The wyverns approaching through the air had a hue close to sky blue.
They were Sky Wyverns.
“As expected.”
The mountain’s na, Sky Mountain, and the wyverns’ color confird that Suho had co to the right place.
Sensing their presence, Suho stepped away from the cliff he had been scaling and stood on a winding pathway.
He calmly waited for the creatures, his sword at his waist.

- Sky Wyvern Lv.100
- Sky Wyvern Lv.99
- Sky Wyvern Lv.101
The Sky Wyverns were mostly around Level 100.
It wasn’t just their levels that posed a challenge—they were hybrid offshoots of dragons and flying creatures, giving them imnse innate power from birth.
As the wyverns finally caught sight of Suho, their reactions were instantaneous.
“Chrrk?”
For a mont, the Sky Wyverns doubted their eyes.
They knew there was an intruder in their territory, but to their surprise, the invader was a lone human.
Worse, this person stood brazenly holding a asly sword, as if waiting for them to approach.
It was almost laughable.
Among all the intruders who had dared to set foot here, this one looked the most reckless and insignificant.
Rather than being angry, the wyverns found it amusing.
This fool was clearly a novice adventurer, soone who hadn’t yet grasped how dangerous the world could be.
And so, the cunning wyverns decided to play with their prey.
Like orcas toying with their al before devouring it, they plotted to tornt this intruder before finishing him off.
The first move? Knocking him off balance with powerful gusts from their wings.
At their leader’s signal, the Sky Wyverns shifted formation from a horizontal line to a vertical one.
They approached Suho and suddenly shot upward, creating a massive vortex of wind around him.
The intense currents shook the area, aiming to dislodge Suho.
But when they looked back, they saw sothing they hadn’t expected.
“...?!”
The intruder hadn’t budged. He stood firm, unfazed and unwavering.
Suho snorted.
“Clever little creatures. Your patterns are so predictable.”
He anticipated that they’d attempt the sa tactic again, angrier this ti.
But Suho had no intention of playing along.
As the wyverns moved to generate another gust, Suho unsheathed his sword in a wide arc and unleashed a horizontal slash.

Schrrrk!
A satisfying sensation of cutting through sothing tough ran through his blade.
The Quick Draw activated, and Suho’s crimson sword left a glowing red trail as it sliced deeply into the abdon of one wyvern.
It was a clean hit.
Proof of this ca in the form of blood splattering through the air.
“Kiiiirk!”
The leader wyvern shrieked, both startled and enraged.
Despite keeping its distance to avoid Suho’s reach, the seemingly insignificant swordsman had used so strange sorcery to inflict damage.
The leader decided to change tactics.
The intruder was immune to their wind attacks, and the wyverns, known for their cunning, never let pride blind their judgnt.
“Kyahhhh!”
At the leader’s command, the Sky Wyverns scattered and began circling Suho from a distance, pressing him with their sheer presence.
The leader believed this would cause psychological pressure on their prey.
At least, that’s what the wyvern assud.
Suho chuckled.
“Typical wyvern behavior.”
He had seen this kind of strategy countless tis.
Suho wasn’t just familiar with Sky Mountain gate information—wyverns in general always behaved this way.
This was exactly why he had co alone.
If the wyverns believed the intruder was alone, they would underestimate him and make tactical errors.
The circling wyverns suddenly charged toward Suho all at once.
“Kyaaaah!”
When they were almost upon him, all but one suddenly pulled back with powerful wingbeats, leaving a single wyvern to lunge forward.
A feint.
The real attack would co from the final wyvern.
But Suho wasn’t fooled.
Calmly waiting, he unleashed his blade the mont the last wyvern ca within range.
[ Quick Draw activates. ]
Shraaaak!
A crimson blade flashed, cutting deeply into the final wyvern.
It was a devastating hit.
The wyvern’s body was left tattered, flesh and blood scattering into the air.
However, it wasn’t dead—just gravely wounded.
It howled in pain.
“Kyaaaaa!!”

[ Dragon Blood activates. ]
[ The immunity effect of Dragon Blood negates Fear. ]
Being a draconic subspecies, the wyverns’ Fear skill had no effect on Suho, thanks to his Dragon Blood.
Frustrated, the leader wyvern screeched, rallying its forces again.
Ti passed, and the Sky Wyverns began to lose their will to fight.
Dozens of attacks, each employing different tactics, had all failed.
Even a desperate attempt to hurl massive boulders at Suho had been t with failure, as he simply sliced them apart with ease.
To make matters worse, the reach of Suho’s crimson blade seed to be increasing with every strike.
“Krrrk…”
The leader wyvern, heavily injured and disheartened, finally made a decision.
It gave the order to retreat.
But just as they began to withdraw, Suho sprang into action.
[ Leap activates. ]
[ Spear Throw activates. ]
With a powerful leap, Suho hurled a spear-like weapon with pinpoint accuracy.
Crunch!
The weapon pierced the leader wyvern’s wing, sending it plumting to the ground.
“Crrrk!”
Desperately flapping its remaining wing, the wyvern tried to stay aloft but failed.
As it shrank into the distance below, Suho smirked.
“You’re not going anywhere.”
With the leader incapacitated, the remaining wyverns scattered in panic.
Suho, now alone, took a deep breath and prepared himself.
[ Entering the Boss Room. ]
Crossing the threshold, the wind grew fiercer, and the surrounding clouds beca visibly thicker.
This was the true domain of the skies.
- KRAAAAWRRR!!
A thunderous roar shook the heavens.

The colossal presence of the Sky Wyvern King cast a shadow over Suho.
Unlike its lesser kin, this wyvern was enormous, nearly dragon-like in size and stature.
- Sky Wyvern King Lv.113
“First ti seeing one in person,” Suho murmured, eyeing the massive creature’s naplate.
It was the highest-level monster he had encountered so far.
“Let’s get started,” Suho said, gripping his crimson blade tightly as he began scaling the cliff toward the king’s nest.
The Sky Wyvern King’s piercing gaze followed his every move.
