In a gloomy concrete-erected building located deep in the wood, five people could barely be seen sitting at a large round wooden table. Four males huddled together, and it seed like they were discussing sothing important, but one in particular stood out the most amongst the five of them.
A woman — tall, with dark brown silky hair that reached past her chocolate-skinned shoulders, and slanted piercing brown eyes — sat on a high wooden chair, which looked the sa as others, but one thing was different.
The wooden chair, which was seemingly covered with animal skin, set her apart from others whose own were plain. Her dark eyes quickly scanned the insides of the room she was in, then fixated themselves on a window, noting how bleak and bare the room looked...
The animal skin, that covered her chair could hardly be seen except for the illumination of the moon.
You would wonder, why a woman's chair is the one with the skins, and not one of the males who were discussing over sothing on a map. But of course, it was supposed to be like that after all, she was one of the strongest people in her tribe, if not the strongest. She liked it that way, the skins showed her rank in her clan, and she reveled in it.
Her long chocolate legs tapped on the concrete floor, making light sounds, as she listened to what they were saying, while imparting her thoughts. She suddenly crossed one leg on top of another, which made the lion-skinned material that barely covered her thighs fly back at the sheer force of her movent, leaving the rest of her thighs upwards to one's imagination, but she paid it no heed.
The girl looked out the windows once again, and she sighed softly, her shoulders wearing down, with only one thought in her mind.
‘It is going to be a long night.’

Hi loves!! Alrt! This is just a short chapter, so I just wanna say a tinny-winsy sothing, yeah?
I decided to try a new thing because I'm not white; I'm African. So like thinking about how Ndi Obodo Oyibo acts and behaves isn't my thing. I write what I see, and what is based on my nationality. Hope you get what I'm tryna say. Another thing, I started writing this book, on January sth, 2024. Just in case you want to know... Abeg don't judge , please.
So just to remind y'all, this book is completely my idea. Actions and events, along with nas (if there will be any) aren't gotten from one another. I'm going to write sothing more traditionally based, so it may contain so old, traditional practices and so on...
