“Sir!” Soone called out. He paused, panting to catch his breath. “They are moving out right now.” He said to another person.

The man who looked like he had run several miles was later excused by the other male.

The man clenched his fists in anger and sothing else when he said, “This is all wrong! It wasn't supposed to be this way,” with gritted teeth.

“Looks like they are ready to move,” A man said. Looking at a female behind him, he hurriedly wrote a letter and gave it to the girl for it to be sent across to sobody else.

A man, whom the other person had ntioned, walked out on the girl after he received the letter, and when he read what it contained, he smiled a wicked one.

“While the cat is chasing the mouse, the lion already has both trapped without it knowing”. He said to no one.

Their troops had encountered a lot of causalities that night, but she was relieved that not much was lost in the woods. They crossed the border of the male's forr clan before she took over it, out of the Kingdom.

The male had known that without an heir, the barrier would weaken and then eventually fall. It was weak now, the barrier, and the male used it to his advantage.

The barrier rippled as she easily crossed over with her n, back to the place she had been dumped in the past; the beyond. Not wanting to dwell on that matter for too long, she pushed it out of her head and told her n that they'd rest here for that night.

Tomorrow they all would journey again...

Early in the break of dawn, they had already prepared to continue to be on the move. The sun was dim that day as if the evening was coming closer.

After taking a short break so that her n wouldn't be weakened from exhaustion, they got to the mountainous Area of Desolation in the afternoon. The female and her n were almost blinded and pushed by the harsh winds of the land, but they were lucky to arrive at the male's camp.

The female, who was with few of her n confronted them from the front of the camp, while the rest that split up from them cornered them from the cliff.

The male and his warriors ca out, surrounding him with a stern face as they looked at her. They were packed with armor and guns, along with other warheads. The female was confused when she saw the guns because she thought that she was the only person who regulated the distribution of the item. Apart from her and the whites, no one else had access to the guns.

Her mind whirred in thinking when she fixated on that word.

‘The whites!’ she suddenly exclaid in her head. ‘What in the world are they planning now?’ The female thought again.

She had known never to trust them and that she had done, but seeing that the male, apart from her, had sothing of theirs they had brought for this very mont, it seed unlikely that they weren't planning anything against her and the Kingdom.

‘I'll have a word with them later, but now —’ she stopped.

“What is all this now? Haven't you done enough —?” He questioned, and just as he was about to say her na, she cut him off.

“Enough? Do you know what they had done to ? With ?!” She asked; “That wasn't enough, and this isn't either.” She had said, her body trembling from emotions which have been buried a long ti ago. A hand was placed on her shoulder, and her tensed body relaxed, still a little bit on edge.

The male tried pacifying her, “I... I don't know what they had done to you, but I didn't an it to go that —”

“The gods be damned by what you say!” Soone yelled from her side, and her males seeing that she was in a daze, trying to catch up with everything, gave the order.

The male, who tried hard to calm the female down, was startled when one of her companions shouted, “Charge!” to the males behind him.

The armored n charged with vigor, and even though they weren't sure why they were fighting the opposite male, what they knew was to follow commands from either the female or her companions.

And that exactly, they had done.

Her pet Tiger — Tee — raced between the males, mauling anyone it crossed paths with. She had promised that if it helped her out in this war, she'd let the Tiger go.

She wouldn't go back on her promise now would she? No, she couldn't.

Swords clashed against swords, bodies fell to the floor with blood saring all over them. The female watched this as it happened, standing across from the male who had looked at her with sad, remorseful eyes.

She moved, slowly taking everything in while she watched.

‘What am I doing?’ she questioned herself, her eyes raking the battlefield.

‘What have I turned to? I have changed, but was it for the best?’ she thought, genuinely concerned and confused.

‘Yes, it was...’ she answered to her self-asked question, or was it another voice speaking in her head?

As she was thinking, standing in the middle of all the bloodshed with her war-hamr axe laying slightly limp in her hands, the voice — her voice? — continued to coax her to do more; to cause more damage. She was zoned out, and her male ran in front of her, gripping both shoulders with his hands as he shook her lightly.

“Co out of it!” was what it seed like he had mouthed to her, but everything was in a blur. Everything was too fast but at the sa ti, too slow for the female that she didn't grab what he said to her. He left her side, running to help another male who was in a tight spot.

The female watched the battle from a dazed mind as she struggled to comprehend what was going on with her.

‘By the gods, move!!’ She urged her body to move, but it didn't obey her wishes. Amid the clash, she couldn't find Tee in the background and the female was hurriedly overco by worry for the animal.

A spear was thrown, grazing her cheek — and also bringing her out of her mind-induced stupor — leaving only a scratch and a trail of blood as the result. Soone charged at her, and zoning back into where she was at the mont, the female moved her axe-hamr letting it make a line trail on the ground.

‘The audacity to charge at !’ The female shouted to herself in her head, now that she was back in charge of her thoughts.

As the male who charged at her ca closer, she ran towards him, swinging her weapon from the ground into the air with a familiar practice. The male slid down from her just before the weapon reached his face as he barely avoided it, reaching out to the javelin spear he had thrown at her, but her reaction was quicker. The female quickly recalibrated with her long axe still raised in the air after missing its first attempt as it swung down at the man.

‘Ga!’ The female cheered at herself in jubilee after her axe had struck ho.

He wailed a loud, strained cry when she had cut off his dominant arm that was stretched out to grab the spear. Blood splattered on her face and she blinked at the man unfazed, leaving him there and changing her direction to where the person whom she wanted to battle against was.

She saw him from afar, and with her axe hamr trailing on the ground behind her, she ran as fast as she could, barrelling through anyone in her way.
