The next day, over a hundred reporters and journalists surrounded the boundary gate of the mansion, making it impossible for us to leave the house.

We couldn’t even send Inayat to school, so she remained glued to for the whole day. It was a relief that I had completed the daily challenge before Inayat woke up, or it would have been impossible in her presence.

I spent the remaining day playing various gas with her. She would beco my teacher and beat up with a plastic stick, a housewife who cooks food for her husband who just returned from office work, or a princess who needs to be saved from monsters.

Playing with her was even more tiring than slaying a thousand monsters; however, that doesn’t an I didn’t like it. I was actually enjoying playing these gas with her, as her cute smile cald my heart and mind like therapy.

At night, when she finally fell asleep on my stomach, I gently put her on the bed, opened the window of my room, and stepped out.

The reporters and journalists were so relentless that they had settled camps outside the mansion, making it impossible to leave the house without getting bombarded by their questions.

However, I had another way to avoid them.

"Hah! You won’t even know that I left the mansion!" I scoffed, fixing my gaze on the farthest building I could see with the naked eye.

"Void Step."

My body instantly vanished from the house and materialised on top of the building I was staring at.

"Yin Energy -50"

Void Step allowed to teleport to any place that contained Yin Energy, so during the battle with Rudra, I used it to teleport near Jasmine since she contained Yin Energy. If the surroundings didn’t contain Yin Energy, this skill was pretty much useless.

But at night, when every outer surface of the world is covered in moonlight, this skill becos overpowered.

In just a dozen Void Steps, I reached inside the boundary of the Guild. Similar to our house, the Guild’s gate was also surrounded by nurous reporters.

Ignoring them, I directly reached the entrance of the building, where I was stopped by two guards wearing black formal attire.

"How did you enter inside!?" one of the guards demanded, their fingers quickly moving to the taser on their waist.

"Hey—hey—hey, calm down," I blurted. "I’m Raj. I ca to et my brother."

"Raj... I think I heard that na before," the guard mumbled, scratching his temple. "Now that I look at you, your face seems quite familiar too."

While he was muttering, the guard beside him imdiately bowed and said, pouring sweat, "We apologise for not recognising the Guildmaster’s younger brother. You may enter inside."

"H-He’s the Guildmaster’s younger brother!?" the confused guard gasped, imdiately paving the way.

As I was about to enter, the guard said, his voice laced with nervousness, "Sir, please don’t take offence at our inability to recognise you."

"Haha, don’t worry. I’m not that petty."

Once I reached inside, I called Sister Aisha and inford her that I had co here to et them.

In a few minutes, Jasmine reached the ground floor to pick up.

"Mr. Raj, is there so kind of ergency?" she asked, yawning. "It’s 1:30 at midnight."

Unlike her usual formal costu, Jasmine was wearing a short, loose shirt with nurous lily flowers designed on it.

"Haha, you’re looking cute in those," I chuckled, teasing her.

"It’s midnight and I’m off duty, so I was in my night suit when the Vice Guildmaster inford about your arrival," she began explaining with a blushed face, even though I hadn’t asked her.

"Oh, I’m sorry for troubling your sleep, Jasmine."

"It-it’s fine," she murmured before guiding . "Co this way."

"Wait, Jasmine, do you have a space bag?"

"I have one in my apartnt," she replied.

"Great! Can I borrow it for a few hours?"

"Ye-yeah, sure," she agreed, slightly confused about why I needed a space bag all of a sudden.

She went toward the lift and returned with a carry bag after five minutes.

I grabbed the bag, and we took the lift. This ti, after putting her card inside, she pressed the button for the 100th floor.

"Thank you and sorry, Mr. Raj," Jasmine suddenly said, her gaze fixed ahead.

"Huh! That ca out of nowhere."

"Thank you for saving that day, and forgive , as I was nothing but a burden to you. It was my duty to keep you safe, but—"

Before she could continue her whining, I lightly slapped her back and laughed.

"Stop talking like an idiot. I don’t like these formalities between friends."

"Fr-friends?"

"Yeah! We went through a life-and-death situation together. So we’re friends, right? Or is it only who was thinking that way?"

Her face suddenly turned red as she nodded.

"Y-yes... yes, we are friends."

"Haha, that’s more like it. Besides, I’ll be asking you to help a lot behind my brother’s back."

"I can’t betray the Guildmaster’s trust!" Jasmine stated, her eyes burning with loyalty.

A smile tugged at my face, seeing her flare up like that.

"Don’t worry. I’m not going to ask you to hand the property docunts of the Guild. We’ll just do this and that—little secrets between friends."

"Se-secrets?" The red blush on her face intensified even further, making wonder what that girl was actually thinking.

She was about to ask sothing, but then the lift doors slid open, and we reached the 100th floor of the building.

The lift doors revealed a grand hall with a large table close to the opposite glass wall. A luxurious sofa was placed parallel to the left wall, while on the right side, another table and a chair were placed. Beyond the glass wall at the front, the entire city could be seen.

"Whoah, this is amazing," I gasped, unable to hold in my amazent.

"This is the chair of our Guildmaster," Jasmine said, pointing at the large office chair placed before the table.

"And that is where our Vice Guildmaster sits," she added, pointing toward the table at the side wall.

"Ooo!" I mumbled before asking, "But where has that couple gone?"

"Follow ," Jasmine said, moving toward the door on the side wall near Sister Aisha’s table.

The mont the door opened, a booming sound of tal clashing occurred.

At the centre of the large hall—made by joining countless hexagonal bright white tiles—Aryan and Sister Aisha were having an intense spar.
