The following day, when the rankings of trending dramas were released, sothing shocking had happened.
Netizens were stunned to see the updated popularity scores of each drama. However, among them, two dramas specifically caught their attention.
[Am I seeing things? Are these popularity scores correct? Did they make a mistake?]
In the rankings, The Insiders, still holding on to 114,000 till yesterday, had suddenly dipped to 99,000 . anwhile, To Your Heart, which everyone had ridiculed before the clash, had fetched a popularity score of 108,000 from yesterday’s episode.
To Your Heart had officially grabbed the first place in the rankings, which shocked everyone.
[Just what are they showing in this show for it to defeat The Insiders? Are there nude girls?]
[I haven’t watched any of the drama in the current ranking, but even I never thought an AxisPlay drama would be first in the rankings so day.]
[Wasn’t this show being heavily criticized for glorifying violence and bullying? Why is it first?]
[Dragon Films losing against AxisPlay? Has the end of the world co early?]
anwhile, AxisPlay, To Your Heart, and the cast all shared the screenshot of the rankings on their official PulseX account.
However, when Aren posted it, his comnt section was filled with Theon’s fans hating on him.
[You faded star! Shaless bastard! How can you show off when Theon is sad? Do you have no common sense?]
[What are you trying to show? This is only this one ti. The next week’s rankings will put you below The Insiders again.]
[Sigh... such shalessness. The Insiders were on top for all this ti, but did they show off? This just goes to show the difference between class.]
anwhile, before Theon’s fans could fully vent out their frustration, Aren shared another post.
[Thank you, Theon, and his fans. It’s because of them constantly ntioning and To Your Heart that viewers beca curious and gave the drama a watch. I’m truly grateful. And Theon... Ventage Forever💜]
As soon as this post went live, Theon’s fans went crazy under the comnt sections.
[You shaless Asshole! How dare you make fun of Theon?! Did the backing of that trashy show give you this much confidence?]
[Don’t let see you in person, bastard! I’ll beat you up!]
[Are you mocking Theon? You think you are worthy? You lost the audition to him, don’t forget.]
[Ventage Forever? Don’t even dare to ntion that, you bastard! You were the reason the group disbanded! How dare you try to ride on its popularity?!]
[Die! Disappear! I can’t stand you and your shalessness.]
Theon’s fans were so angry that due to their frantic curses, Aren’s post began to trend on PulseX.
Aren also noticed another trend, so were defending him in the comnt section, a sight he had never seen before.
[Hahaha, Aren finally trolled these haters. I was getting tired of them bitching on everything related to Aren.]
To the "Die" comnt, one fan replied:
[Why don’t you disappear?]
To the comnt threatening to beat Aren, another replied:
[You think you can beat Aren? Go and watch Shin’s fight in the latest episode and try to say that again.]
In the anti, Bonh, the dia house, released articles, most probably due to being paid by AxisPlay.
’To Your Heart dominates the rankings. Surpasses Dragon Films’ The Insiders. Click to find the full story...’
’AxisPlay’s newly gained subscription numbers might shock you. Click to find the exact number...]
’Is this the result of the clash? Is To Your Heart the final victor, or is there a twist awaiting ahead?’
These articles attracted even new viewers to the show, just out of curiosity. They wanted to see what enabled AxisPlay’s drama to surpass The Insiders.
The Insiders was more popular due to the extensive marketing and promotions by Dragon Films, leaving most of the people in the country aware of its na at least.
However, To Your Heart was obscure in comparison, and when new viewers looked at the rankings, they went to check it out.
Moreover, the main reason for To Your Heart’s increasing popularity was The Insiders’ latest episode, which made many of the viewers drop the show.
...
"It’s just a complete trash drama, isn’t it?"
In a luxurious apartnt in Blemure City, the sound of sothing hitting the marble floor echoed loudly. Theon had just smashed a watch. Seeing his outburst, his manager gave him a disapproving look.
This watch was from the sa luxurious brand nad Koar, from which Theon wanted a brand endorsent.
Fortunately, he had broken the watch in private. If the brand representatives found out, it would have been disastrous.
He had been counting on The Insiders to remain above 100,000 in popularity to secure the brand endorsent, but now that it had fallen to 99,000 , there were few chances of it.
Theon was furious, on the verge of losing his mind.
Initially, he had dismissed To Your Heart as a garbage show from a garbage platform, hoping to crush it with a direct clash with The Insiders.
But the result ca out to be the complete opposite. By the seventh episode, To Your Heart had managed to defeat the star-studded The Insiders, a feat that seed impossible to many.
Moreover, with that trashy drama as his backing, Aren was acting like he was above him. He had also seen his recent post and had even wanted to give a fitting reply, but nothing ca to mind.
Just what was wrong?
He couldn’t understand.
To check for the reason for this sudden dip in the popularity score, Theon decided to go to PulseX to see the reactions to the latest episode.
[What is even going on in The Insiders? Why are Theon’s appearances surpassing even the leads?]
[This last episode really made my stomach churn. I don’t think I can continue this show anymore.]
[There is such a difference in Ryan’s performance and Theon’s acting. Ryan’s understanding of the character operates on a profound level, while Theon’s ends at the surface. It’s hurtful to watch them acting together in the sa scene.]
[Who is even the lead at this point? I’m pretty sure Theon has more screen ti than Ryan. And what is up with that hopeless chemistry of Theon’s romantic subplots? It’s hurtful to watch.]
