Now reading: Chapter 170: Lu Zhen’s Childhood from Rewriting My Fate in the Apocalypse, a Sci-fi novel by FlamingHorse.

It’s just that, the feeling was stronger this ti. However, she could control her target. Even though Lu Zhen was standing next to her, she didn’t try to control the blood in his body, but she could sense that there was soone else nearby.

It’s just that she didn’t feel any malice from them either towards her or Lu Zhen. But she wondered what they were doing at the park at that ti.

She was almost tempted to experint her ability to control the liquid in other people’s bodies on that person, but she stopped herself.

She didn’t want to turn into a bloodthirsty monster who would kill without caring about others just for her amusent or curiosity.

She decided to experint her ability on others who beco enemies with her in the future.

"What’s wrong, Baby?" Lu Zhen had noticed that his wife had beco absent-minded for a while and was wondering what she was thinking about.

Leng Pan didn’t see any need to hide her discovery and inford her husband of the other person in the park. Lu Zhen had not expected his wife to beco so sensitive. She could actually detect assistant Yao from where he was hiding.

Seeing that everything had been arranged well, he didn’t see a need for the assistant to hang around, so he gave him a signal to leave.

Assistant Yao, who had been observing his boss and his wife from afarsaw the gesture his boss made and knew thT was his que to leave.

With his speed ability, he disappeared from the park in an instant. It was a good thing that Leng Pan had already stopped investigating the person hiding in the park, otherwise, with such a presence disappearing so fast she might have questioned her sanity.

"Where do you want to start?" Seeing her attention return to the rides and other facilities in the park, Lu Zhen asked his wife what she wanted to do first.

"Let’s start slow. We’ll ride the rry-go-round first. I have almost forgotten how it feels to ride these rides." Leng Pan comnted while happily pulling her husband to the rry-go-round.

This was actually Lu Zhen’s first ti on a rry-go-round. It’s not that he had never been to an amusent park before, but every ti he went, he would just watch other kids play.

He was never interested in such childish gas. He thought that they were a waste of ti. However, the truth was that he simply envied other kids who had their fathers there riding with them or guiding them.

He was different. When he was young enough to go to the amusent park, his father was busy with the company and didn’t have ti to go anywhere with him except for the occasional family dinners.

So, it was always his mother or grandfather taking him places. When he grew a little older, his mother gave birth to his younger brother and didn’t have ti for him either.

Now, only his grandfather took care of him. However, his grandfather, being already old, wasn’t as energetic as the young fathers taking their children to the amusent park.

So, he never got to enjoy that thrill. It wasn’t until his brother was four years old that both his parents took the two of them to the amusent park to play one ti.

The problem was that with his brother being so young, most of the attention was on him. Thus, even though he was taken to the amusent park, he only got to ride a couple of rides.

However, at least this erased his regret of not having his father take him to the park.

Unfortunately, not long after their outing, his father died and his mother took over the company.

He also had to work hard as the successor of Lu Group. He didn’t have ti for leisure anymore.

Now that he was back in the amusent park, he felt that he could make up for his regrets by experiencing the joy of playing in the park with the person he loved the most in life.

Therefore, when Leng Pan pulled him to the rry-go-round, he didn’t find it childish. He was happy to accompany her on all the rides she wanted.

Thus, the two lovers hopped from one ride to another. There was laughter of joy coming from the amusent park. If anyone were to pass by, they would think the place was haunted.

Leng Pan was srized the first ti she saw Lu Zhen laugh heartily and loudly without restraint. She realized that she wasn’t the only one who needed a break from all the apocalypse stuff

Looking at her overly handso husband, she felt a happiness spreading through her chest and settling in her heart. It was a feeling she had never felt before.

It was at that mont that she realized that she had completely fallen in love with this man who had loved the original Leng Pan so much, and loved her even more when she transmigrated.

Leng Pan was actually tempted to ask her husband if she knew that the two were different people, but she didn’t want to bring up sothing that might ruin their day, or even their marriage.

However, Lu Zhen being so smart, there is no way he had not noticed that sothing was wrong. Leng Pan could bet her entire wealth that Lu Zhen knew everything from the start.

She just didn’t understand why he had gone along with her and married her. She realized that having accepted her feelings for him and accepting that she was madly in love with him brought about unnecessary fears.

As she was thinking this, she got distracted while walking to the last ride of the day, the ferris wheel and almost fell.

Luckily, Lu Zhen was beside her and grabbed her before anything tragic could happen.

"What happened to you, Baby? Why are you so distracted all of a sudden?" Lu Zhen asked the absent-minded woman next to him.
