"Do you really have a solution?" He asked, eyes shining with hope.
Alia removed her heel, placing her foot on his chest with an alluring grace.
"Of course," she said seductively. "Do you want to hear it?"
Neil gulped, caressing her foot and ankle with trembling hands.
He nodded desperately.
"Then listen." She crossed her other leg, pressing it against his chest as well. "In all these years with my late husband and your friend, I learned a few things from him. In bed, he would answer anything I asked him."
"One night, after our passionate sex, I asked him—’If your company were getting boycotted, what would you do?’"
She looked at Neil and asked, "Do you know what he said?"
Neil shook his head lightly, looking intently at her to know the answer.
He felt that her next words might be the key to escaping from their current predicant.
Alia smiled and answered, "He said—’People are easy to manipulate because you aren’t dealing with one intelligent individual or one fool—they are a mix. You can target the emotional fools among them to break their unity apart.
Let’s say soone from our company was involved in a scandal, resulting in the boycott. I would first get rid of them because they are the target of the public’s anger. Then I would stage a fake accident on soone important or dear to .
Once people see that I’m suffering and soone dear to is near death’s door, the emotional fools among them would soften and stop boycotting us. They will hesitate to hurt soone who is already down and pitiful. So of them might even co forward to support us in our tis of need.
Other than that, I will try to distract the public’s attention to sothing else. Let’s say the victim is accusing the whole company and asking people to boycott us. I will accuse them of sothing heinous instead. I could accuse them of being the ones who planned the accident on my loved one. Or it could be as simple as getting a struggling actress to file a fake r*pe attempt on them.
Once the public sees the other side as evil, they will stop boycotting us.’"
Alia smiled. "This was his answer."
Neil’s eyes widened, realizing that this was the plan he was looking for.
This was how he was going to save his company from falling.
"Brilliant!" he praised with an excited smile. "Even in death, my dear friend continues to help ."
Alia raised her leg, caressing his neck before lowering her toe inside his collar seductively.
Neil stroked her knee, his gaze hungry when looking at her thighs and the darkness underneath her dress, hiding her sacred place from his gaze.
"He was a genius when it ca to business." Alia said, "Just that he was an emotional fool himself."
"Can you bla him?" Neil smirked, rising from his chair, grabbing her thighs. "Anyone will lose their mind with you around. He was madly in love with you, and I’m no different." He whispered into her ear before kissing it.
"Aren’t you afraid of your wife being mad after hearing this?" She said, running her hands through his dark blue hair.
He kissed her neck before speaking as his breath brushed her skin. "And who is going to tell her? I only married her because my father forced to. Otherwise, how could I’ve married her instead of you? You are my childhood sweetheart after all."
His father owned a factory in a small town, and for that small inheritance, his father put a condition. Marry his friend’s daughter, or else he wasn’t going to receive a penny from him.
Of course, this inheritance, alongside the money his wife invested, beca the capital to start Titan Crest Entertainnt.
As for Alia, she ca from a common background and was a childhood friend of Neil’s who later beca his lover.
He nibbled on her neck, sucking it.
"Mm~ If you love so much, didn’t you feel jealous when seeing in Aren’s arms all these years?"
He bit her neck lightly as he heard her question.
Looking into her eyes, he gave a displeased look. "You know everything, yet you tease ."
Alia revealed an amused smile. "It’s fun to see you act like this. Co on, say it."
He sighed in defeat. "Of course, I felt angry, but knowing that even the daughter he loved was actually mine was enough compensation."
He looked at the ceiling with a solemn gaze.
"If only I had Aren’s talent in business... I wouldn’t have to see you in his arms all these years."
In building Titan Crest Entertainnt, Neil’s only contribution was the capital he received from his father. In reality, Aren was the one making decisions and putting in the hard work.
After being his friend for many years, Neil already knew that Aren was destined to succeed with that talent of his; thus, he offered to start a company alongside him.
The only problem was that he had to give him thirty percent of shares in the company. It wasn’t a problem at first, but as the valuation of the company increased, Neil’s apprehension grew.
What if Aren sold his shares and started his own company with his new capital?
He knew that all the celebrities in his agency were loyal to Aren, not him.
If Aren left, the celebrities would leave with him.
In this way, the actual chairman of Titan Crest Entertainnt wasn’t him, but Aren instead.
He needed so way to keep Aren bound to Titan Crest Entertainnt and also a way to get those shares back from him.
It was then that he decided to trust the only person he truly loved, Alia.
He allowed Aren to marry Alia, and then Alia ensured that Aren wouldn’t leave Titan Crest Entertainnt.
However, even Alia wasn’t able to stop him from deciding to exit Titan Crest Entertainnt after twenty years.
Aren wanted to start his own agency to let his daughter have a better future. He planned to sell the shares and start his own company.
As soon as Alia inford Neil, Neil knew it was ti to execute their plan.
They needed to kill Aren to let Alia inherit his shares.
In truth, Aren hadn’t caught Neil and Alia in the act that day; it was actually their intention.
They had planned for everything.
It was just that... strangely, Alia didn’t want to face him in his death.
.
Neil looked at her, raising her chin lightly, gazing into her crimson eyes.
"You never loved Aren, right?"
Alia jerked his hand away, annoyed. "How many tis will you ask the sa question?"
"Answer ," Neil insisted. "Please."
She sighed. "I betrayed him. I ate contraceptive pills to not get pregnant by him. You tell , could I have loved him?"
Neil smiled in satisfaction. "Good. That’s what I wanted to hear."
"Now," he put his hand between her thighs, "spread your legs and let have a taste."
