One of the teachers behind Kong Zhiyuan stepped forward. "Young man, our principal is only saying this for your own good, and for the sake of world peace. If you speak politely with Mr. Wu Tian, you can negotiate a result."
"Shut up!" Capenul was furious. He didn’t want anyone telling him what to do; he wasn’t a child anymore!
He waved his hand.
WHOOSH!
He slapped the teacher directly across the face.
Kong Zhiyuan frowned deeply. Why would Hezong Country send soone like this as an emissary? The other teachers were enraged, and they all began to rebuke Capenul.
