The Igwe, alongside his Council of Elders, ca to a consensus regarding the matter of the female, although so Elders vied on the Igwe's decision. Amongst the Elders was a tall, burly man who had a receding hairline, sharp v-brow, and a jutting tummy.

Now this man followed the others to oppose the King's decision to make the female 'work' her way out of her predicant; he wanted her to rot in her cell because she violated the law.

The Igwe entered into his grandiose hut, which was molded with finesse and expertise, although it was made with a lack of materials except for bamboo sticks and palm fronds, it was beautiful to gaze upon. He swung the curtain-like material aside and stepped inside, only to be grabbed by an unknown hand.

His wife, startled, jumped up at his sudden words as she rembered that instead of her to serve him food first, she stayed as he jisted her of what happened. She apologized for her tardiness and rushed into a compartnt in the hut to bring out the ofe nsala (which was cooked on firewood) and akpu from the pot to serve her husband.
“Nna, were oh?” She said after dropping the food served in a bowled-wooden plate on the table.
Yes, even though their community was traditional, it didn't stop them from having a bit of modernity.
