Keith was the first to notice the change in Ian.

Ian’s body shuddered beneath him.

“Ah?!”

A sound tore out of Ian before he could stop it.

Keith froze for a fraction of a second.

“Is it here?”

“Ah! Yes! Don’t!”

Ian trembled all over, and the reaction only made Keith’s desire sharpen.

This is the place.

Sowhere in the fog of the curse, Keith understood that pressing there made Ian feel good. Ian’s body betrayed him despite his terror, every involuntary response feeding the hunger twisting inside Keith.

Keith still had not removed his blood-soaked clothes.

He did not want Ian’s body brushing against anything so filthy.

Though by now, that thought ca far too late.

With rough, impatient hands, Keith tore off his shirt. Beneath it was a torso carved with muscle and scars, the body of a man who had survived countless battles and punished himself through every one of them.

Ian tried to turn away from the sight.

Keith caught his chin and forced his gaze back.

Then he moved again.

“Ah! Ahh!”

Ian was crying again.

But this ti, even through the tears, his body’s reaction was unmistakable. The hand that had been trying to push Keith away now clutched at him tightly, and Ian’s face was flushed a vivid, helpless red.

Keith pressed kisses to his cheeks and forehead again and again.

Ian looked ripe.

Tempting.

Precious.

Keith wanted to bite him. To swallow him whole.

An endless hunger writhed inside him, a craving so deep it felt as though nothing short of devouring Ian completely could ever satisfy it.

And yet, beneath that hunger, another desire remained.

He wanted to be careful with him.

To treat him as sothing more precious than anything else in the world.

This fragile, stubborn, impossibly strong person.

So Keith did both.

He moved like a beast, driven by the curse, while kissing Ian with maddening gentleness.

Ian was pushed to the very edge.

“Mm! Yes!”

Ian could no longer make sense of anything.

It felt good.

It was unbearable.

It felt as though his mind was coming apart. Every movent sent sensation crashing through him, leaving him shaken apart beneath Keith’s strength.

His body responded as if it had been made to betray him.

Whenever Keith found that sensitive place again, Ian’s mouth opened helplessly, and only broken, foolish sounds ca out.

His mind went blank.

He had never felt pleasure like this before.

Then Ian’s body reached its limit.

He shook all over and collapsed back, motionless.

Even though he had known sothing like this might happen, the shock of it still hollowed him out.

He wanted to die.

He wanted to kill Keith.

The two thoughts existed side by side, equally sincere.

But hadn’t this been the thod Ian himself had chosen?

Did that an he should kill himself instead?

“Ah... if you tighten like that...”

I should really kill this bastard.

Keith sighed above him.

Ian knew perfectly well what his body was doing. Did Keith have to say it out loud? Couldn’t he keep even one thing to himself?

Then Keith’s movents stopped abruptly.

His body trembled.

Ian’s blood ran cold.

No.

“Wait...!”

It was too late.

Ian squeezed his eyes shut and endured it.

“......”

“Sigh...”

Only Keith’s breath sounded above him.

I should really die.

Ian thought it with perfect sincerity.

His vision began to flicker.

“Is it over?”

He tried to check.

He was in no state to look at the system window. He felt as though he might lose consciousness at any second.

Keith did not answer.

Ian forced his heavy eyelids open.

Keith lowered his head and kissed him again.

Uh...?

The kiss was deep.

Long.

Relentless.

Ian could not understand how soone so young could be this good at kissing.

Had Keith had experience?

No.

That was impossible.

Keith was a Holy Knight. No one was more famous for his vow of celibacy, his restraint, his absolute discipline.

That made what he was doing now all the more shocking.

Ian stared up at him.

Keith’s face was devout with concentration, as though he were performing a sacred rite instead of destroying Ian’s sanity.

“Your tongue is locked. Did you know that?”

Who are you?

This could not be Keith.

This could not be the diligent, honest Holy Knight Keith.

Then Keith spread Ian’s legs again.

This ti, Ian’s body offered almost no resistance.

“......!”

Ian wanted to say he could not do it.

It was not a question of whether his body could endure it. It was stamina. Consciousness. Survival.

He was on the verge of fainting.

But Keith kissed him again.

Ian’s eyes flickered toward the wavering HP window.

Isn’t there a word for dying from this?

Ian had died countless tis in this ga.

But this was the first ti he had encountered a situation like this.

He had never wanted to collect this kind of experience.

