"Congratulations! You have completed Day-6 of the 30-day Daily Challenge!
All stats 10"
"Huff... huff... these challenges are sure getting crazy..." I murmured, wiping the sweat off my face with the edge of my T-shirt.
With each passing day, the difficulty of the quest kept intensifying. On the sixth day, I had to do sun salutations fifty tis, five hundred push-ups, five hundred sit-ups, and run ten kiloters.
However, I could already see the fruits of my labor on my body. My once shrunken cheeks were now in shape, and muscles had begun forming over my bones.
"I should take a bath before going to bed," I murmured, taking off my T-shirt.
At the sa ti, the door of the room slid open, and Vedika walked in.
"Mr. Raj, it’s ti for your check—gasp... six packs!" she exclaid, finding half-naked.
"Doctor Vedika, it’s basic manners to knock on the door before barging in," I sighed, wiping my wet chest and stomach with the T-shirt.
"If I knocked, I would’ve missed this eye-candy scenery," she said, her gaze fixed on my chest and abs. "Is this because you are the Guild Master’s brother? You’ve recovered and grown at an unprecedented rate."
She moved closer, raised her heel to match my height, and said, "You’ve also grown several inches taller. There must be sothing in your bloodline."
"Don’t say that, please. This bloodline shit has already given enough headaches," I thought inwardly before speaking aloud, "Why are you here, Doctor Vedika?"
"Tsk, so cruel! I’m here to perform one last checkup on you," she inford , her fingers brushing against my chest. "If everything is fine, you can be discharged today."
"Wasn’t the discharge scheduled for tomorrow?" I asked curiously, removing her hand.
"Yes, it was! But you’ve completely recovered, so there’s no point in you staying here any longer. However..."
She unbuttoned the top buttons of her shirt, revealing the middle line of her lons, and continued with a playful smile, "You may stay here as long as you want. I can also provide you with special treatnts."
While she was flirting, I was already halfway into the bathroom.
"I’ll co back after the bath for the checkup," I said, shutting the door behind .
"Sigh... each ti this woman flirts with , I have nightmares of U cutting off my dick," I muttered, shivering at the thought.
"Hmm, my hair has also grown longer in just six days," I murmured, grabbing the strands brushing my chin.
I had spent the last six days completing the daily challenges and learning the necessary information about this new world from the internet.
After the apocalypse, power was divided between the governnt and the eight nation-level guilds, each created by an S-Rank hunter—with the sole exception of the Black Raven Guild, whose Guild Master, my brother Aryan, was an AAA-Rank.
So, out of the eight S-Rank awakeners of India, seven were guild masters. As for the last one—forget creating a guild—she didn’t even join any and had been solo-clearing dungeons for the past four years.
She was also the one who constantly remained a hot topic in the news.
"Shadow Monarch, huh? Can’t believe she’s the sa woman who cried over my broken arm. I wonder what changed her so much."
After the bath, Vedika examined and gave permission to be discharged.
That sa evening, my na was called from the reception, saying that soone had co to pick up.
When I reached outside, I found a white, tinted-glass, S-Class rcedes-Benz parked right at the hospital entrance.
"Congratulations on your recovery, Mr. Raj. My na is Jasmine. I was sent by the Guild Master to drop you ho," the woman standing beside the car said.
She had short, curly black hair and was wearing formal attire. From her appearance, she didn’t look like a normal driver at all.
"Hello, Jasmine. It’s nice to et you," I said, extending my hand for a handshake.
"The pleasure is all mine, Mr. Raj," she replied, shaking my hand with both of hers.
"My brother didn’t co?"
"The Guild Master had an urgent eting, so he couldn’t make it."
"Even Sister Aisha and Maa didn’t co to pick up," I sighed sadly, but my expression quickly changed as my eyes fell on the beauty standing before .
"Is this car yours?" I asked.
"N-no, sir. I can’t afford such a luxurious car," she stamred before clarifying, "This car belongs to your brother."
"Whoa! That geezer is really earning big," I gasped as I sat in the front seat.
For a couple of seconds, Jasmine stared at dumbfounded before walking to the other side and sitting in the driver’s seat.
"You are the only person in the whole country who can call the Guild Master a geezer and get away with it," she chuckled, starting the car.
As soon as we reached the highway, I couldn’t stop myself from gasping.
The city was unrecognizable from what it once had been. Uniquely shaped buildings filled the skyline, each rising higher than the last.
The highway was divided into two levels. Countless vehicles stread along the lower deck, while the upper level—where we were driving—remained strangely deserted.
"Jasmine, why aren’t there any vehicles on the upper level?" I asked curiously.
"During dungeon breaks or the appearance of high-rank gates, awakeners faced problems reaching destinations on ti. So the governnt created these upper-level highways exclusively for awakeners."
"Ooo! That’s a very smart strategy to reduce the response ti of awakeners."
For the next half hour of our journey, I kept asking Jasmine nurous questions about everything new or unique I noticed along the way.
The car finally stopped before a large iron gate, with boundary walls as high as a double-story building.
The gate slid open automatically, revealing a massive, multi-story, beautiful mansion behind it.
"We’ve arrived, Mr. Raj," Jasmine said, stopping at the entrance.
"Woahhhh!!! This place looks unbelievably incredible!" I exclaid, stepping out of the car.
"Oh right, thanks for the ride, Jasmine—and sorry for troubling you with so many questions along the way. I must’ve bored you," I chuckled, turning toward her.
"Not at all, Mr. Raj," she replied with a smile. "On the contrary, I didn’t even realize we had reached the destination, thanks to you."
After bidding her goodbye, I turned toward the beautiful mansion and rang the doorbell.
"Co inside, Raj. The door is unlocked," a familiar male voice echoed from the speaker embedded beside the door.
"Where have I heard this voice before?" I wondered, opening the door.
The mansion was strangely dark inside, as if no one were ho.
The mont I stepped in, the hall lit up, and several voices echoed in unison,
"Welco back, Raj!!!!"
Besides Maa, Sister Aisha, and Inayat, there were two more familiar figures standing in the hall—people I hadn’t seen for almost one and a half years.
