Leng Pan didn’t waste ti and imdiately started cutting the at with a water blade.
She had Lu Tao wait near the door for his brother so as not to freeze, being too deep in the cold storage unit.
While she searched for the best at to cut, she also placed whole animals into her space. She just needed to pile them up with the other at she had bought before the start of the apocalypse.
It could be handled later when they had ti or when she could finally bring more people into the space.
She was not discriminatory. She kept everything she could touch and wouldn’t leave a big gap that would be too obvious to Lu Tao.
She would then cut up the at she thought was good such as legs and even ribs for barbecues in the future and carry them to pile them near the door.
She then went back to look for more at and the process continued.
When Lu Zhen brought the garbage bags back, there was already a large pile of beef at. He started to fill in the bags with his brother’s help.
Once a bag was half full, Lu Zhen would tie it and put it aside, then take another bag to fill.
Since he and Leng Pan had been training nonstop and also seed to have a mutation in their DNA due to the superpowers and spiritual spring water, they had strength and stamina that was several tis stronger than that of normal humans.
"Okay, Baby, I think that’s enough for now. Otherwise, the truck won’t be able to fit so much at." Lu Zhen called to his wife to stop cutting more at after they had filled at least thirty garbage bags.
In fact, that was a lot of at. If they didn’t have any extra freezer or the electricity to power them, then they wouldn’t be able to keep so much at intact for long.
But now with so much at that had a variety of both red and white at, they could have sumptuous als with enough at everyday without worry.
"Alright, let see if there is anything I might have missed. What if there is dragon at hiding sowhere and I leave it here for others?" Leng Pan still had a sense of humor at that mont and this surprised Lu Tao.
Lu Zhen was already used to his wife’s antics and didn’t bother with her comnt about dragon at. Did she think they were in the ancient Xianxia worlds that used dragons and phoenixes as mounts?
Anyway, his wife could do whatever she wanted as long as she was happy.
In fact, Leng Pan just wanted a few more minutes to herself to put away more at in the space. She had bought a lot of at before that apocalypse.
However, she had not accounted for the increase of their appetite after awakening their superpowers. Moreover, there was no guarantee that they would always be a family of six people and wouldn’t be joined by other people to form a team.
It couldn’t be expected that the family would eat good food and give their teammates plain rice with legus.
Thus, it was better to take more at now that she had encountered it and wasn’t sure if they would find another place like this.
Therefore, by the ti Lu Zhen and Lu Tao finished moving the packed garbage bags filled with at, Leng Pan had also put away over a hundred full cows, hundred pigs, goats, lambs, thousands of chickens, ducks, and even turkeys.
Since the animals were hung in rows, she made sure that no one could tell that most of them had been removed. Thus, even Lu Tao who was standing at the door didn’t notice that most of the at was already missing from the cold storage unit.
As soon as the last garbage bags were loaded into the truck, Leng Pan walked towards the door and followed her husband and brother-in-law outside.
They closed the door to prevent warm air from seeping inside and walked back to the truck.
At that mont, there were already many zombies who had turned into dust after lting due to coming into contact with the mist barrier surrounding the truck.
This was the first ti Leng Pan had tried sothing like this and she hadn’t expected it to succeed so much.
Not a single zombie had been able to cross that barrier.
However, at that mont she was also at the end of her ntal strength. Maintaining the state of the barrier required constant control through ntal power, otherwise it would collapse.
Not only that but the water that had made the barrier ca from her body and not the surroundings.
Therefore, she was exhausting herself on two fronts. However, looking at the still intact truck, Leng Pan had to say that this was a practical and beneficial skill.
When she got into the truck, her head was pounding so much she felt as if it was about to explode.
Unfortunately, she still couldn’t withdraw the barrier as they had not yet left the slaughterhouse. Zombies were still surrounding them and even the gate should also be full of zombies that had finally been able to get in after the gate was burned.

When the car joined the highway and could drive at a fast speed, the number of zombies had reduced and they didn’t need the barrier anymore.
Thus, Leng Pan imdiately withdrew the mist. She was already sweating from the pain in her head and almost swearing out loud.
She had never expected that draining ntal power could be so freaking painful.
"What’s wrong, Baby?" Lu Zhen asked as if he could sense his wife’s discomfort even without looking.
Ah!! Sister-in-law, what happened to you? Why are you so pale and sweating so much?" Lu Tao asked with a slightly pitched voice when he turned to look at Leng Pan after Lu Zhen asked what was wrong.
"Don’t be so agitated. I just exhausted my ntal power from controlling that must barrier for too long. It was my first ti doing sothing like this, so it’s normal that I was overwheld." Leng Pan comforted the two brothers when she heard how agitated and anxious they were.
She was worried that Lu Zhen would stop driving and park the car to check up on her. That would be a problem since there were still zombies everywhere.
"Are you sure you are okay?" Lu Zhen still wanted to confirm his wife’s wellbeing. After all, to him, nothing was more important than his wife.
"I am fine, I just need so rest to replenish my energy and ntal strength. Don’t worry hubby." Leng Pan had to comfort the man who seed to lose his mind whenever sothing related to her happened.
Lu Zhen stopped asking even though one could tell that he had not let it go from how he accelerated.
It was obvious that he wanted to get ho faster and check her to make sure she was really okay.
Leng Pan felt too exhausted to argue and just leaned on her seat and closed her eyes to rest.
Even though Lu Zhen was tempted to take a direct route ho so that his wife could rest earlier, he was still concerned for her safety due to the group of people calling themselves ’The Dominion’.
He didn’t know what they would do if they found out that his wife owned a space that hid the so-called catalyst core they were looking for.
Thus, just like everyday, he took a detour and drove in circles for a while before heading ho.
When they got to their community and parked the car at the entrance of the building, he advised his brother to remain inside the car and wait for him as he took his wife back to their apartnt rest.
Lu Tao didn’t argue as he could tell that sothing was wrong with his sister-in-law and she needed to lie down.
Therefore, Lu Zhen got out of the car and walked to the other side to open the door and pulled his wife out then carried her in his arms.
Leng Pan was indeed weak and didn’t struggle. She allowed her husband to carry her like a princess and entered the elevator.
After a few minutes they were on their floor and he went straight to the door of their apartnt.
He then carried his wife to the sofa and had her lie down before pouring her a glass of spiritual spring water to drink.
When Leng Pan was done drinking, she felt much better and laid down before telling her husband to go and carry the supplies up.
