The group once again heard the sharp, eerie voice from the Corpse Demon Puppet ahead, and then they saw the flying insects in front transform into one black butterfly after another, rushing towards them with a howling swoop.
Those black butterflies, like the Heavenly Maiden Scattering Flower, flew swiftly toward the martial artists in front, as fast as lightning. Many martial artists unleashed their skills and Dark Weapons, attempting to block the fierce attack of those black butterflies.

A martial artist skilled in using Hidden Weapons launched countless Hidden Weapons at the black butterflies in front. Having locked onto the black butterflies with Divine Sense, every Hidden Weapon he launched could hit a black butterfly.
However, in the next mont, a shocking scene occurred to the martial artist; he saw those black butterflies actually block his Hidden Weapons and then direct a cold Killing Aura at his locked-on body.
The martial artist gasped in shock, realizing his Hidden Weapons were ineffective against the black butterflies. He quickly retrieved a Longsword from his storage ring and poured Primordial Power into it to fend off those black butterflies with the Longsword.
A burst of white light shot out from Duan Gujin's right hand, blasting toward the black butterflies ahead.
This current skill was sothing he had learned from Wu Xiuqing through the Mirror Image Divine Power; he didn't know its na, only that it was most effective against powerful dark attribute demons.
As expected, the black butterflies, upon seeing the burst of white light, lost their sense of direction and flew wildly everywhere.

He waved his right hand, quickly sending a burst of white light onto the martial artist's body.

The martial artist shielded his eyes with his hands as soon as he saw the white light.
