"Did you invite ?" Qiao Yutong sat in the passenger seat, rolling her eyes at Song Xiaodong.
"Well, you’re benefiting from my connection too." Song Xiaodong replied.
"Hmph, if it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t even go if others invited . You should feel honored to have as your plus one." Qiao Yutong scoffed at Song Xiaodong.
"Alright, alright, thanks Deputy Director Qiao for gracing us with your presence." Song Xiaodong answered.
"Oh, I told you, don’t call Deputy Director Qiao anymore." Qiao Yutong said unhappily.
"Okay, Xiao Qiao." Song Xiaodong called with a smile.
"You!" Qiao Yutong lightly punched Song Xiaodong’s arm.
"No, no, I’m driving, I’m driving." Song Xiaodong said.
"You’re just asking for it." Qiao Yutong said to Song Xiaodong.
"You’re not hitting , you’re flirting with ." Song Xiaodong said playfully.
"Who’s flirting with you, shaless." Qiao Yutong said, her voice growing quieter as she turned her whole body towards the window.
"Then tell what should I call you? Yutong? Tong Tong?" Song Xiaodong blinked and turned to ask Qiao Yutong.
"I don’t care, whatever you like!" Qiao Yutong said, her ears turning red, turning her body away to avoid letting Song Xiaodong see her face.
"No, call whatever you want in private, but in front of others, it’s better to call Deputy Director." Song Xiaodong said, glancing at Qiao Yutong out of the corner of his eye.
"What do you an by ’call whatever you want in private’? Who gave you permission to call whatever you want in private?" Qiao Yutong turned her head, raised her eyebrows, and shouted at Song Xiaodong.
"Tong Tong, don’t be mad!" Song Xiaodong said with a mischievous smile.
"You..." Qiao Yutong didn’t say anything, pouting her lips, crossing her arms, and turning back to look out the window without speaking.
"Tong Tong, what’s wrong? Why did you turn away from ?" Song Xiaodong continued to call Qiao Yutong.
Qiao Yutong did not respond, continuing to look out the window.
"Tong Tong? Don’t be angry, I was just joking!" Song Xiaodong said.
"Tong Tong?"
"Tong Tong?"
"Oh, stop calling , you’re giving goosebumps!" Qiao Yutong turned her head, annoyed, showing Song Xiaodong the goosebumps on her fair arm.
Song Xiaodong drooled at the sight.
"You better call Deputy Director Qiao instead."
Getting out, Song Xiaodong got out of the car first, walked over to open the door for Qiao Yutong, then extended his hand to hold hers, helping her out of the car, offering his arm for her to link into.
"What’s this?" Qiao Yutong raised her eyes and asked Song Xiaodong.
"Quick." Song Xiaodong shook his arm.
"Ha ha—" Qiao Yutong understood, and generously linked her arm with Song Xiaodong’s, her chest nudging against his elbow intentionally or unintentionally.
"I think you’re just looking for a fight. Let tell you, if a fight breaks out, I’ll really arrest you!"
Qiao Yutong held onto Song Xiaodong’s arm as they slowly walked, her head leaning against his arm as she spoke to him.
"What if soone else starts on first?" Song Xiaodong asked.
"If you don’t fight back, then I’ll arrest them." Qiao Yutong said.
"Why can’t I fight back if I’m being attacked?" Song Xiaodong protested.
"You can fight back if you’re not afraid of ending up in jail." Qiao Yutong said.
"Oh, I should’ve known not to invite you." Song Xiaodong scratched his head, feeling exasperated.
"Hmph, inviting doesn’t stop from arresting you." Qiao Yutong pinched Song Xiaodong’s arm.
"Got it..." Song Xiaodong replied, dragging out his tone.
Qiao Yutong wrapped her arm around Song Xiaodong’s as they entered the restaurant, finding the table of foreign investors.
Song Xiaodong quickly glanced around; the people present included Yang Chao, Wang Hongfei, Li Fanglan, and other foreign investors whose nas he couldn’t recall.
Seeing Qiao Yutong linked arm-in-arm with Song Xiaodong, Wang Hongfei’s expression imdiately turned sour.
"Oh, I’m really sorry, there was a bit of traffic, so we’re running a bit late." Song Xiaodong quickly bowed his head, apologizing to everyone.

"Please have a seat, let’s continue talking sitting down." Yang Chao invited Song Xiaodong and Qiao Yutong to take seats.
Wang Hongfei’s expression was dark as he remained silent.
After sufficiently displaying his close relationship with Qiao Yutong, Song Xiaodong finally sat down, feeling satisfied.
Qiao Yutong glanced sideways at Song Xiaodong, staying silent.
