Curious about what her friends had just said, Jess forced herself out of bed, even though she still felt sleepy.
She hadn’t been able to sleep last night, thinking about all the lewd things she had done with Jeff—and the conversation she’d had with Mira and Mina, especially the part about sharing Jeff with them. Or more accurately, having a fourso.
It’s not like she was interested. Or maybe she was. Either way, her curiosity wouldn’t let her fully forget about it.
With her eyes still half-closed, Jess looked at the video Mira and Mina were showing her on their smartphones. Onscreen, a crazy topless masked guy was kicking Trud, who was already down on the ground.
The assault by Jeff, Kris, and Marc against Trud and his henchn, Henry and Francis, had been caught on the parking lot’s CCTV. The footage had been uploaded online and gone viral in less than an hour.
The video was clear enough to show Trud’s face as he was dragged from his car and pathetically beaten. However—
"How are you two sure that Jeff is one of these three crazy topless masked guys?"
"You really are a virgin and innocent, our dearest Jess."
"Aside from losing your virginity during this vacation, your other goal is to morize your boyfriend’s body."
"Stop saying those indecent things already!... And Jeff’s not my boyfriend yet!"

Putting aside Mira and Mina’s teasing about Jess’s innocence, they were able to recognize Jeff even through his disguise.
Though they didn’t have much experience with n—thanks to their own unique relationship—they had morized Jeff’s body shape at first glance and easily recognized him in the video.
All it took was seeing Jeff and Jess doing lewd things in the dimly lit room last night.
Not only Jeff—they also recognized Kris and Marc.
They’d seen Kris and Marc’s naked bodies from another video that went viral: a wrestling match on the beach where Jeff and Marc fought over a white swimsuit top, ending with all three—including Kris—naked.
"We have our ways, Jess. So believe us when we tell you it was Jeff and his friends."

At the vacant lot beside the hotel, where overgrown trees served as natural cover—perfect for hiding—Jeff was waiting for Jess.
"Thanks for coming, Jess."
She arrived just before noon, wearing a light brown sumr hat and a white short slip dress.
Seeing Jeff—dressed in white swim trunks and a matching shirt, a stark contrast from the disguise he’d worn during the ambush—Jess imdiately ran toward him.
She must be worried, Jeff thought. He assud she’d seen the viral video of their assault on Trud.
Jeff opened his arms for a welcoming embrace—but Jess wasn’t looking for a hug.
The mont she reached him, she suddenly stopped, readied her stance, and threw a straight right punch at his face.
Jeff barely dodged, but her fist grazed his left cheek, leaving it red.
Jess followed up with a second strike, closing the distance between them until their faces were inches apart. Then she landed a left body blow.
This ti, Jeff couldn’t dodge. He dropped to his knees, clutching his stomach and wondering why Jess was angry again.
Is she mad about what I did to Trud? Does she actually care about that bastard?
His questions were answered when he looked up at Jess.
She stood in front of him, hands and legs trembling, tears threatening to spill from her eyes.
"Why would you do sothing so dangerous? What if sothing bad happened to you? What if you were the one taken by the police?"
So she’s worried about .
With that thought, Jeff stood and embraced her.
Jess didn’t resist. She wrapped her arms around him and buried her face in his chest, hiding the tears as best she could.
Eventually, Jess cald down, though she and Jeff remained in each other’s arms.
Taking advantage of the mont, Jeff asked what had been bothering him.
"If you’re worried about , did you really have to punch like that, Jess?"
"I’ll punch you whenever and wherever I want, idiot."
When Jess finally grew self-conscious about the embrace and pulled away, Jeff took the opportunity to explain why he’d asked her to et.
"What do you want to do today, Jess?"
"Idiot, it’s already noon. You’ve wasted half the day."
Of course, it was obvious they’d be spending ti together during the vacation. But that wasn’t Jeff’s only reason for acting more eager than usual.
While waiting for Jess, another quest from the Returner Fantasy System had triggered—one that made Jeff both excited and anxious.

So the ti has finally co, Jeff thought, doing his best to keep a poker face—though to Jess, it just made him look like an idiot.
"That’s why we need to hurry, Jess. So where do you want to go? Explore the beach? Or maybe just stay in my hotel room? Just the two of us."
"Ehh?..."
Jess looked at Jeff, surprised—and blushing. Obviously, he was inviting her to his hotel room alone.
Her intuition told her it was definitely going to happen if she agreed. Or so she thought, as her face and ears turned red.
Jess did want to spend more ti with Jeff. It would be nice to explore the beach first, have fun... then head to Jeff’s room in the evening and—
—Boom!—
—Setting aside her imaginary brain explosion, Jess realized sothing: Jeff couldn’t explore the beach today.
Even with their disguises, soone like Mira or Mina might recognize them from the video. The hotel staff could be looking for them. The police might even co back to arrest them.
At least, that’s what Jess assud.
In reality, Jeff was confident no one would recognize them in their nude disguise—or so he thought.
Also, the hotel staff wouldn’t interfere now that the police were involved. And as for the police? One of them was an alumnus from Jeff’s high school and a mber of the Ironrod Legion.
Jeff, Kris, and Marc had contacted him, using their connections and Jeff’s status as an Ironrod Champion, to report Trud’s possession of illegal sex drugs.
Jeff wanted to explain this to Jess. But if he did, she’d probably refuse to go to his hotel room.
He needed a place where they could be alone for the day. After all, Quest 8 involved taking Jess’s virginity.
What miracle would it take to make that happen without forcing her or relying on her pushover nature?
He already had a plan. Everything now depended on Jess.
Seeing her hesitate, Jeff tried again.
"Didn’t I say I won’t do anything you dislikes—"
But before he could finish.
"Fine... Let’s go to your hotel room, Jeff."
