"Hohoho~ we have an enthusiastic one," Vyrion said, covering his mouth behind his hand.

"How much do you wanna bet?"

"Hundred kilograms of Grade 3 Mid-Tier Soul Stones," the beast replied.

Vyrion shook the glass again, crawling it up his arm like a snake before slamming it onto the table.

"Even or odd?"

"Odd."

"Hah! I have seen it countless tis in a manhwa. He’s gonna win again."

The glass lifted, revealing a ’three’ on one dice while ’two’ was embedded on the other.

"Five! Hohoho~ you won again, beast," Vyrion laughed, throwing another pouch at him.

"That’s what I’m talking about!" The elephant beast roared, raising his trunk. "I already won more than my monthly salary within five minutes."

He took off his space ring from his finger and announced, "As the slogan says, win big or go ho. Since this is the last bet, I’m gonna gamble all the five thousand kilograms of Grade 3 Mid-Tier Soul Stones that I have."

"Hohoho~ you are certainly a risk taker. We finally have a worthy contestant," Vyrion laughed, shaking the glass again.

"Tsk-tsk, what an idiot," the gatherers mocked.

"It’s already an old trick to let people win two rounds in a row to make them gamble more."

"Exactly. He’s definitely gonna lose this ti."

"Hehehe~ I can’t wait to see the hilarious expression on that loser’s face."

The crowd giggled, obvious of the outco that was about to co.

"Hmm, even these idiots know that much. Does this little trick let him earn the title of Gamble Master?" I thought inwardly, rubbing my chin.

Bam...

The glass slamd onto the table and Vyrion asked, "Even or odd?"

A smirk appeared on the beast’s face as he answered, "Even."

Vyrion slowly lifted the glass, and the numbers that appeared this ti were six and two.

"Eight. Hohoho~ you won three tis in a row. You are certainly lucky, my friend," Vyrion laughed and threw another bag toward the beast.

"Huh?" I gasped, totally stunned.

"The beast actually won?" the crowd’s surprised voices echoed.

"Is this real?"

"Fuck. I’m so jealous. He won five thousand kilograms of Mid-Tier Soul Stones without doing shit."

"Bwahaha!" the elephant roared, his trunk rising straight into the sky. "I’m gonna co tomorrow as well."

He grabbed the bag and walked away, rotating his trunk like a fan.

The mont he stepped away, two more figures ca forward—a white-haired woman with feline ears, sharp catlike eyes and fluffy paw-gloves, and a short man with ssy green hair.

Surprisingly, they also won all three tis and walked away happily.

"Is this guy really taking all these losses?" I mumbled.

Soon the news spread, more and more people surrounded the table, and the gambling began.

After about ten bettors, seven of them won all three rounds while the remaining three lost only the last round, where they gambled everything.

"I-I’m dead," one loser murmured, dropping to all fours.

"How am I gonna survive a month without Soul Stones?" another added.

"I will only take one more challenger for today," Vyrion announced. "Is there anyone who wants to gamble?"

"!"

"No, !"

"Choose !"

The crowd turned restless and began pushing each other, trying to reach the chair to beco the last one to earn big.

"Hohoho~ since there are so many eager challengers, I will select the one who wants to wager the highest amount," Vyrion announced with a clap.

Thus, people began announcing the amount they wanted to gamble, each higher than the previous one.

"Five thousand kilograms of Low-Tier Grade 2 Soul Stones."

"One thousand kilograms of Low-Tier Grade 1."

"Five hundred kilograms of Mid-Tier Grade 3."

As the bidding soared higher, an unexpectedly high amount was announced, becoming the center of attention.

"Fifty thousand kilograms of Low-Tier Grade 1 Soul Stones."

A man with long black ssy hair flowing below his shoulders from behind and covering his eyes at the front walked in. He wore a regular t-shirt and trousers, giving off the vibe of a commoner.

Yeah-yeah, you might have already guessed it. It was yours truly who announced the absurd number.

"Hahaha, there’s no way this vagrant has fifty thousand Soul Stones."

"Just look at his appearance. I’ll eat shit if he has ten percent of the amount he announced."

The crowd murmured, throwing insults left and right at .

Ignoring their barks, I moved past them and sat on the chair, my feet resting on the table.

"Are you doing it or not?" I asked, folding my arms.

"You do know that I need to see the amount to actually accept the gamble," Vyrion replied, his voice turning serious.

I removed a space ring from my middle finger and flicked it toward him.

"Check it."

Vyrion caught the ring with a wave of his hand and imdiately jumped off the chair, scanning the goods inside it.

"H-how do you possess so many Soul Stones?" he murmured, removing his specs.

"Are you an officer or what?" I muttered, spitting on the ground. "Are you gonna play or not?"

Gaining his composure, Vyrion sat on the chair and replied with a smile, "Of course I’m gonna play."

As the ga was about to start, the crowd began murmuring in confusion.

"Wh-why is Master Gambler playing with him?"

"Don’t tell he really possesses fifty thousand Soul Stones."

"Th-there’s no way that’s true."

Vyrion shoved the dice in and shook the cup with a harsh, swirling motion. His grip tightened, veins rising on his forearm as the rattling grew wild, showing off his skills.

As he was about to slam the glass onto the table, I touched his forearm with my leg, stopping him midway.

"What are you doing, Sir?" he asked, his face still straight.

"Put the cup on the ground instead of the table," I ordered.

A bead of sweat rolled down his temple at my command.

"S-sir, that’s against the rules. The cup must be placed on the table. It’s part of the ga."

I moved closer to him and whispered in his ear, "Do it, or I’m gonna flip the table."

His hands trembled and his black sunglasses dropped from his face, hitting the table.

"I-I’ll do as you say, so don’t touch the table," he murmured and slamd the cup inverted on the ground.

"Even or odd?"

I picked up his sunglasses, wore them over my eyes, and announced with a faint smile, "Even."

Taking a big gulp, he lifted the cup, revealing the numbers.

All the gatherers leaned forward.

"Two on the first and... six on the second. It’s eight," Vyrion announced, falling onto his back.

"WHATTTT!!??? HE WON???" The crowd exclaid, utterly dumbfounded.

"H-how did you find out?" Vyrion mumbled, still in shock.

I rose to my feet, snatched both my ring and his ring from his fingers, and stated while adjusting the sunglasses, "If you’re a Master Gambler, then I’m a Master Bettor."
