"Finally safe!"
Duan Gujin extended his Divine Sense to survey the surrounding area.
After a while, he discovered a powerful chill emanating from inside the deep cave.
"I want to go down and see for myself what's down there."
He took a deep breath and then dived into the depths of the cave.
About a hundred ters down, he saw a smooth stone wall below. Judging by its shape, he deduced it was not a naturally ford smooth wall, but most likely man-made.
So, he followed the smooth stone wall all the way down in search.
A little while later, he found a deep hole in one of the stone walls.
Sensing the cold energy flowing out from the hole, Duan Gujin was certain he could pass through it, so he went through.
"Who would have thought that beneath the sea there would be such a complex series of caves!"
Duan Gujin surveyed his surroundings and felt he could pass through the cave entrance ahead.
So, he went through the narrow entrance.
After passing through the entrance, he saw a huge sea cave beneath the ocean floor.
He inspected the sea cave and, after a while, discovered a huge Sealing Array within the sea cave.
He followed the direction of the Sealing Array and soon found two Longswords scattered haphazardly on the ground within the cave.
He picked up the swords, cleared the mud off them, and saw two words on each of the blades.
After a Divine Sense Inspection, he finally read the words on the blades: Evil Slayer and Demon Extermination.
He recalled sothing and realized he had heard that the Guanghan Heavenly Palace had similar treasure swords.
"These two swords must be from the Guanghan Heavenly Palace! The style is very similar!"
He checked the ground and discovered a giant skeleton buried underneath.
From the shape of the remains, he determined that the skeleton on the ground was definitely not from the Human Clan, but most likely the last Demon King Skeleton that was sealed here.
"Then what was that skeleton I saw before?"
Duan Gu's eyes flickered as he intended to find more clues in the underground cave, but after a ticulous search, he discovered no useful clues.
He turned his Divine Sense inward to the two Longswords and found so residual Divine Power within them, so he decided to take the swords to et the Palace Master.
Monts later, he found the Palace Master and handed her the two Longswords.
Taking the swords, the Palace Master furrowed her brows in thought for a while, only then recalling that she had seen similar nas in one of the Classics.
"These two Longswords must be ancestral Sealing Treasures!"
The Palace Master channeled her Primordial Power into the swords, and after a while, they started to hum.
She was overjoyed to find that the swords, which had at least a thousand years of history and had been soaked in seawater, could still be controlled by her.
"Is there anything else down there?" the Palace Master imdiately beca interested.
"Please accompany down for a check; I'm not certain if there will be other mysteries down there," Duan Gujin said.
The reason he asked the Palace Master to co with him was that he realized not only was her strength far greater than his own, but also because the Sealing Array in that cave was set up by the Guanghan Heavenly Palace.
And as the Palace Master was a high-ranking mber of the Guanghan Heavenly Palace, if there was any mystery with the Sealing Array inside, she would be able to discern it.
"Alright!"
Without hesitation, the Palace Master then took Duan Gujin with her and dived down into the sea cave.
After inspecting the sea cave twice thoroughly to make sure there was nothing else inside, she then left with Duan Gujin.
"There's nothing mysterious about this underwater cave! I've figured it out, Duan Gujin, we should now go settle the score with those sea crabs! I think I know what's happening!"
Suddenly, the Palace Master said anxiously.
"Palace Master, what's going on?"
Upon hearing this, Duan Gujin imdiately beca intrigued.
"I suspect there was an earthquake underwater or so other reason which led to the destruction of the ancient Sealing Array, and those sea crabs found the treasure swords and other items left behind here by our forebears from the Guanghan Heavenly Palace!"
The Palace Master explained.
"Palace Master, your reasoning makes a lot of sense!"
Duan Gujin quickly nodded in agreent.
"Now I have good news for you, I can go back and properly restore these two Longswords. Once they've been fixed, I'll be able to use them to confront the Sky Crossing Demon King!"
The Palace Master said.
"How confident are you?" Duan Gujin asked out of curiosity.
"It depends on how much Divine Power is left inside these two Longswords. If there is a lot left, then I'll have greater confidence. If there's little Divine Power left inside, then my confidence will be much reduced!"
The Palace Master answered.
"Alright then, let's go find those sea crabs!"
Duan Gujin had no interest in the two Longswords; the Sealing Arrays within them were very special, and he surmised that only mbers of the Guanghan Heavenly Palace could use them.
If he were to use them, the power of the swords would surely be greatly diminished.
Therefore, he had already decided to return the two treasure swords to the Palace Master.
Duan Gujin and the Palace Master then swam up from the underwater fissure, heading in the direction previously indicated by the two Sea Crabs.
After two hours, they arrived at a massive Sea Crab Tribe settlent.
Upon seeing the Sea Crab Tribe, they felt an imnse shock in their hearts.
"I'm dizzy! I thought the buildings of these Sea Crab Tribes were just caves, but I didn't expect that they could actually build structures under the sea that look like giant conches."
It turned out that Duan Gujin and the Palace Master saw in front of them that the tribe's buildings looked like a series of gigantic conches.
They glanced around at the Sea Crab Tribe and found that the surroundings were full of various giant sea crabs moving around.
"It seems our movents have been exposed!"
The Palace Master said.
"So we're exposed! It doesn't matter!"
Duan Gujin's eyes flickered, and after a while, he said to the Palace Master.
"I sense sothing nearby seems to be following us, what about you?"
"I feel the sa! I also sense that sothing is following us from behind, but I can't confirm what it is that's been tracking us!"
The Palace Master said.
"It's best to draw out whatever it is first. Otherwise, we may end up surrounded on all sides!" Duan Gujin said.
"Right!"
The Palace Master quickly nodded in agreent.
"How should we draw it out?" the Palace Master asked through a secret transmission.
"Let's retreat two kiloters to avoid being surrounded by the sea crabs."
Duan Gujin responded with a secret transmission.
"Okay!"
The Palace Master imdiately agreed with Duan Gujin's suggestion.
