"Hey, hey, this is all right. I'm not going to do anything to you," Fang Yuan tried to coax the Crimonhoof Deer in a soothing voice, though he doubted that this would help. The Crimson Hoof Deer paused for a mont, wondering where he was until it saw him in the sky and then began running once more.

A small speck of black light showed, and then it disappeared. This was so form of stealth-type Gu.

However, Fang Yuan had already tracked it through the blood and knew exactly where it was. Next, it attempted to increase its fleeing speed using so other kind of Gu worm, running almost three tis as fast afterward.

Fang Yuan, however, was very experienced when it ca to flying and had his own flying-type Gu. Naturally, between soone who could move through the sky and soone who was running on the ground, it was clear who would be faster. There were nurous obstacles, such as hills and rocks, that the Crimson Hoof Deer had to avoid, which Fang Yuan did not.

When these two options had failed, the Crimson Hoof Deer finally turned around and decided to counterattack. It was extrely sudden, like an action made in a final act of desperation. Soone less experienced than Fang Yuan might've been unable to react in ti.

A gu worm launched a torrent of blood at him.

Blood-Flowing Lance Gu!

The original Water-Flowing Lance Gu was a Water Path Gu, however, this gu worm had branched out as a Blood Path modification of it.

Not only could it do damage, but once the blood stuck to a target, it would reduce its speed even if they used a defensive type gu. It was perfect for soone who was trying to get away from a target.

Fang Yuan's wings suddenly folded and he dropped like a rock through the air, avoiding the attack before his wings opened up at the last second, saving him from crashing into the ground.

The Crimsonhoof Deer seed to be astonished at that kind of movent before Fang Yuan activated several gu worms at once in his aperture.

Mortal Killer Move- Bloodline Enslavent!

One of the gu worms atop the Crimsonhoof Deer attempted a counterattack, a defensive type Gu worm that made a thin mbrane of blood around it. However, the deer's Gu worms could not keep up with Fang Yuan's killer move, and the deer slowly cald down.

Since Fang Yuan had not used a proper enslavent Gu, its enslavent was not as complete as he would have liked. His control over it would be sowhat limited. It would definitely not fight until its last breath for him. Were it in danger, it would then begin to flee.

But this was acceptable to Fang Yuan.

Fang Yuan's killer move Bloodline Enslavent would have made it treat Fang Yuan as if he were a close blood relative, so it now treated Fang Yuan as if it was its parent.

Given the fact that Fang Yuan had been sowhat familiar with it in the past already, this was far easier to achieve than it otherwise would have been.

None of its gu worms activated again. Fang Yuan used the Spring Autumn Cicada's aura to refine the wild gu worms on its body.

When the Crimsonhoof Deer as a mount, they turned back to the village. When he arrived, he told the elders he had sothing important to do and was not to be disturbed.

***

The Crimsonhoof Deer was brought out for the refinent process Fang Yuan was undergoing. It cried out as Fang Yuan began draining so of its blood, but it did not bolt.

He took out one of the gu worms that he had refined from its body and then tossed its blood into it. In addition, he tossed in thirty grams of aged honey, forty Moon Orchid Petals, two Blood Moon Gu, and finally, the most important ingredient - a fang from the mouth of the Blood River Python's corpse.

The ball of light in front of him slowly stabilized as he tossed in prival stones until, finally, it coalesced into a new gu worm entirely.

It took the form of a small insect barely the size of his finger before Fang Yuan began feeding it with drops of his blood.

This gu worm used blood infused with prival essence from Gu Masters as both its food and to activate itself - it was the Blood Guillotine Gu! When infused with blood, the insects would begin to multiply until they ford a cloud that could potentially envelop the entire Gu Yue village. If used against Gu Masters, the insects could continue expanding even with enemy blood. It was less effective against animals like the wolves - but had been used by the Gu Yue clan in the past by sacrificing several elders to fuel it.

The original Blood Guillotine Gu left behind by first gen Gu Yue had been destroyed during the fight with Lord Sky Crane. Fang Yuan had wanted to recreate it for so ti but had lacked the necessary materials until now.

Now though, Fang Yuan could bring out its full power. Not only that, but there might be a pathway open to him to refine this into the Rank 6 Blood Deity much as he wanted to do in his past life.

With that said, although this was a big victory for him, to obtain a real combat-worthy Rank 5 gu worm, he could not openly use it like he could his other gu. It was a trademark Blood Path demonic gu which could not be flaunted around lest he wanted the Tie clan to send another investigator his way.

He had wanted to advance the Vermillion Blood Moon Gu to Rank 5, but no recipe for it existed in the clan. He could attempt deducing another one himself, but even with his Grandmaster Blood Path attainnt level, it would take several attempts.

He turned his gaze to the Crimsonhoof Deer. If he could advance it to a Mutant Beast King, it could naturally draw Rank 5 gu worms to itself. However, this was not the right environnt for its nourishnt - it would need a Blood Path aperture to best fully develop.

Fang Yuan could do little about that right now. He took the Crimsonhoof Deer and tied it up near the pavilion where it would not encounter any loud noises that might scare it. Dosticated deer were rare but not unheard of.

It would be the best for its developnt if he could find it a flock, and potentially make more Crimsonhoof Deer, but although he had managed to find two Rank 3 Deer Enslavent Gu from it, the Gu Yue village did not have the resources to support an Enslavent Path Gu Master.
