The beyond was always this strange regarding its weather changes.
When other Kingdoms are in either the dry or rainy season, the outside would still be greeny and full of vitality. It was as though the forest — jungle — was a different space on its own, and that was simply bizarre.
Different philosophers, as they call themselves, had studied its weird characteristics, but they were rewarded with nothing. They had only said that it was too dangerous to journey through, as a crew of well-known brainy n from each Kingdom tead up for research, only for one person to survive. But of course, this caused enemity amongst them, because they thought it was all a plan to kill off their n.
The barrier made it so that anyone who had been banished from a Kingdom would lose most of their mories of their life before their exile, making it a lawless place.
The beyond was terrifying, inhibited by either wild animals or dangerous humans who had committed serious cris against the people of a Kingdom or the Kingdom itself. Although it was sothing that looked like it ca out of a fairytale, it was deadly and anyone who doesn't know anything about how to safely navigate the large expanse of forest will beco prey to the predators. Here in the beyond, there is no such thing as leadership.
No, there is a hierarchy, where the predators beco prey and prey beco predators. The forest stands on survival of the fittest and jungle rule, everyone is either using or being used.
If one can't live by the rules of the jungle, then they would be swept away by the tide; lost — deserted.
The female, still lying unconscious on the grass with her hair sprawled around her was oblivious to her surroundings. Her breath hitched lightly, an indication that she was starting to wake up. Her eyes fluttered as she slowly blinked, wanting to accommodate to harsh rays of the sun glaring at her. She hurriedly sat up, confused at her environnt as her eyes warily glanced through the lush forest.
Birds chirping sounds blended in symphony to the seemingly serene aura the forest beholds.
She shifted uncomfortably when she heard the shuffling of grasses at a nearby distance and she sat on her knees, wanting to peek at what was bringing forth the noise. The tension in the female's body could be visibly seen by anyone, when her hands tightened into fists, clenching hard at the grass beneath her. Her posture relaxed when she saw that it wasn't anything threatening, but was only a cute little, white-furred animal.
Both creatures paused in confusion, neither wanting to break their focused stance. The creature's button nose twitched as it hopped closer towards her, while the female cocked her head in confusion.
‘What in the gods' na is this creature?! It — it's so little,’ she cooed in her head. Not wanting to frighten the furred animal, she slowly shifted her position, leaning on her knees after she stretched her hand forth. Her eyes glead with curiosity and sothing else, as she continued to look at the animal that ca closer to her.
The little, white-furred creature stood in closer proximity to her than before, as it gazed up at her brown orbs with its dark beady eyes. It sniffed at her outstretched hands, then it hopped into her palm which made the female surprised. She petted the animal, making it loosen its guard towards her not knowing that she was looking at it with sothing other than curiosity.
A loud squeak rang out, and the female was later seen roasting at over the fire she had lit, with the only thing in her mind being; ‘Tasty!’
