"It looks like we have eliminated most if not all the zombies here." Leng Pan comnted with a smile feeling a sense of accomplishnt.
"Yes, it seems so. Thanks for your help, Baby." Lu Zhen replied and at the sa ti thanked his wife for protecting him.
Just because he was busy fighting didn’t an he was unaware of what was happening around him.
He trusted his wife, that’s why he let his guard down, but he never completely withdrew his attention from her in case she needed him.
Therefore, he was aware that she had saved him from sneak attacks a couple of tis.
"It’s nothing. We are not only husband and wife, but also a team. So, we should learn how to work together." Leng Pan indeed didn’t think that saving her husband was a big deal.
For her, it was as natural as breathing. So, she didn’t take his gratitude to heart.
"Alright, let’s go inside and see if we can find a good spot for training." Lu Zhen said as he took his wife’s hand and walked towards the entrance.
As they entered the waiting area, Leng Pan suddenly stopped and her body stiffened. Lu Zhen stopped as well and looked at her.
"What’s wrong?" He asked while looking at her with concern.
"Did you get hurt during the fight?" He added, suddenly feeling like a failure as a husband.
Had he failed to protect her? If sothing happened to her, he wouldn’t know what to do.
Knowing that her husband had a tendency for overthinking when it ca to her, Leng Pan hurriedly waved her hands. Her husband had let go of her hand and was busy examining her to determine if she was hurt.
"I am not hurt. It’s just that, I felt as if sothing was probing into my space. It was a fleeting feeling that disappeared imdiately. Don’t worry." Leng Pan hurriedly explained because she realized that if she didn’t, her husband would start to panic.
"What do you an?" Lu Zhen asked with even more concern.
Leng Pan’s space was unique and too heaven-defying. It couldn’t be exposed no matter what. He didn’t care who found out about it, he would eliminate them before they beca a threat to her.
"I don’t know how to explain it. It was a strange feeling. Kind of like how it feels to be watched by soone. But this ti, the feeling wasn’t exactly the sa.
Not like I was being watched, but as if soone or sothing was probing into the space. However, they didn’t discover it.
Maybe I am overthinking and scaring myself." Leng Pan explained, then added such a statent in the end.
"Let’s not take it lightly. At this ti, we cannot be careless and overlook anything. So, we are going to assu that soone knows about your space or at least, they have so speculations about it and are probing to find it.
They most likely don’t know the space belongs to you and are just searching blindly. So, let’s try not to use the space too often for a while.
You usually use it mostly to retrieve the spiritual spring water, there are still several bottles in the kitchen, let’s use those first." Lu Zhen didn’t want to take any risks when it ca to his wife.
So, whether soone was really looking for her space or sothing else, he wouldn’t allow them to find it.
Now, he was even more determined to beco stronger. If anyone ca looking for his wife, he would make sure they didn’t return.
Leng Pan could feel the shift in her husband’s deanor and knew that he was determined. So, she stopped the words that were about to leave her mouth.
If she really told him to ignore it, then he would get angry. She might as well let him do whatever he wanted.
Moreover, she was also not at ease. She was just trying to comfort Lu Zhen when she said it was nothing. She didn’t believe that. She had read enough novels and watched enough movies to know that people who ignored such feelings always ended up badly.
She wasn’t planning on being one of them. However, since they didn’t know what was happening yet, they could only do what Lu Zhen had suggested.
"Okay, let’s go inside." Lu Zhen said as he took his wife’s hand again and resud walking.
"Do you think if I use the space to only place things inside it could be detected? It will take like, a second to place sothing inside." Leng Pan thought of all the supplies they might find and beca restless.
How could they leave them behind just because of so fear of being discovered?
Lu Zhen understood this girl the best and he knew that she felt like she was being controlled if she couldn’t do what she wanted because of factors involving other people.
However, he didn’t want to take a risk when he wasn’t strong enough. With his current strength and level of superpower, he could protect her for a short ti and even lt bullets with his fire if they were shot at. But, he was also aware that his energy was not enough to last a long ti.
If he ran out of energy in a situation where they were surrounded, then they could only be at the rcy of others. He wouldn’t allow that.
"Wait for to advance then you can collect all the supplies you want. For now, just bear with it. I can feel that my accumulated energy is almost overflowing.
If an excess of energy is what can help to advance, then it won’t be long." Lu Zhen comforted the woman beside him.
"Okay then, let’s just wait....oh no! We forgot to check if those zombies have crystal cores.
If there are crystal cores, then you can absorb them and advance even faster." Leng Pan exclaid.
How could they forget sothing so important?
