"Vivi, take out the Heart of the Fallen," Taranis ordered, stepping a few feet away from the bed.
"Warning! If the Heart of the Fallen is taken out here, its location will be revealed to every high-tier cultivator of Vyoman."
"Just do it," Taranis commanded.
A dark space tore open beside Taranis, and from within, a transparent, beating heart slowly erged, its interior glowing with countless colorful veins.
The mont the heart appeared, an overwhelming pressure descended upon the Hundred Sky Mountains.
Dan... dha... dhun...
Dan... dha... dhun...
Dan... dha... dhun...
The beating echoed as if a hamr were striking directly against one's heart. Lunaria instantly fell to the ground, clutching her chest tightly.
"Wh-what is this familiar feeling?" she gasped, breathing heavily.
Vyaghra barely managed to remain standing. He could feel that the heart demanded absolute obedience. The more he resisted, the more it felt as though his heart was being struck.
"It's still so unsettling," U muttered, clenching her teeth. Even though she had braced herself for the impact, she could barely maintain the flow of her Soulforce.
The heart slowly moved toward Taranis, burning the portion of his cloak around his chest.
"Beginning the absorption of the Heart of the Fallen. The host is advised not to lose consciousness.
All the best, Taranis!"
"What's with this sudden sentintal ssa—"
Before he could finish, multiple veins burst out from the heart like living serpents. They pierced into Taranis's chest, burrowing all the way to his heart.
Dark clouds covered the sky, and violent winds howled through the mountains. The sea level of the Abyssal Sea, which separated the four continents, surged violently, with massive waves crashing against the shores.
The mont the veins struck Taranis's heart, blood splattered from his mouth, and he collapsed to the floor.
"Aghhhhh!!!!!!"
Taranis's screams tore through the entire castle.
"Taranis..." U murmured, worry evident in her voice. She knew of his imnse pain tolerance and yet he was rolling on the ground. What level of agony must he be enduring to scream like this?
At his chest, the veins tore open a fist-sized hole, destroying his ribcage. The heart moved into his chest and touched his exposed, beating heart.
A brilliant light radiated from within as waves of energy surged outward, shaking the whole mountain.

Inside Taranis's Sea of Soulforce...
Tsunami waves and cyclones erupted across the golden sea. The Tree of Divinity which was at the late sapling stage, expanded rapidly. Its trunk thickened, and its branches spread outward. Within seconds, it grew into a fully mature tree, rising above the Sea of Soulforce.
Nurous colossal, colorful veins entered his inner world. They resembled the veins of the Heart of the Fallen, but on a massive scale. Each vein was as large as the trees of the Forest of Gumiho.
The veins began wrapping themselves around one of the three shackles binding the sun in the sky.
Within monts, the gigantic chain was completely engulfed.
All three chains trembled as sothing within the sun began to stir.
A vast amount of energy surged into the chain wrapped by the veins, turning it a scorching red.
Cracks began to form across the massive links. As more unknown energy poured in, the chain finally shattered and vanished into nothingness.
The sun glowed brighter than ever. Sothing within it struck violently, shaking the entire inner world.
The remaining two chains stretched tightly, restraining the raging entity inside.
---
The pain Taranis had been enduring suddenly vanished. The gaping hole in his chest healed, leaving behind a small golden gem embedded at the center.
Dan... dha... dhun...
Dan... dha... dhun...
Dan... dha... dhun...
His heart continued beating with the sa rhythm, but sothing had changed. Its ferocity had multiplied several tis, as if it were running wild within him, testing the limits of its vessel.
Lunaria collapsed unconscious. Vyaghra was forced to the ground, and U's Soulforce flow began to falter.
The castle trembled as debris fell from the ceiling.
Taranis's feet lifted off the ground. His hair turned shimring gold, and his pupils transford into vertical slits. From his back, a pair of ethereal golden wings erged, spreading wide as if asserting dominance.
"T-taranis... what in the world are you?" Vyaghra muttered before losing consciousness.
Taranis turned his gaze toward Nyria. With a re glance, her body rose from the bed and floated toward him.
His Divine Soulforce enveloped her, suppressing the Death Energy within her and forcing it below her face.
As she ca within inches of him, he pressed his lips against hers.
From the slit mark on Taranis's forehead, colorful veins erged and flowed into the mark on Nyria.
The sa mysterious energy that had broken the second seal of Taranis's bloodline surged through the veins.
The Death Energy within Nyria began to dissipate. Her hair shone with brilliant white light, and her pale skin beca even smoother, radiating a divine glow.
The veins retracted back into Taranis's forehead.
Nyria's eyebrows twitched. Slowly, her creamy eyes, filled with intricate ethereal patterns, opened.
She pulled away slightly, glancing downward, realizing she was floating midair, completely naked. The Death Energy had consud her robes.
"Hmm, this brings back mories," she murmured before locking eyes with Taranis again.
"You like doing inappropriate things to when I'm unconscious?" she hissed, narrowing her eyes. "Your hair is back to blonde, but what happened to your ey—"
Before she could finish, Taranis pressed his lips against hers again.
"Jeez, what's gotten into yo—"
She stopped upon seeing tears streaming down his face.
"You are still a crybaby," she sighed, cupping his cheeks before kissing him again.

"Lord Ancestor, we have located the source of this phenonon," said an elderly man with a beard reaching his feet. "It originates from the Hundred Sky Mountains of the Western Continent in the lower realm."
"The rhythm has changed from before. Summon the seven Slayers," said the handso young man seated upon a majestic throne floating in the clouds. "Those wretched creatures have appeared in Vyoman once again."
"Lord Ancestor, I have another matter to report," the old man added hesitantly.
"What is it?" the young man asked, his star-shaped pupils narrowing.
"Three of the four Beast Gods have escaped from the Forest of Gumiho."
"Did that fox escape as well?"
"Y-yes, Lord Anc—"
"Find and kill them!" the young man roared, forcing the old man to his knees with his voice alone.
"Y-yes, Lord Ancestor."

"Your offspring is as reckless as you, Maximilian Éclair Valcyrion Bane," murmured an extraordinarily handso man hovering high in the sky.
He had long crimson hair, vertical slit eyes of the sa color, and two abyssal black horns extending from his forehead to the back of his head. Behind him, a circular disc rotated, filled with ethereal patterns.
"Now that he has revealed himself to the world, those people will not let him live. And do not expect to save him this ti.
Our deal ended at the Sentinel Line."

Sowhere in the other part of Upper Realm...
Dan... dha... dhun...
Dan... dha... dhun...
Dan... dha... dhun...
An ethereal woman with long black hair tied in a topknot arrived before a colossal mountain, even larger than the Hundred Sky Mountains.
"BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
A thunderous voice shook the entire mountain.
"Master, behave yourself," the woman said, clearly irritated. "Because of your irresponsible laughter, several chambers of the sect have collapsed."
"BWAHAHAHA! CUT SO SLACK, MIN JI!" the voice bood, triggering landslides. "TODAY IS THE MOST BLESSED DAY OF VYOMAN IN THOUSAND YEARS."
"Master, are you asking for a beating?" Min Ji muttered. "You know I cannot understand the tongue of—"
"There, there. We are civilized people. No need for violence," the voice replied.
From behind the mountain, a massive claw, nearly a quarter of its size, gripped it firmly.
"Order all the sect elders to prepare to depart," the voice commanded.
"The rhythm has changed. We are going to the lower realm to protect the lord."
Min Ji's eyes widened in shock.
"Y-you an—"
"Hahaha! What you are thinking is correct, Min Ji.
This is the Return of the Mythic Bloodline."
