"So, what do you want?" Jeff asked, getting dressed in the casual clothes he had brought with the intention of staying the night.
"Cook a hamburger steak then..." Nubia murmured, feeling a bit flustered now that their relationship had grown beyond close friendship.
Although they were only going to the ground floor of the luxury apartnt building, Nubia had dressed a little fancy, wearing a white long-sleeve top and jeans, while Jeff wore a simple gray shirt and shorts.
"Aren’t you overdressed, Nubia-senpai? We’re just going to the grocery store downstairs."
"The people working there know I own this building. I at least want to be presentable in front of them."
"Then should I dress up as well?"
"That should be fine... I an... what’s wrong if... my boyfriend... is wearing casual clothes..."
When it was just the two of them, they were each other’s lovers. That was Nubia and Jeff’s current—and new—relationship, at least until Nubia realized Jeff was teasing her again by ntioning that Jess still didn’t know about his Harem x Yuri plan.
"Then can you say it again?" Jeff said, pulling Nubia close and gazing into her eyes.
"I... love you... Jeff," Nubia murmured, averting her gaze and feeling embarrassed expressing her feelings. Yet her flustered, blushing face only made Jeff want to kiss her again.
At the grocery store, even in the elevator and lobby of the six-story building, Nubia was greeted by people who knew her. While they were familiar with Jeff as her friend, so could tell their relationship had changed, simply because they refused to let go of each other’s hands—even though Nubia clearly got flustered whenever soone greeted them.
It was already dark by the ti they finished shopping. Back at Nubia’s apartnt, Jeff imdiately started preparing dinner. He unpacked the groceries on the dining table, separating ingredients, snacks, drinks, and the box of condoms—

Looking at each other, one was shocked, the other confused, Jeff boldly asked the most important question:
"Can’t I do it raw, Nubia-senpai?"
"Then why did you buy that freaking condom?!" Nubia snapped, grabbing a pack of chocolate and throwing it at his face.
"Ehh?... Aren’t you the one who bought it?"
"Why would I buy a condom at a store where every employee knows who I am, idiot?"
"So you’re saying you want it raw too—"
Embarrassed at the thought of what Jeff was implying would happen later, Nubia threw a pack of chips at his face, cutting off his mischief.
Regardless of his teasing, Jeff hadn’t actually bought the condom—though it was the right size for him.
He had been holding the grocery basket earlier, but it was Nubia who had carried the basket and paid at the counter, where she could have easily slipped the box of condoms into the bag. Still, considering how shy and ek she was when it ca to romance and intimacy, there was no way she could have bought it herself.
Setting the mystery of the condoms aside, Jeff began cooking while Nubia changed into casual clothes—a black sleeveless turtleneck top, a bit revealing and enticing.

Trying to regain her composure, Nubia shifted back to her calm, business-minded deanor and discussed the details of Jess’s employnt while sitting at the dining table, watching Jeff cook the hamburger steak.
