Indeed, older people have different problems to worry about compared to young people. While the young were racking their brains to determine where their next al will co from or whether they could beco strong enough to kill higher- level zombies, the elders were worried about extending the family line. If they don’t have food or a way to protect themselves, what use would the family line be?
Anyway, it was a good thing that assistant Yao couldn’t read minds, otherwise, knowing about his mother’s thoughts might give him a stroke.
Lu Zhen looked at his little wife who was pretending that nothing had happened and just smiled. He had not known before that his wife could be so thick-skinned. She gave him surprises every day. But, he loved her regardless of what she did or what she beca.
Leng Pan brought Auntie Yao to the living room where her mother-in-law and auntie-in-law were busy sorting out materials to sew thick clothes for the winter. They wanted to make a few sets at first and wash them before the climate changed.

Luckily, the materials they had found in the warehouse had already been processed and only needed tailors to asure and sow. Now that auntie Li and Li Yunjia could both make clothes, it would not be difficult to make a few sets of clothes and beddings for all of them.

"Hello, nice to et you." Auntie Li imdiately expressed friendliness and showed great hospitality by greeting the newly-arrived woman then proceeded to pour her a cup of high-quality tea made with the water Leng Pan had them drink.
It made tea even sweeter and also beneficial for the body. Auntie Yao sat down and took the offered cup of tea and took a sip then felt as if a current was flowing from her mouth to her neck as she swallowed, all the way to her stomach.
It was a very comfortable feeling that she couldn’t explain and she could tell that the tea was extraordinary but she didn’t comnt on it.
As the won sat down and started to chat, the n took the usual trolleys and went out to move the boxes they had brought back.
"On the way here I noticed that our city was very devastated by the teorites that fell. Most of the buildings collapsed and now everywhere looks like a ruin from so ancient ti." Auntie Yao said this as a way of finding a topic to talk about with the other won.
And just like that, the four won in the living room beca familiar with each other very fast. But that was how it was with won, their friendships could sprout out of nothing and within a few monts they beco gossip buddies.
The four of them talked about everything from fashion to bags, to the apocalypse, to having babies and even ca up with nas.
When the n ca back after all the supplies that assistant Yao brought had been transported to the top floor, the won were busy talking about the best way to protect newborn children in the apocalypse.
They even started to speculate whether the babies born in the future will be born with superpowers or if they would acquire them after they were born.
Lu Zhen listened at the door for a while and couldn’t help but feel confused. Were won really that carefree? They had just t but the laughter coming from the living room involving all the female creatures there was warm and genuine.
How do normal people beco so close so fast? Lu Zhen wasn’t the only one asking himself that question. His assistant was the sa. After all, he had lived with his mother in their previous apartnt for over two weeks and he hadn’t seen his mother beco so charmy with others in that building. So, what was different here?
What the n would never understand was that the won were both genuinely happy to et and beco friends, but most importantly, they were investing all that effort for their children.
For Li Yunjia, she believed that if she treated auntie Yao well, her son would appreciate her efforts and be more willing to support her son in every way. His loyalty would not waver.
The sa situation applied to auntie Yao. She thought that by being friends with Lu Zhen’s mother and treating his wife well, he will then treat his son better and provide better protection and resources for him.
She knew that Lu Zhen was definitely more capable than her son, therefore, she couldn’t go wrong by being on good terms with his wife and mother.
Hence, she was at that ti whole heartedly helping in sorting out materials to sew clothes, and was happy about it. It didn’t feel like she was providing free labor.