That was as far as his thoughts went.

Looking up at Keith, who was moving above him with terrible, earnest devotion, Ian lost consciousness.

*****

Jeong Yiwon had graduated from university and joined a dium-sized company without forming any real personal relationships.

His temper, which had once made him bark like a dog whenever soone barked at him first, had been worn down by society. He had learned to live well enough.

He did not think about the future.

He simply got through one day after another.

Jeong Yiwon had no friends from the orphanage.

There had been a few incidents there, after all.

In any case, Yiwon had never been the type to obey just because so older kid told him to do sothing. He had never been good at answering with a simple yes.

“Madman. What’s he trying so hard to live for?”

The older boys used to say things like that.

Yiwon sotis wondered what they would think if they saw him now, nodding along with “yes, yes” and fitting in just fine at work.

Still, there was one old friend who kept in touch.

“How have you been lately?”

That friend was one of the more successful kids from the orphanage.

He had beco a developer.

He had joined a ga company that, by their standards, felt almost like a major corporation, and he said he was working on so ga.

“Just living.”

“If you’re not busy, why don’t you join a beta test?”

“My ho computer can’t run gas.”

“Then replace it. How long are you going to use that piece of junk? Does it still run CDs?”

“What’s wrong with running CDs? It has character. Are you buying a new one?”

He said that, but Yiwon changed his computer anyway and tried his friend’s ga.

The ga was a mobile ga, completely unrelated to computers.

And sohow, surprisingly, it ran perfectly on Ian’s phone.

That was the problem.

The ga was .

Thinking back on it, maybe that had been the beginning of every problem.

...But why had he forgotten about that friend?

No.

Had Yiwon ever really had a friend like that?

Sorry, sorry, sorry.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

When would that sound stop ringing in his ears?

Ian opened his eyes.

Then imdiately closed them again.

Pain ruled his entire body.

Getting up was out of the question. Even lying still hurt.

What happened? Did I get hit by a car?

For a mont, that was the only explanation Ian could imagine.

Then he rembered the previous day.

Ah.

He felt like soone waking up the morning after causing a catastrophic accident.

Clenching his teeth, he tried to rise again.

This ti, he managed to push himself upright.

And then he saw sothing strange.

Whack!

Whack!

Keith was kneeling nearby, striking his own body.

It was not wild or impulsive.

It was thodical.

Practiced.

As though he had done this many tis before.

Keith was on his knees, hitting his stomach and legs with the scabbard of his sword. Only then did Ian notice that those places had turned black, almost as if the flesh had begun to die.

“Have you woken up?”

Keith’s voice held no emotion.

“I left the filthy place untouched because I thought you might wish to punish it yourself. I have sharpened the sword so you can take my life easily, should you choose to do so. Please take it if that is your intent.”

He offered the Holy Sword to Ian, still sheathed.

Ian stared at ◈ Nоvеlіgһт ◈ (Continue reading) him in horror.

“What are you doing? Are you insane?”

“I understand that I cannot use yesterday’s madness as an excuse.”

Keith answered calmly.

But his voice trembled so badly that the sha and despair beneath it were impossible to miss.

If Ian did not cut him down, Keith looked ready to do it himself.

“No, not that! I’m talking about the insane thing you’re doing right now!”

“What do you an...?”

“Yesterday was because of the curse! You clung to because you needed sothing like artificial respiration, right? You ca to receive , didn’t you?”

But why am I making excuses for him?

Ian could not understand himself.

But if he did not make excuses, Keith might really kill himself.

“No,” Keith said. “Nothing can excuse it. I committed a terrible act. A Holy Knight should never dare... not to soone like you...”

“I told you to do it!”

Ian could not believe those words had co out of his own mouth.

Keith shook his head.

“No. That was more like artificial respiration. It was a noble act. But I was blinded by desire... and you were experiencing it for the first ti. I will pay for this sin with my life.”

“Oh, then your life is mine now, right?”

Ian snatched the sword from him.

“Stop it! What right do you have to kill sothing that belongs to ?”

His heart was pounding with terror.

Keith might actually die.

Keith’s eyes widened.

Then he lowered his gaze.

“But I violated your purity. How can I ever atone for that sin?”

Is Ian pure?

Ian thought of the “womanizer” reputation attached to this character.

If anyone here was pure, it was probably Keith.

And the mont Ian rembered that he had slept with a twenty-four-year-old, he felt as though he might lose his mind all over again.
