Seeing Duan Gujin still erging with ease from what it deed a Forbidden Land, the Thunder Sky Beast had no choice but to reassess Duan Gujin.
Previously, it had thought that Duan Gujin was no different from other mbers of the Devil Clan, but now it realized that Duan Gujin was many tis more powerful than any Devil Clan mbers it had encountered before.
It had seen many terrifyingly powerful mbers of the Devil Clan in this place, but none of them could break into those ruins, let alone enter the canyon beyond.
Yet, this mber of the Devil Clan had managed to do just that, which was a trendous shock to it.
Its eyes flickered as it pondered for a while, then it finally said to Duan Gujin, "My friend, I just rembered, there's another place ahead. It's a very magical place that occasionally shines with all sorts of strange lights. I can't tell what exactly that place is! It only started to show anomalies in the past year or two, it wasn't like that before!"
"Lead the way!"
After a mont of contemplation, Duan Gujin understood why the Thunder Sky Beast hadn't ntioned this earlier.
Because the Thunder Sky Beast was still on its guard against him, it had very little trust in him.
Duan Gujin understood this ntality all too well.
If the roles were reversed, he too wouldn't trust the Thunder Sky Beast very much.
Under the guidance of the Thunder Sky Beast, he ca to the edge of a cliff on a tall mountain.
"Look!"
The Thunder Sky Beast asked Duan Gujin to observe the scene ahead.
Duan Gujin was sowhat suspicious that the Thunder Sky Beast would do him harm there and while he was cautiously guarding against it, he looked in the direction it was pointing.
After a while, he indeed saw brilliant lights flickering below the cliff ahead.
The lights were of various colors, vivid and bright.
His brows furrowed tightly. He pondered what could be causing the strange phenonon ahead.
"Have you been there before?"
Duan Gujin suddenly beca interested and inquired.
"I have, but I was blocked by a demon beast. That demon beast isn't afraid of my lightning attacks; it seems to be born with the ability to restrain !"
Only then did Duan Gujin realize why the Thunder Sky Beast told him there might be treasures here. It must've thought it wouldn't share the information about the treasure, but after seeing him easily pass through the Thunder God Ruins and the canyon, it probably felt that he was powerful enough to help it against the Python.
Thus, it must have chosen to take the initiative in telling him about the situation here.
"Do you know what exactly the treasure is?"
Duan Gujin persisted in asking.
"I've broken in once before. I saw a large tree emitting a myriad of colors. Although I don't know what kind of tree it is, I always have a premonition that the tree should belong to —it's my tree, not that Python's! I've clashed with that Python many tis, but I've always failed. It seems to be able to devour the lightning that I emit!"
The Thunder Sky Beast said.
Hearing this, a glint flashed through Duan Gujin's eyes. Having contested with the Thunder Sky Beast several tis before, he knew that although it was slightly weaker than himself, if it weren't for the special Thunder Attribute Power environnt here, it would be hard to say who was stronger.
This showed that the Python Demon Beast was also not weak.
"Then take to et that Python Demon Beast!"
Duan Gujin said.
"Alright!"
The Thunder Sky Beast's face was filled with joy, wishing for nothing more than for Duan Gujin and the Python Demon Beast to have a fierce battle, preferably ending in both suffering injuries.
Only if both parties were badly injured could it reclaim the big tree that belonged to it.
The very thought made it as excited as if it had been injected with chicken blood.
Under the lead of the Thunder Sky Beast, Duan Gujin soon saw the Python Demon Beast.
It was a massive gray-brown python over thirty ters long, its scales shimring with a tallic luster.
Duan Gujin watched the python for a long while, and finally confird that there was a strong Earth attribute power inside the Python Demon Beast.
Generally, Earth attribute power suppresses Thunder Elent attribute power.
"No wonder the Thunder Sky Beast couldn't beat the python! That python is its natural nesis!"
Duan Gujin thought to himself.
"How about it? Can you handle that python?"
The impatient Thunder Sky Beast asked.
"I can't accurately judge its combat power just yet. I need to engage it in battle first to know its true combat power!"
Afterward, Duan Gujin asked the Thunder Sky Beast to stay away from his current position. He didn't trust it much; he didn't want it to suddenly attack him while he and the Python Demon Beast were both badly injured in battle. He needed to be cautious.
The Thunder Sky Beast didn't suspect anything and moved away.
Seeing the Thunder Sky Beast leave, Duan Gujin breathed a sigh of relief. He quickly mobilized his Primordial Power, brought forth the Giant Demon Dragon Elephant Martial Soul, and didn't imdiately attack the Python Demon Beast in front of him. First, he needed to investigate the state of the surrounding Void, to understand exactly what kind of environnt he was in.
Monts later, he realized that the place where he stood had very weak Thunder Attribute Power, and space here was very stable.
He instantly understood why the Thunder Sky Beast was unable to defeat the Python Demon Beast.
For the Thunder Sky Beast to fully exhibit its combat power, it needed an environnt with a strong Thunder Power attribute. Here, it simply couldn't bring all of its combat power to bear.
"This place is actually very suitable for that Python Demon Beast with its Earth attribute power to manifest its abilities!"
Duan Gujin touched his nose, considering how to deal with the Python Demon Beast in front of him.
After a while, he decided to first figure out the Python Demon Beast's combat power.
He released his Giant Demon Dragon Elephant Martial Soul and mobilized his Primordial Power, step by step, approaching the Python Demon Beast.
Soon, the Python Demon Beast sensed his presence and made hissing sounds towards him.
Its massive body was coiled around a tree whose leaves, trunk, and branches all twinkled with multicolored lights, as it extended a huge earthy-yellow head towards Duan Gujin.
Imdiately after, Duan Gujin sensed waves of intense killing aura bursting forth from the body of the Python Demon Beast, targeting him.
He looked at the Python Demon Beast, his expression solemn, his gaze growing colder.
He continued to stimulate his Primordial Power, erupting the imposing force of the Giant Demon Dragon Elephant Martial Soul.
He wanted to instill fear in the Python Demon Beast, to weaken its combat power to so extent.
Hiss!
Sensing the formidable Martial Soul Power emanating from Duan Gujin, the Python Demon Beast beca agitated, continuously flicking its tongue out, its body tensed, ready to engage in combat the next mont.
Duan Gujin exhaled a breath, waved his right hand, and the Ultimate Thunder Hamr appeared in his palm. With a thought, he activated the Extre Thunder Technique.
In just a mont, countless Thunder Dragons roared towards the Python Demon Beast.
Then, those Thunder Dragons reached the Python Demon Beast in less than five breaths.
